oh dear, This one gets a lil emotional!! I talk about the looming feeling of turning 30, The Secret History, old and lasting insecurities, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and in general just get very wistful. I'll be uploading the video version of this later tonight (I saw in the survey that folks were interested in video podcasts too, so!! we'll try it out~), once it finishes uploading!!

Respectfully, fuck Lauren for being so cruel. Your friends love you so much, and I'll always treasure "the things we do" together! 💜you'll never be 29 again! Enjoy 😉

If we were villains!!! I LOVED that book :)

Emily

I love secret history so so much!! If we were villains is really good too, definitely similar hahha.

I enjoyed listening to this one a lot

I honestly feel the opposite about turning 30 but I think it’s because my teens and 20s weren’t good at all. Minus having my kiddos and adopting my cat babies, they were worth it. Hope you feel better and 30 turns out better than you imagined ❤️

Mallory

❤️ so much love and understanding. I get it with the not fitting in / autism… i don’t wanna play the game anymore either… especially when it feels like you never seem to win anyways.

1) That Dodie song absolutely melts me (you should listen to the old version on her EP not sure which one, then listen to the one on Build a Problem and CRY because she's grown so much ToT) 2)I'm so glad that you can see past those people who have made you feel less than. I actually cannot understand people who are so mean like that as a form of "affection" 3) The way you GUT PUNCHED me with the "it feels like everyone else is in on a game, but I don't know what it is"
