First, let me just say… I hate Windows!Oh my god, how I hate it.

But, I am happily typing this from my PC, good as new! 🎉 (Hopefully.)

The culprit? Corrupted Windows files that triggered a “no display” error. Turns out my joke about the Windows update the night before… wasn’t a joke. 😅

Thankfully, it wasn’t the GPU! I only paid 55€ for a full cleanup, fresh thermal paste, BIOS update. I’ll take that over a 1.5k paperweight any day.

Now, fingers crossed, I can finally get back to work without my PC staging a rebellion.

Today is my wife’s birthday, so I’m off to celebrate her. Tomorrow is Christmas and the whole family’s gathering at our place, so life’s about to get wonderfully chaotic.

But once the holiday dust settles (around the 27th–29th), I’ll be back in the dev seat and ready to share more about the next game. I still want to make the announcement before January so you all have time to decide what’s next for you.

I’m just relieved. Relieved my PC boots. Relieved to be back. And so, so grateful for your patience.
