If the poll had closed can I still download the sketch and template? My phone doesn’t want to do it

The umbrellas. Thank you! I now realize the trick is adding the shadows.

Looks challenging but I will try. 😄

I really Love this background technique it really has lots of detail - yet without detail ♥️it.

Jennifer

Just finished this tutorial. It was very challenging, but great fun. Thanks Scottie.

I truly enjoyed this sketch. The way you did extra people in the background with just a very light blue was amazing. Also the buildings, not distracting from the main focus but adding to the feeling of a busy city. Looking forward to doing crowds.

Excellent tutorial. I love how your process created order from the chaos of the photograph. Your step-by-step technique is very effective and I look forward to trying this exercise. 👍🏻

Hi Scottie, thanks for the great tutorial! Is there a previous tutorial discussing the line work of legs and arms (straight lines, curves, combo of twoetc.)? If not, could you help to teach us in a future tutorial? Thanks again!

Suzanne Taylor

This will be the next tutorial that I will try. In general I am trying to get mine to look like yours…..the fact that you mentioned the size of paper you were working on PLUS telling us what size the figures are is going to be very helpful when I start. Thanks Scottie.

Hi Scottie The blue sign on the right you asked about reads “Cars, chartered buses, and cargo trucks may not enter Shinjuku Bus Terminal”. I registered for your class yesterday and am enjoying it immensely!
