UPCOMING TUTORIAL:  Friday 30th May: Urban Sketching - Building/Dappled Light

One tutorial that has been on my list for a while is sketching a building with dappled light! It's really about how interesting shadows from trees can play across surfaces. I tried to find different types of examples so let me know which photo you would like to sketch in the poll below! 🙌🏼

I’ve always loved doors. I’m going with # one.😊

I realize that most people like the complicated pictures, so I expect #2 will win. But I would love to see you do #3 or #4 with the dappled shadow on one side and full shadow on another side with darker shadow in the door area. When I try to do a full side of a building in shadow, the whole side gets muddy and heavy looking.

Was torn between the door and complete building. Could we have a tutorial on doors alone? Pretty please? Love doors but voted for the Tudor.
