I've got one point. Need help on two. So I voted to cover everything

Kerstin

The third reference as example for my question: How to make the front of a building and the underside of a balcony clearly look like the front and the bottom? Also, my streets or sidewalks in front of buildings often end up looking like walls instead of the ground. So, how to make clear that the different surfaces have different directions. ✍🏼

Maureen West

I too would like to learn how to make the details on buildings like balcony bottoms

Kerry Methot

I agree with Maureen West. I would love to learn more about how to do the 3rd building you posted. The perspective of standing on the ground and looking up. It is something I tend struggle with.

Joni K

I’d like tips on how to deal with two point perspective when the vanishing point is off the page.

Bruce Jones

all good topics, how to find vanishing points when you have multiple buildings facing different directions

Karen

Please incorporate stairs! They’re awfully hard from any angle!

PeiShin Chen

I’d like to learn more about sketching so I can make my drawings more interesting. Sometimes I see a building on the street and take a photo to sketch later, but the result often looks a bit boring.

Mr. M

Thanks for the great tutorials and variety of subjects...I don't have success with all of them but I have surprised myself with a few....Thanks!

Jasmine

I'd love to go over how to get the 3D effect of objects, for example with the third reference how to ensure the balconies look like they are coming out of the building

Lorna Graham

I should have chosen all of the above as I do struggle with most of the points you have mentioned. Would love to master buildings as I do enjoy sketching them. Look forward to this one Scottie.

Sally D

Love all 3 buildings but number 2 is my favourite as it’s the type of house and perspective I would wish to sketch and paint. As perspective doesn’t come second nature to me yet I would value practice with tutorials on 2 and 3 perspective . I also would like techniques on adding furniture to a building I.e. lights, drains, hanging baskets etc. thanks Scottie

I love Birds Eye view but find it very difficult to draw

Melissa

I had to vote for eye line. I thought I had it nailed but when I looked at the third building, I wasn't quite sure where the eye line is. I thought the level line, but it would be too high up for the literal "eye" level. I dunno....maybe I've got terms mixed up.
