I go in-depth into perspectives of a car with this easy step-by step tutorial for beginners. All the templates and references will be uploaded below!

Let me know in the comment if you have trouble with the perspectives, especially wheels! I hope this helps. (I know some of you like to add cars into urban sketching scenes)

So much great info!! I am learning so much from your Patreon. Thank you. Off to try this! (Love the cat!) I had lots of fun with your recent Urban sketching tutorial too. I actually came out with something decent! Haha.

I really like the loose approach. Not boring and being precise is not required. Art should be fun - you have accomplished that hands down. Now I will “give it a go”.

as a beginner i cant get my head around perspective in this video getting the shape of the car as you draw the box before you put down the van.point.

Tried this and despite all your wonderful instructions my van somehow came out a bit too long - it’s amazing how you get things right the first lines you put down . Thanks for another good lesson

Hi Scottie, Is there any reason to use a water brush instead of an ordinary brush? I am not good at using a water brush, but it would be convenient if I could use it. Do you have any tips?
