In this video I'll show you exactly how to sketch people in a crowd with the correct perspective from the reference voted by you!

Please download the photo reference below as well as the templates to help you when sketching groups of people.

This is the full version of my Youtube/Instagram video that includes the full watercolor process.

Very informative especially about the horizon and the heads being at the same height more or less, thanks Scottie.

As an afterthought, could you perhaps do a sketch of a child at some point please. I think it would be easier to see it marked out especially the way you sketch and explain everything.

I've know for a long time about the heads being in line with the horizon line, but didn't know it changed when looking from lower viewpoints. Bikes are still intimidating, but this demo makes them less so.

Thank you. I’ve watched the tutorial from start to end this evening. Tomorrow I will give it a try. Your reminders for how to lay out the body are especially helpful.

Hi Scottie, thanks for the tutorial, I painted it in preperation for the new tutorial with the crowd. It was very helpful because I have problems with the pespective of people. I understand the horizonline , the heads of the people and that people get smaller towards the back. But my mistake was in the first sketch that I done, that the neighbours of the biker were to small . But I noticed it, because it looks really grazy....thank you so much for all your good tips...
