Hi Scottie, I do struggle sometimes with the little splashes you add on at the end of your paintings, mine tend not to go to the places I want them too. I think it adds great texture, any tips of how to add it successfully will be most welcome. Thanks!

Love love your tutorials! thank you for another great one! Would love to see some examples of drawing and painting people of color, to see what color mixes you might use.

Also, unrelated, but could you do a tutorial on sketching a cat? 😆

I appreciate your tutorials so much! Last year for my 62nd birthday, I decided I wanted to learn to draw. I went through so many good tutorials but never found just the method that worked for me. Your methods work for me. Comparing distances to get correct perspective just works! I have really improved my face sketching skills since finding you. Thank you so much!

This tutorial resulted in my first successful (ish) self portrait EVER. Thank you, sir! I struggled a bit with getting the inner brow and outer nose dots placed just right, then with remembering what part of the nose the dots actually represented (ended up with several "giraffe Johns" 🤣), but once I got that: success. Awesome stuff.

This has been broken down so clearly Scottie, thank you! Do you already have a tutorial on fixing mistakes? I know it would mean making mistakes on purpose, but would be great to know what to do when things go wrong! ☺️

So the portrait I want to sketch is a front view...but...also tilted a little, camera right. Wondering about the dot placement with a tilted head...?
