How to draw this street musician with easy to follow steps using ink and watercolors.

Thanks Karen for his name, BRUNO!! I was really happy with this other than the fact I didn't quite match his facial skin tone as it ended up being a bit lighter after drying. I hope you can follow along with the process! Seated figures are always a challenge 😊.

Bonjour !

Do you find you use your Ultra Micro (0.38mm) more than the Micro (0.5mm)?

Loved doing this one. Think it’s my fav so far 😉

This is your best tutorial so far, imo. The pace was perfect. I just watched it for the first time, making notes of parts I really want to study when I go through it again, while drawing and painting. Your hands! Super. I agree about the white in the beard. I may try scratching it.

To confirm, the pace was perfect, watched it once, then followed a second time with pen and paints. One of the best parts is seeing how you think things through, how you make decisions as you go along, and how don't get all of them right! To sketch/paint is to err! As learners we are always self-critical of our mistakes, whereas you just embrace them and fix them as you go.

I like Bruno, I sketched him several times, such a challenge:seated person, the hands, the Instrument, much fun, more to learn…I find help ! Your tutorial is encouriging… Thank you!

Hi Scottie- Here's my Bruno. He's a bit too squat. I struggle with body proportions especially working on 5 x 7 inch notebook pages. I learned a lot though. Thanks! I posted picture in chat.
