My girlfriend and I went out with Ron and Michelle for dinner and it was an amazing time, we could tell how strong their relationship was. Communication is everything, every relationship will have hardship regardless of how great it can be. In order to grow in a relationship, understanding how to communicate properly with your significant other to find a compromise is a must! But it takes time to develop. I love my girlfriend and what we have for what WE have, I love Ron and Michelle, but everyone’s relationship is their own. Y’all can’t be searching for someone to fit their image of a relationship, y’all have to find someone who’s willing to work with you, and you have to be willing to work with them. Ron and Michelle are great IRL btw, for anyone who’s never had the chance to meet them, Ron and Michelle invited me to lunch when I was new to their city, then invited my girlfriend and I to dinner a few weeks after that. Unfortunately we haven’t been able to link up since then, but this was all before their wedding and travel. Ron and Michelle, y’all are in it for the long run. I have so much faith in both of you, I love how much you two love each other, and I love how good y’all work together. Enjoy the life y’all built for yourselves, keep pushing out amazing content, I will forever be a fan and friend for the way you guys have treated me IRL and the community since day 1. -Vince

Woo! I took a couple's psychology class. This dude goffman said that couples have to learn how to tolerate each other's sides that they don't love. Essentially you're choosing a life-partner whose "bad habits" or parts are things you can tolerate. People are all different, so it's inevitable that there will be some topics/morals, etc. that are different (like you said). Another big thing too is that there is a theory that states how much we love to learn from our partner, to also increase our own awareness. "loving to expand one's self"-But, that will lead to arguments sometimes because you're literally bringing new things into your life. So many positives! and there can be conflict along the way too, but it's about being open, figuring out the heart of the issue (lack of trust, but fighting over a car; arguing about this new purchase, continuous argument about money; etc.). As long as people can think about the issue at hand without feeling too emotional/taking it personal, resolutions are very possible! Thank you for bringing up how conflict is normal, even in your relationship, while keeping the crux of it private. It's a great reminder for people, especially those who have not learned or think it's normal to have conflict and healthy conflict resolution skills. I'd recommend to people Hendrix and Gottman as people to look into and their theories if you're interested in the psychology of a romantic relationship and how to be "successful" :) Love you guys :) Communication & compromise are so key! (Another research finding was that it was a 5:1 ratio of "good" experiences in a relationship compared to bad. Whereas couples that broke up or divorced it was .8:1 and Ron touched upon the concept of love mapping, aiming for the future/changing) lmao and ya, totally agree w/ michelle, on how a big thing is j making sure you're in it with someone who also wants to work on stuff.

I was about to reply the same thing lmao, I think I've spent too much time on Reddit

Totally read as "opened up our relationship"

Been in it for 9 years. Thank God everyday. Coming to it at a young age & from a broken place was hard af but navigating that together has been the most rewarding journey. If one of us is having a moment where we can't contribute our normal we communicate that and let em support. We are both all in, whatever that means on that particular day. We fish we hunt we dirt bike etc cuz it’s wat my man do. Same w me. I know damn well I’d rather be out shopping than out in some place not catching shit for hrs but it’s a good balance bby. lol he said “well you betta learn to love it pumpkin” We know what we aiming for so we both at it hard for that good ol' life out in the country side & he gonna maintain me etc that's why I say it's ideal to date with intention. Having priorities & morals with urself will do some good. Don't be a closed book be open to all his/hers perspectives in all things especially when coming from different backgrounds. Don’t overthink so much shit. As someone dear to me once said “The essence of love is complex. Almost how it would feel to be on rough waters but the right wave shall come by to calm the calamity. Allow it to sway ur heart mind and soul altogether for you both to make shore in harmony. Love is such a sincere gift bestowed upon us, don’t fret it.”

Man I read that as we opened our relationship. I'm like I bet Ron suggested to accommodate a female Orochimaru. Lol kidding guys of course. Ron would never do that.....or would he? 👀

Omg thank god I'm not the only one who read that title wrong 😭

Why did I get emotional watching? What you have is truly very special!!! Listening to you, even in reaction videos, I can feel your energy and it's contagious. I can genuinely find happiness watching you. Thank you for sharing. Love you all!!! <3

Hey guys I’m glad you 2 are doing great it’s been awhile since I’ve watched your videos and reactions :) thx for sharing this <3

I still remember that one reaction during Attack on Titan when you guys said the reaction channel almost ended, and actually refilmed your intro because you and Michelle had a huge fight about always killing her theories and making her feel bad. It made me realize you two were different and this channel was really authentic after you both shared that with us. All I can say is i wish the best for the both of you and watch your mental health. I did see another couples reaction channel implode after a couple years up to a point where they separated and the channel died (kimchi n tofu). The one difference is we had no idea they were going through problems, while you two like to keep it real with us. I just want to say i appreciate the authenticity. Your relationship and living style with Michelle is 100% goals.

I wasn't expecting this content when I joined the patreon lol but so glad I watched. Never been in a relationship but I really resonated with what Ron said about working on yourself and letting love find you, although yes it is cliche. I always thought that love isn't always sunshine and rainbows and alot of it is being committed to grow together but it's so comforting to here that from you guys. I kinda laughed when Michelle said you have to go through the valleys to experience the peaks, because thats the same pitch I use to get people to watch One Piece xD. One Piece fans confirmed the best partners out there.
