Best episode rn with the 2nd hokage glazing Naruto

victoria t

Not split by good and evil. It was split via Yin and Yang halves. They didn’t really cover it well

Ghost

I swear Ron needs an IQ test something has to be wrong

EiD Reborn

Anyone can help me watch patreon videos via fire tv stick ?

Mr. Man In Black

Minato didn’t just die, his metaphysical self was sealed inside the Shinigami along with the half of Kurama.

Saith D. Uchiha

Naruto is my favorite anime I don’t think it’s the best but it’s my #1. Get your brain ready the plot gets very complicated/crazy in these last few episodes.

Lee

You should do a live video where you ask questions and doubts you have and the viewers answers them.

DMONEY420

When the 4th took half of the 9 tails Chakra,he was bitter and mad. Naruto opened up the 9 tails heart and thats how it's light and darkness.

Nas Young

Minato split them up the day he died he sealed half inside of him first then Naruto

envy

y’all so mean😭

envy

just in time for lunchh 😋

MattMobs

I’m like Michelle dude just stfu n watch 😂😂

Brandocommando

THE OPENING IN THIS EPISODE IS A BANGER 🔥

Justin Walkins

Naruto's was born on October 10th you guys!

Jorge Mejia

It’s not evil and good, in the end the tailed beasts are chakra very powerful chakra therefore you know chakra can be split, it’s just a matter of how strong the shinobi is and what jutsu they’re using and how powerful it is as well & The reaper doesn’t mean it’s Death to whatever is being sealed. The death reaper seal is a SEAL meaning it’s not dying it’s just caged up somewhere in this case it’s in the belly of the reaper the only thing that dies is the user who summons the reaper because their soul is sealed in the belly of the reaper. Oh and by the way the reaper death seal has already been shown and explained but I can see how hard it would be to keep track of things considering you guys watch a lot of other shows as well . Valid questions to ask but yeah def have already been answered lol

Martin G

At this point, I'm just waiting for THE fight... 🍃🍂

Nas Young

They didn’t explain this early on but the soul and body are dead it’s their chakra that reanimates them, chakra is a connection between the physical and spiritual worlds

Nas Young

Idk how or why or maybe don’t remember

Khid Kilo

Minato just sealed half the nine tails with him and gave the other half to Naruto and all tailed beast are made up chakra

Sisca

one thing I never got is how does Minato have KCM? did he gain control of Kurama chakra sometime after reanimation?

Heliceo

Day 14 asking them to react to Naruto's 20th anniversary video after finishing Shippuden and reacting to all openings.

Fatguyatwork26 .

W reaction i have a question tho will u guys watch some of the naruto shippuden movies ? there’s a couple with some minato and naruto scenes in there

Heliceo

It's more like reaper death seal doesn't kill you, but seals you away with the thing you seal, so Minato sealed himself with a half of the nine tails, that's the reason no hokage couldve been revived via edo tensei, their souls were sealed so not available

Tacosareneat

Remember Minato didn't just die, he was sealed in the reaper. If he just died, then yes you're right, the kurama half would've been released. Also, there is no good/evil half of kurama. It's yin/yang. Yamato briefly touches on yin and yang chakra when naruto is doing rasenshuriken training.

Nǐçķ

The other half didn’t die, it was seal. I was gonna use an example for jjk as to when gojo was seal in the cube is kinda the same thing

Jannes The Gorg

btw kuramas voice actor just retired. He is 76 years old and has done TONS of projects, All dragonballs, even one piece, akira and MUCH much more.

Justin Walkins

The Reaper seals the entity that uses it along with whomever its used on, inside of it's belly in what is essentially Hell. Kurama and all the tailed beasts are basically giant masses of chakra in the shape of a creature so they can be split the same way the 10 tails was divided.

Saith D. Uchiha

hiruzen saved Naruto like that because Minato was there and he didn’t want to say “I didn’t just throw your kid in the projects and give him only Ramen to eat. I promise Minato please don’t hurt me”

Heliceo

Also, Naruto's birthday was last week, october 10th

Saith D. Uchiha

All those shriveled up Shinobi are 100% dead.

Dominic Robinson

Tell me you haven’t watched the show without telling me you haven’t watched the show. Naruto has questioned his own character time and time again. His optimism is his pride. He pushes forward with confidence that things will work out somehow. To others looking it can be naive but to him it’s necessary to make change occur. As for Minato you’re expecting every person to handled and react the way you think it should. Minato was a young prodigy and as we’ve seen with every prodigy in this show they have immense responsibilities thrown upon them. Minato has time and time again displayed how much he is able to read into situations. As the Hokage he has to make calm and collected decisions and sometimes that means putting up a front to show others that everything will be okay. All in all I think your either not really watching the show or your just in a dark place mentally either way I hope you are okay

Tomás

To answer your question about how Kurama was split: he was split by Minato when he used the Reaper Death Seal. The Reaper Death seal seals away a target inside the body of the jutsu caster, and the jutsu caster gets sealed in the belly of the Reaper. In the scene where Minato and Kushina died, Minato explained that it was impossible to seal away all of Kurama because the amount of chakra was so massive. So when Minato cast the Reaper Death Seal, he intended to seal away Kurama, but he knew he could only seal away a portion of Kurama. So, that is how half of Kurama ended up inside Minato. When Minato completed the Reaper Death Seal, Hiruzen noted that the size of Kurama shrank. When he shrank, Kushina's sealing chains became loose (because Kurama shrank), and that's how he was able to move to try to kill Naruto (which Minato and Kushina blocked).

Chris

I never took it to be that he split the light and dark sides of Kurama, I just understood it to be that Naruto had enough time with Kurama that he wore down and won over the half that was inside him, turning him from dark to light. Buuuut, It’s entirely possible that I totally misunderstood or missed something, and am way off the mark 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

Dominic Robinson

As for the flying rajin. Again Minato has immense natural talent along with knowing the Uzumaki sealing techniques. The flying rajin Justu has been explained a few times on how it works. There are not many people who can even do it nor people who have experimented with it. Even when Naruto was teleporting other people he wasn’t even sure it would work and turned to Minato to basically ask. Again a testimony to Naruto ability to think about the positive and move forward. Obviously he is the main character so like many other anime he’s going to have some things that don’t make sense on how fast they turn out.

Asvin Seneviratne

Minato didnt die normally. Him and kurama were sealed away by the reaper death seal. So you are correct, if a jinchuriki dies, the beast is released. But this was different. They were sealed away. Now they came back because the seal was undone.

Jannes The Gorg

i realized a big plot hole here. I dont remember this episode at all when i first watched the show. But it clearly shows how much chakra the whole fistbump thing took. It showed us how much chakra both naruto and kuramas full version has. So with the reanimated hokages. They have infinite chakra right? So does every single reanimated person we have seen aswell. Like how itachi was spamming his susanoo against nagato and kabuto. So why doesnt tobirama just create like 10k clones and have them all do a super flyinf raijin whatever jutsu? or minato? They have infinite chakra and shadow clones are only a forbidden jutsu due to it depleting a lot of your chakra and has a big chance to kill someone with lower chakra pools like kakashi (og naruto) Someone like kakashi can only create like 2 shadow clones due to his sharingan depleting. But now that the hokages are here with infinite chakra, the "forbiddeess" of the shadow clone jutsu does not apply to them whatsoever... Tell me if im right or wrong. This is just a theory though.

MajinVegeta420

had to pause at 8:30 to answer your question. i know it was AGES ago but if i remember correctly when 3rd hokage tried to seal orochimaru with the reaper death seal he explained how it works and said that whatever/whoevers souls are sealed away with it are trapped in the belly of the reaper forever never to rest in peace and to be in ceaseless combat until the end of time

SadLeche

My home was broken into during the hurricane in FL and I appreciate your reactions for helping me take my mind off the stress.

Spunkbutter

All of your questions will be answered in due time lol trust me

Zzenitsu

they used "tamed" in a previous episode.

Tomás

When things get sealed away, think of them being put inside a bottle and closing the lid. When Minato used the Reaper Death Seal, "Dark" Kurama was put inside a bottle, and that bottle was Minato's body. But then, Minato himself was sealed away in the Reaper's belly. So Minato was placed in a bottle and the bottle was the Reaper's belly. So this entire time, "dark kurama" was inside a bottle that was inside another bottle. Even though Minato died, "Dark" Kurama was still inside the bigger bottle - The Reaper's belly. So his chakra cannot escape, allowing him to re-emerge. Typically, a Jinchuriki's body is the bottle. When they die, the bottle breaks and the beast's chakra escapes, allowing them to re-emerge. But in Minato's case, the bottle broke. But that bottle was inside another bottle. So Kurama's chakra could not escape.

Montanna Roberts

Their inherit chakra limits weren’t increased. Its just infinitely regenerative stamina and chakra.

ricoo

I believe the “dark and light” kurama thing was just an artistic or poetic choice that kishimoto made by incorporating the “yin and yang” into naruto and his father’s similar powers. If there really is a cannon reason for this it’s was probably in the light novels that only the true naruto geeks would know. All that’s clear is that minato split kurama chakra in two and sealed the other half inside him cause there weren’t any other hosts. Maybe because it was too much for him to seal it all in naruto or maybe naruto couldn’t handle the full chakra of a tailed beast as a baby.

RikudoRyan

It's not light and evil, it's yin and yang chakra is what people are talking about. Tailed beasts are made up of 2 types of chakra, yin chakra and yang chakra, and minato was able to split his chakra because he sealed one type inside naruto and one type inside himself.

Secretly

I know a few comments answered but they are long af. The reaper death seal seals the spirit in the belly of the reaper, so it's not a normal death but a seal. If it were a normal death than yeah it would regenerate.

Scar

Ron I understand why you want to humanize 10 tails since all the other tailed beasts have shown personality, but so far the show hasn't given any indication that the 10 tails is interactive, even after Obito absorbed it. So for now how about just keeping that thought as a theory and not keep hammering at it when up to this point the show has given you zero indication of that theory. What we know up to this point is 10 tails is nothing but divine power.

Secretly

The thing about using the argument that we've never seen anyone do that is a bit strange, because now that we've been introduced to the 4 Kages, we've basically been introduced to 4 of not only the strongest, but most skilled shinobis to have ever lived. The Uzumaki clan had some of the strongest sealing jutsus in the world, and Minato inherited them from Kushina's mother (she told Naruto). Also, if you are specifically speaking of never seeing good and evil, think waterfall of truth where there were 2 Narutos, basically a very similar thing here.

Hello

Tailed best are basically just chakra beasts so he just sealed half the nine tails chakra in him and half in Naruto.

Mesia William

can't wait to see u guys reaction to the openings and endings.

Hello

They're basically just chakra that was given beast form

Enis Bedzeti

10 tails dont have emotion so thets why he can ve controlet by obito, ofc you must musterade hes power but is not like kurama or the others with emotion and personality, 10 teils dosnt have

J y N x

michelle trying not laugh while ron telling chat “you can call me dumb”😭😂😂😂

Dominic Robinson

Hey Ron so wait until the story is told 😂not much else I can say. Ever since the AC incident you’ve been too intellectually involved 😂

Mesia William

it's like drinking water in a cup that's get refilled but doesn't mean the cup can hold a tank worth of water, so technically u do have infinite chackra but u still cup and u can only hold amount water only a cup can at a time.

Seamus Lennon

And now we have left Naruto… and entered Boruto.

Laxzeus

For the splitting in a half and sealing thing it might help to think of how orochimaru had just his arms sealed away by the third. That shows you can seal a piece of something rather than the whole thing and also when he resurrected he still didn't have his arms, so that shows once sealed they stay sealed until the seal is released.

MajinVegeta420

Yes when all of our chakra is gone you die. thats why kakashi died in the pain arc

Mauricio Vidrio

Kakashi did like 100 shadow clones in og naruto right after fighting Zabuza. And Itachi was able to do that because of Kotoamatsukami. Which let him become a free reanimation. Same thing with madara. He's a free reanimation now so he's able to spam anything

Kevin Michael

I love and hate Wednesdays. Love the naruto, hate i have to wait till monday for more

Gyt

Wym they finished both ss and it’s on patreon

Nǐçķ

Really ? I must of missed it cuz I check and didn’t see it, thank you

Filip Kasan

Ron i have to tell you u are not dumb, show just dont tell every little detail as used to at first episodes. Many information are scatred across multiple episodes and remember them all is just not possible, that is why its fun when u rewatch Naruto after some time. U find many details u missed in first run. I recommend after u finish Naruto watch some videos of NC Hammer 23 he is youtuber who watched and read Naruto many times and whole his channel is about explaining Narutoverse.

Raheem Mcdermott

Bro these last few episodes Michelle's been dying lmao. She looks so over your questions.

Cyron Ian

Kurama is pretty much got split Yin and Yang.

Ahkenaton Furdge

Ron, kurama was trapped inside minato inside the reaper death seal. That was the reason minato used the reaper seal instead of just stabbing himselfl with a kunai. Orochimaru cut open the stomach of the reaper before he reanimated the hokage. Naruto also could sense them coming , along with kurama's chakra. tailed beast can only escape a jinchiriki if they're extremely weak or incompatible.

Davon Paradise

1) To your first question, Minato never split up the "evil & good" parts of Kurama, it's more of a yin/yang thing that means nothing other than Kurama was split up and the one in Naruto has 15+ years of growth over the one that was in Minato 2) The Reaper Death Seal doesn't kill, it seals. So rather than the Bijuu chakra replenishing somewhere else Kurama was also sealed along with Minato, but their souls are still contained in the reapers stomach! This is the reason as to why Kabuto couldn't bring back the previous Hokage, they were all in the reapers stomach along with Orochimaru' hands & only Oro knew how to reverse the sealing Jutsu. 3) You've heard about a being splitting a beast into many pieces! The Sage of Six paths was said to create all of the 9 tailed beasts from the 10 tails, consider it similar (even though it isn't but you'll learn more about the sage of course) I hope this helps, looking forward to the rest of your reactions!

Vader

That black thing sure is solid

GameGod

If you rewatch naruto, I recommend dub. Not that it's better or worse than sub, but simply because you will catch more things listening to it happen in english vs having those episodes with information dumps that you read and may not remember all the way.

RedEyeItachi

Minato didn’t split the good and bad he split the Yin from the Yang which most people interpret as good and bad. There r 8 chakra natures in Naruto. 5 Elemental type, wind water, earth, fire, and lightning. There is 3 more which r Yin release which is spiritual chakra an example is Genjutsu, Nara clans shadow possession, Dans ghost possession, ions mind transfer, ect. Yang release which is use of your physical chakra to create physical objects like clones, transformations, ect. Lastly is yinyang which is applying both spiritual and physical to create anything from your imagination and give it physical form. Everyone is born with physical and spiritual chakra. Some have more spiritual than others ie: the uchiha and some have more physical chakra than others ie: the senju.

Yaroslav Nikonov

That was regular ass “image”clones, not shadow clones. Kakashi said at that moment I’m gonna full these idiots with little chakra I have left.

Hendra

Next week is gonna sick!!!!!!

Hendra

Make sure next week is gonna be triple drop in both monday and wednesday

Hendra

She just want to enjoy the show without overthink many theories hahaha i feel it everytime Ron paused the show

Kayso

So this episode is called "The Day Naruto Was Born" it's the anniversary of Minato and Kushina death and also ofc Naruto's birthday. Fun fact he was born October 10th which ironically was last week. Ron you aren't dumb at all. Like you said this is how you are and how your brain is. Some people come at you for overthinking. For me personally it's not that deep, I won't throw insults and be rude cooking you in the comments lol if I do I'm ofc joking. But yeah that's the fun of reactions to get other people's perspectives. Another tip feel free to watch dub or rewatch dub same for FMAB, you'll catch things much easier if you forgot something. If you wanna rewatch Naruto or some scenes do dub

Isaac Lee

Ron just think of it as ying and yang

LelouchFam

Ron every time you try to think more into something so simple you are missing one key... Kurama, both halves... are not living breathing organisms they are pure chakra given form. "is kurama just staring at the ground while minato is dead?" No because HE IS CHAKRA, and his chakra was sealed with minatos soul. It’s not like there is some shrunken fox inside of narutos stomach seal. The tailed beasts body is just chakra made solid, so when they are sealed they lose the solid form and go back to being chakra. btw yin and yang does not mean good vs evil, it just means to opposite sides of a whole, it just means both halves of chakra represent different aspects of what makes kurama. Dont think to deep into this man😂

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

What happens next week, say it in code hahah but they aren't reading this so you can just say it

Crusito96

The tree is the original form and since it comes out as the 10 tails BEAST it’s final form is it’s original

FuegoQuis

As I watch this back I'm starting to realize how much Sasuke was shocked and jealous by how powerful Naruto is lmao.

Davíd Heming

Hey Ron, 👋🏽 Think of the Reaper Death Seal as more of a Purgatory. Its a space in-between life and death. You’re not Dead. But you’re also not Alive and living. A person sealed doesnt really “move on” into the afterlife. Theyre more just stagnant, held in place. Because they are trapped in the Sealing Jutsu. A Sealing Jutsu doesnt kill a person. It traps them. I hope this helps. 🤓 Also Im pretty sure in the episode when Minato casts it. You see him split Kurama and take half into himself. Then place the other half in Naruto. As for how he manages to split it half and half between good and evil. I believe the caster of the jutsu gets complete control over what he decides to take with them.

Ahkenaton Furdge

Also, the boruto show goes into the otsuski family. the ending of naruto does great in setting the stage for Boruto:Naruto next generations!

Ahkenaton Furdge

Not a spoiler bud! I don’t do spoilers. OG crow here. They also don’t read Patreon or YouTube comments for Naruto’s. The mods give them a summary of what’s said

Okasian🫡

I’m gonna need you to lock in the upcoming episode

prince ramos

Sometimes you don't need to overthink everything happening because it will all be seen as episodes past lol please

Aaron williams

It’s not a spoiler it’s actually common sense lol it’s not hard to deduce since his name is literally Naruto with a B. They know boruto is Naruto’s son. But that all they know about the show

Aaron williams

Yeah minato literally says from his own mouth they he was taking half

Aaron williams

Actually Ron you did see them split something in half using reaper death seal. Lord 3rd took orochimaru’s arms which he spent the whole series trying to get back.

Kenny

I never realized how biblical the origin of shinobi and chakra was until rewatching it right now lol. The tree, the fruit of life and knowledge, the woman eating the “forbidden fruit” and then all of humanity being cursed ever since. And then the prophet/sage born as a savior to cleanse our sins of consuming the forbidden fruit. Buy even after the the threat being suppressed by tue sage if six paths we continue to live as a cursed species in a cycle of war and hated and revenge being able to wield the power of chakra. Wild.

Christian Diaz

Can’t wait for some more lore you guys will love it

Aaron williams

In this case I think Ron confusing himself lol I wouldn’t even think it’s yin and yang as the people in the comments say. One half of kurama has watched Naruto grow up and knows him the other half is still the same kurama but he only knows minato. Kurama was the way he was because of the ninja’s before that used him as a weapon. Naruto most of the series didn’t even know he had a name. The version of kurama inside of minato is the one who isn’t changed by Naruto. He’s not evil or dark in this context

Rinnegod

Answering some of your questions (NO SPOILERS) How did Minato split the good and evil Kurama? It's complicated but bear with me, there is no Evil or Good Kurama. Yin and yang are just representations of dualities and used describing things that need to exist for balance. It's not exactly meaning one side is evil and one isn't. here's a quote from a reddit thread that kinda explains more: Yin/Yang in this series has nothing to do with good and evil, it has to do with spirit/physical energy. Kurama in general was evil it’s not like he has an evil side and a good side. He just has yin-yang chakra and Minato separated them. Naruto has the Yang Kurama which is why when he fights the Zetsus they turn into trees they’re reacting to the Yang chakra. Or why he can sense hostility/negative power. If Minato died doesn't Kurama also die, so how? Just remember that a chakra plane exists we've seen Kushina and Minato in them, remember they sealed their chakra inside Naruto to appear later, since the reaper death seal takes peoples SOULS, Minato took a Kurama half, sealed it inside himself then his own soul was taken by the death god. It's very confusing I know haha but more will be explained later! Reaper death seal is weird but to put it simply to understand it's as if the physical body of the soul dies but the soul does not, just sealed away in reapers stomach. Tree Relationship? More of this will be explained just hang in there! I HIGHLY recommend watching the upcoming "filler" TONS of lore that will explain even more. Mods will know what i am referring to!

Rinnegod

hmm it depends, while yes they know of Boruto's existence, they don't know the plot or what it will be exploring. I would consider it a soft spoiler. Let them find out what it's about on their own I say.

HugeAC

They didn't say anything about the tree becoming whole again, madara said when the tree blooms, and the scene cuts to an eye on top of the tree-stalk and madara says that that eye would look upon the moon thus engaging the project tsuki-no me which is the genjutsu on the world

Run Jaid

Anything that Minato does not have to make sense haha. And Ron, you thoughts are absolutely valid

Ken Villanueva

There's no light and dark version of Kurama in the first place. It's just Naruto tamed the half that's inside of him. Remember, Bijus are hatred.

Langdon

Peak after peak

Andretti

Ron all your questions about the 10 tails and divine tree will be answered in some upcoming filler about its origin. Hope you guys watch those backstory fillers 🤞🏼

Rob

"I was even thinking about reading the manga !" Omg yes, great idea Ron ! While watching the show is a very long run, reading the manga can be done pretty quickly and this will certainly get you to "know everything" about Naruto, since you wish you could.

The CulturedGentleman

Ron do not listen to all the BS explanations about the 9tails in Minato. That’s a huge RetCon in this show to explain minato coming back and able to fight with the other Kage at this level. Also make the story play out the way they want it to. That’s the way Naruto is written. It wasn’t planned out. It’s make up as you go along. Any explanation is just a convenient way to try to make it believable and pass off as valid.

AK

To answer your question at the beginning: 1. Believe no explicit mention of how Minato split up Yin (dark) and Yang (light). (Again Yin doesn’t mean it’s evil); 2. Reaper seal - there is a mention that whoever uses the reaper to seal something, that person’s soul and sealed soul will battle in eternity after death (not released) - so you can imagine Minato and Kurama Yin’s souls have been battling until Reaper seal is undone which is also a possible explanation to why he can use Kurama mode straight away after re-animation. He must’ve somehow tamed Yin side of Kurama during that time.

Revolution To Evolution

14:06 my reaction was both of them, Obitch-to needs to be ran over. PERIOD

Aaron williams

I think the reason the tree isn’t ravenous like it was in the past is because it didn’t full absorb the 8 and 9 tails. That’s my theory because if you notice it’s just a flower the top instead of a full tree like it used to be so it can be controlled. They only took a little bit of those tailed beast to get it into this form so logically that makes the most sense.

botanbutton

Ahhh, so you're not able to "suspend your disbelief", Ron. Which makes sense if you didn't read a lot of fantasy and the like. You're very literal in your thinking, which is not a bad thing, but it can hinder you when it comes to media. It's okay though, because then you can offer a different perspective on stuff that folks never thought to question. Even if it's a silly thought or question, I think it's still worth asking, thinking about and discussing. Sometimes, my whole view of a work of media can change with those kinds of questions & discussions and it enriches my experience in the long run. 😊 Also, just so you know what I mean when I say, "suspend your disbelief": "Suspension of disbelief is the avoidance—often described as willing—of critical thinking and logic in understanding something that is unreal or impossible in reality, such as something in a work of speculative fiction, in order to believe it for the sake of enjoying its narrative."

kkloyd

We actually saw already how minato split consciousness of himself and kushina with chakra inside Naruto Funny when I remember it that Naruto had 3 souls inside:)

Chris Bearden

Honestly with the beginning I don’t understand the yin n yang stuff and evil side with Minato and good with Naruto. 9 tails was always filled with hatred we’ve known that. So obviously when minato sealed half in him he was dead so the 9 in him always stayed the same(filled with hate). Meanwhile we’ve seen Naruto little by little in the show change kurama and heal all the hatred the 9 tails had so that’s why Naruto’s isn’t. That’s my take on it.

Geo

Still a soft spoiler bud

The CulturedGentleman

Ron, that’s actually a really Valid reasoning about the Tree and Obito! It makes perfect sense dude…unfortunately I can’t say anymore but keep that reasoning in the back of your mind for the rest of the anime.

Mai Soua Xiong

They mentioned in previous episodes that the Sage of the 6 paths was the 1st Jinchuriki & he was the 10 tails Jinchuriki. Which means, he defeated it by sealing it within him. When the tailed beasts were all talking to Naruto previously, I think they mentioned to him that when the Sage died, he split the 10 tails which in turn became the 9 tailed beasts & he bid them farewell (remember the little kurama scene). He had to split it into the tailed beasts bc if he died, the 10 tails would have been released/reborn and wreak havoc once again. This is known bc it's been mentioned previously that tailed beasts do not die/disappear forever since they are chakra themselves & they will always come back which the Sage didn't want to happen to the 10 tails. Henceforth, splitting it into the 9 tailed beasts.

ALTOZE

damn Ron’s yapping is god tier 😮‍💨😂🤣

LuvStarburst

How hard is it to understand that yin and yang of the 9 tails was sealed.

LuvStarburst

For all of us fans that had to wait week after week for an episode i can't believe we retain information better than Ron

Mary Fuller

I think a lot of people misunderstand yin and yang. It's not evil and good, it's just dark and light, not an inherent morality

Mary Fuller

Yeah I'm with Michelle on this one. Ron you're curious and I love that you're always asking questions on the story, it shows you're really invested. But just sometimes you do seem hyper focused on really small details or an off hand comment by a character that's not important in the grand scheme of things. Sometimes you have to remember it's an alternative universe with different rules and explanations so some things just won't line up as we understand it in the real world.

Cory Bellows

LMFAO he is who makes up the six sages. im dead

Cory Bellows

The reaper death seal is the jutsu minato used. just like when the 3rd hokage used it on orochimaru only to seal his arms. I think it makes sense to say that you can choose what part you want to seal. If that makes sense. Hope that helps ron!

dmc 1219

There's a lot going on right now, your confusion is valid

Captain Usopp aka God Usopp

i think reaper death seal is death by seal means the soul "suspended" not going to afterlife of whatever so..its more like jail for soul, its kinda alive but without physical body.

Moi Glasya

Ron, I love how you theorize everything and looking into details but always remember that this is anime and possibilities are almost infinite that are not applied in real world.

Raventerrace

Ron overthink so much bro got me overthinking too god damn🤣🤣🤣 all your questions will be answered soon enough Ron

envy

it kinda is a spoiler tho… like when I started boruto, i was not expecting them to show up in the story again or be a big part of the plot.

Juan Vega

Sir leave it in the intro please 😩😂

Bayu aShiddiq

hagoromo can seperate ffrom juubi to 9 tails

Rolando Perez

fav reactors for shippude Forsure, always a great night when I get to watch yall before bed 💯

John L

Don’t overthink, it’s a 20yrs show. That’s the common problems with shows that broadcasted in years

Sam Al

wym?? Minato having half of 9tail is as been established since the beginning lol

The Strawhatbranz

In reference to your question at 3:09 , and what I’m about to say is not, “this is what happened”. This is just my thought. I think Minato being married to Kushina who is an Uzumaki who was a renowned sealing jutsu clan, I assume he must’ve studied their scrolls much like how Orochimaru said he did and must’ve learnt it there but the anime just didn’t go into detail about him learning it or even doing it. Idk. But don’t overthink every single detail bro. Keep the details in mind, but don’t overthink it.

Blu3

Michelle said “soul” I thought of that show hoping they react to soon lmao

Izzy

It’s not a good and bad half of kurama it’s splitting his chakra into yin and yang, as that is what all chakra is made of, yin and yang, mental energy and physical energy. This is my understanding of the situation

King Kai

Sorry bro, to answer your questions in the beginning, boss, “your trying to make sense of an anime. And if anyone try to make you think that they’re the sage of anime knowledge, they’re delusional. Naruto has many actions that contradict each other. Sometime it’s better just to take the story as given in face value. But also bro, your Qanon theories gives me the giggles. One of the reason I enjoy watching your duo.

DeMarko Neely

Just think of it as “sealing” as far as the other half of Kurama. Much like Hiruzen (3rd Hokage) sealed Orochimaru’s hands, Minato sealed away half of Kurama’s chakra.

LuvStarburst

He does watch a lot of anime for the channel so I get why information gets lost cause they try to remember so much.

The Strawhatbranz

Although true, there is a lot of us who watch many anime at the same time and a lot of people do manage to keep all the info in check lol but everyone is different so understandable

Hiro

I'd like to add that this isn't just an anime issue though. Lot's of shows have inconsistencies and plot holes, but a show like Naruto is def more prone to it with all of the complex powers and just the sheer amount of story there is.

adan blas

Minato sealed half of the ninetales chakra in him and half in Naruto. The moment a tailed beast is sealed into a jinchuriki it loses it’s physical form and becomes a beast of chakra. It’s conscious manifests itself as chakra which is why there are two ninetales.

Hiro

They def do forget plenty though and sometimes it is painfully obvious. I wish they didn't spread themselves so thin and just commit to watching like 3 shows at most. Would also allow them to finish shows at a much nicer pace.

The CulturedGentleman

No. Madara did state that the 10 tails isn’t lacking in power. So I don’t expect the tree would be lacking in power either. I think it’s cause he’s still the jinchuriki of the 10 tails since this tree is also one of its many forms

Aaron williams

Sorry I should have clarified but I’m not think power so much as an aspect of personality the 8th tails is really carefree just like killer b is but the 9 tails is very ferocious and aggressive to an extreme the carefree nature (or free spirited nature) of 8 tails would make it want to resist the control of others while the 9 tails would make it be more vicious and also selfish

DeepSeaClams

Ron if nobody has explained it, here is my take. Kurama was evil. There is no light and dark side. When kurama was split, part went into naruto and the other into Minato. Overtime the kurama inside naruto is convinced to be good. The kurama and minato also formed their own bond. We know this because you cannot go into kyubi mode without being in sync with the beast. Usually when a Jinjuriki dies the human soul goes to the afterlife and the tailed beast who is pure chakra is reformed here on earth. BUT in Minatos case he and Kurama never went to the Afterlife because they were stuck inside the reaper.

dadadada

it's an anime/manga, the rules are whatever the creator manga wants it to be. :D you are thinking about the tailed beasts as humans like Naruto etc. they are not, they are like chakra beings

Shairur Afif

Your questions about whats the relation of obito and the tree will be answered in time. Keep watching

The CulturedGentleman

Minato reviving with 9tails Kurama under control is a huge plot hole. If he’s been sealed away, the 9 tails inside of him should just be regular fox spirit that’s not tamed because Minato was never its jinchuriki. It should be just like kurama inside kid Naruto since it clearly has its own personality and all. Instead, Minato magically has the same abilities as Naruto who has had to train for YEARS to achieve.

Nexhi

Minato was trapped with other kurama in the reaper death seal. Maybe he won their tug of war in there? not necessary a plothole imo. Gives room for speculation.

The CulturedGentleman

That makes absolutely no sense. You are telling me Minato and the 9tails, which should just be a physical manifestation of chakra btw, was still conscious inside of the reaper? You do know that being able to summon the reaper and get back stuff that’s been sealed is the biggest retcon of all, right? In order to make Madara/Obito even stronger than they are, things like these were created. You really should check out how Naruto was made and ul see that there was literally no planning ahead for this ending. I’ll give them all props tho for how it turned out.

fp rider

In asian culture there's the concept of ying and yang. Every being has these two. I don't think they are related just to good and bad. Besides, when you use the death seal your soul is kept inside the demon's stomach, so minato is not just dead his soul is sealed inside the reaper. Half of kurama is with him because he used the death reaper jutsu to split kurama's soul. Like the third Hokage did with orochimaru, taking just his arms. After that, minato sealed half of kurama's soul inside him with the eight trigrams seal as he did with naruto. But the eight trigrams seals the beast with the Jinchuuriki's soul and not just within the body. That's why kurama was not released when minato died. Hope I could help somehow!

Jordan

The reaper death seal as explained in the og naruto is that the ones sealed in there fight for Eternity to Minato and Kurama would’ve been fighting that whole time.. and grandpa 3rd was fighting Orochimarus arms.. the first and second hokage. Also minato sealed kurama into himself, not into the shinigami like hiruzen did

Sy

Ron pauses when he’s in the middle of talking hella. I mean like when he’s actually talking he takes these 2 to 4 second pauses all da time like sheesh lol. His own girl don’t talk that slow

美優 森川

Kushina's voice actor also passed away.

Hobbz

@The CulturedGentlemen - Except Naruto's training was because Kurama was actively opposing Naruto. Naruto had to "fight" him to subdue him and take his chakra forcibly. It's very reasonable to assume that the half inside Minato sees the situation with Madara, Obito and Naruto, realises the implications of not helping and freely gives Minato his chakra. Also just an FYI this is the episode that it's revealed the 2nd created Shadow Clones. It wasn't a major spoiler you did, but just wanted to point it out for your own knowledge. It definitely wasn't already revealed when you mentioned it on a previous upload (and the previous upload was when we learned Flying Raijin was also the 2nd's).

Ggeko

The splitting the tail beast "good and bad side" i dont know. First time ive heard someone say that, and ive watched the show 5 or more times. Beasts ARE esentially chakra alone, so you can split them, or seal part of them, just as Hiruzen (third hokage), took Orochimaru's "chakra" from his arms, reventing him from using jutsu ever again, or the fact that kuramas chakra is not only in naruto, but in multiple characters throughout the series, like ginkaku and kinkaku.- The good and bad side, id assume its a confusion from Minato's kurama, when he sais: "to sweet talk my other side" or whatever, but i always thought that kurama was always mostly evil because of his resentment towards humans, and its through viewing the world from naruto's side that he makes up with humanity, but the side thats in Minato does not understand why its other half would make that choice? And the "if a jinjuriki dies then the tail beast spawns again" is mostly true, but in kuramas case he got sealed in the reaper death seal, so the "soul" cant scape unless the seal is undone, just as the hokage couldnt be brought back because of it, so kurama couldnt re-appear.

Johnathon Sedillo

Here, let me help you make more sense of this with questions. Minato sealed half of Kurama inside of himself using the reaper death seal right? So what's the difference between that and sealing the other half within naruto? Well there really isn't. You might think that well the physical body is where the 9 tails conscience should be right? Well he doesn't have one since he was sealed within naruto so why would it be different with Minato? It's not exactly explained so we can only assume that tailed beasts or even anyone with chakra can do this if there is an adequate amount of chakra to form a conscience. It all comes down to chakra and whether it's strong enough. I hope that helps looking at it that way!

George Florea

Îs the principal of ying and yang ,ying have a bit of yang and yand a bit of ying is balance. Is buddist principal

Ggeko

If we explained why the devine tree is "final form", that would actually be Boruto level spoiler. For now (spoilerless), lets say that ten tails is the incomplete version of the divine tree, seeking to harvest all the chakra in the world (its where it came from, thats what it is), and once it does, it blooms and a fruit apears. The existance of this fruit is the sole purpouse of the tree existing, and thats why its called the final form, because it has all the chakra in the world and can provide its ulitmate objective, the fruit. In Naruto Shippuden terms, its the final form because it can cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi, which means world destruction / inconditional control over anyone by its caster; thats the reason Obito is not being targeted but Madara is, because Obito is the one trying to cast the genjutsu and controling the tree at the moment. Plus Obito is the ten tails jinjuriki, so the ten tails has already connected to Obito's chakra and they are "the same being", more or less. Anyway, you know how people told you that you have to take Boruto as a separated show from Naruto? that because due to author changing, there were some major plot holes or, lets say, incompatibilities as to how ten tails and devine trees work, and the whole Boruto plot revolves around ten tails working diferent as to how it was belived in naruto shippuden, its comlicated. So if you ask someone who has watched Boruto vs Naruto-only, they might have diferent answers.

ArcheTypeNightcore

Souls that are sealed with Death Reaper can't go to the afterlife they stay inside the reaper, that's why before Kabuto said that he couldn't bring the 4 hokages back as reanimations because their souls are in a different plain/dimension whatever you wanna call it. But of course Orochimaru had an answer for that as well.

The CulturedGentleman

Ok so now we just randomly assume bullsh*t is that it? Imagine kurama before and tell me if that creature would willfully allow ANYONE to use him, especially the guy who split him in two and forced him back into another jail for a period of time. Best case scenario I see happening is if upon reanimation, he senses his other half inside of Naruto and DEMANDS Minato allow Naruto to take back that half so he can be whole again. Minato wouldn’t die since he’s reanimated and it’s highly unlikely 9tails trusts Minato. That’s a far more logical 9tails move

The CulturedGentleman

Also, if u go back, Ron said someone DM him that info. So it wasn’t from comments he got that info.

Ty

Minato used the Reaper Death Seal to cut the Nine-Tails power in half, rendering it weak enough to be sealed into Naruto. This allowed him to choose which half of Kuramas chakra to seal into infant Naruto, effectively making Naruto the new Jinchuriki. The tailed beasts are actually chakra beings. If you’re confused then go back and watch the episode of Minato and Kushinas death. You were probably not paying attention to the littlest details. You guys will learn more throughout the war arc and you will learn more about the Otsusukis and the Divine Tree in Boruto.

ArcheTypeNightcore

You clearly don't know what you're talking about, i dunno why the rest of ppl are bothering with explaining it to you.

Jonny

Guys this is where you need your mods to guide you. Minato is a Jinchuriki. He became a Jinchuriki the moment he sealed one half of the chakra of the 9tails inside him. That's how he is able to use the 9tails. They actually explicitly showed him splitting the chakra in two in episode 250. Please watch that again. And when you are sealed by the Reaper they specifically said you are just trapped inside its belly. So not dead...your soul is just trapped in there forever

Jonny

Go back and read the lore on the Reaper. You are literally in the belly of that thing fighting the one you sealed forever. He and that half were likely fighting in there for the past 16 years. That's how that worked. Not a plothole. There are other plotholes in the show. This isnt one.

Lmiwnks

The intro song is up there as a lot of people favorite, song and animation it’s my favorite. You should react to it like 20 episodes from now I think it has spoilers but I don’t remember

Anthony Jernigan

U have to remember back when the third took Orochimaru arm it’s the reaper death seal that can split things aparts and on the other part can’t tell if the par that’s in Naruto is good or bad but u have to remember everytime ask to lend him strength in the OG naruto he helped him out every time but that doesn’t help out the good or bad side

Vlad Bisu

Is not a matter of good half and bad half. It’s Yin release and Yang release. In Minato, it just happen to be the Yin part of Kurama.

Hendra

Fusion hahaha and also nine rasengan

Hendra

But if they watch triple drop in both monday and wednesday so they also got conclusion of the fight. but if they just drop double, the conclusion become cliffhanger on the other next week

Hendra

I mean, the first conclusion not the last hahaha

Shiyao

Ron! Let me just say that you're not the only one! For a show that's brought us that much depth and detail, some things in this arc so far don't seem to make as much intuitive sense...

DRoger

I believe that the reason Kurama didn’t just get released after minato died bc Naruto was still alive so kurama technically didn’t die either. So theoretically if Naruto died the nine tails should respawn twice as powerful because it would release the other half. Another idea that works in my head is just the type of sealing was different bc the reaper is supposed to actually keep what is sealed in him so theoretically it’s also like not being able to die while being dead 🤷‍♂️💀

Mel - Sërënä

Michelle got me laughing so haaard 🤣 like "whatever LET ME WATCH!!!" 🤣 Still, I totally understand Ron's questions, some of them can be answered, some of them they're just going pass-through with the flow and vibes 🤣 no logic included 🤣 - Minato split the chakra into 2, OK; how did he choose or separate the one and other?, I don't know 🤔, vibes? 🤣... plus, it's not like one good and one bad literally, but the yin and yang, wich refers to the 2 parts of a whole. - When a Jinchuriki dies, the tailed beast doesn't die literally, how to explain it?, they just "dissolve" to the earth/air/nature/world, call it what you want, remember tailed beast are just big amounts on energy/chakra taking a "body form" but they don't die, the energy disperse and we (or I) assume, when the energy comes back together, it takes body form again, that's why when Rin died, the 3 tails just "vanished" and was later found living it's best life in that lake 😅 With Minato's Kurama's half, it didn't "dissolve" cause it was sealed, Minato died, but his soul was not gone and separate from the 9 tails, they were both sealed in the "space" where the reaper keep the souls, or at least I understand it like that 😅 -For other questions, you will have some answers with next episodes 😁 back stories are not over 😏🤭

Mo za

That knee position 😅

Douglas Andrade

Regarding Ron's thoughts and questionings on this reaction: 1– There's no "evil" or "good" Kurama and – as we saw on these episodes – they're the Yin and Yang halves; If you're not familiar with the Yin and Yang concept, I recommend you to take a little look on It and you'll see that It is a lot more complex than just black and white or "good" and "evil". And no, Minato didn't deliberately choose wich half was to be sealed inside of him or in Naruto, he didn't deliberately think "I'm going to seal the 'good' half in Naruto and the 'evil' half inside myself". He simply realized that Kurama's chakra as a whole was unfathomably too immense to be sealed in and to be controlled by a little kid; that's why he split It in half using the Reaper Death Seal's abilities so It would be easier to master and control in the future. 2– Yes, Minato also became a Jinchūriki after sealing half of the Fox chakra inside of him and you're correct when you said that when a Jinchūriki dies, their beast is released, that is, when It is a conventional/natural death, which was not Minato's case: he died sealing himself up using the Reaper Death Seal jutsu. What is interesting about this particular Jutsu is that It is a suicidal technique, Meant to be used as a last resort. When used, the user of the jutsu "sell" their soul to the Shinigami (god of death) in exchange for Its powerful sealing abilities and, after It's all set and done, the Shinigami seals the caster's soul inside Its belly to forever roam in some kind of intermediate realm, a dimensional trap, until someone reverse or undo the seal, which was what Orochimaru eventually came on doing. So, Minato didn't really die in the traditional sense of the word, I mean, his body, his physical self definitely died during the battle against the Nine Tails, but his soul, alongside with the other half of Kyuubi's chakra got sealed/trapped away and was roaming around inside the Shinigami's belly for 17 years; That's why Kabuto wasn't able to bring the 4 former Hokage back to life using the Reanimation Jutsu, because they're all sealed inside the belly as well and he didn't know how to undo It. 3– The concept of chakra and soul in the Naruto Universe are pretty much interchangeable. Chakra is the life force/vital energy that connects and fuels every living creature in the world and the souls are basically composed of chakra. That's why when somebody uses the Reanimation Jutsu to bring an individual back to life is actually summoning their chakra/vital energy/soul or vice versa. Chakra is the transcendental energy that connects the realm of the living to the realm of the dead.

Gyt

NO SPOILERS BTW The sage stopped the 10 tails and turn himself into the 10 tails jinchuriki just like obito is rn and before the sage passed away of old age he separated the pieces of chakra into 9 tailed beasts and scattered them across the world .

Gyt

Naruto is a kinda show that it gets sooooo much better with a rewatch especially OG . I hope y’all both do a rewatch on ur own time both og and shipp after y’all finish the show .

Simon Schick

0:33 you got me for a sec ngl I was super mad 😂😂

Slim Yeezus23

A lot of stuff you’re not gonna catch on the first watch through. Most of us in the comments done rewatched Naruto multiple times 😂😂

Slim Yeezus23

And you guys watch a lot of anime as well

Slim Yeezus23

Hopefully yall watch the hagoromo backstory. I don’t think it’s canon but it’s really good world building

Shadow Games

Minato controlling Kurama is a ass pull

Bryan Cartagena

As if they even know who Hagoromo is, i don't think it's even been mentioned who that is at the current point in the story. We know who it is but I don't think they do.

JustRojo

they mentioned him in this episode as the sage of six paths

Bryan Cartagena

That's literally what is revealed in 329 no? Hot take but any channel that dedicates 2 days in a week for a show and has other shows mixed in, it feel like they will miss/forget details due to them having so much on their plate. Some people can retain details but obviously not every person is the same. I could be wrong but I've just seen it from other reactors old and new.

Adelin Toluntan

Naruto have a great story but the problem in that at last kishimoto just want to finish it at it was much plot hole on the last episode, but at the start or middle of shippiden the storytelling it’s incredibile

Antonio Ricardo

Lowkey you might have more difficulty with trying to overthink in this last stretch of the story lol.

SXD

Bruh what are you even talking about? Stfu and let them watch it and decide for themselves. If not for obvious spoilers I would've liked to know what "plot-hole" you're talking abt lmao. You just didn't understand the plot that's it

SXD

It's literally not a ass pull at all. You just don't understand how the reaper works. He was fighting kurama for 17yrs inside the stomach of the reaper, that's way too much time for a genius like Minato to master kurama's power. In fact, he should be stronger than naruto in that mode. If you don't understand something about a story don't go immediately assuming it's a plot hole or "asspull", do some research and try to understand first, smh

Ace

Madara just said the 10 tails IS the tree. Obito is the 10 tails jinchuriki, therefore currently in control of the beast (who has been actively trying to fight back) I gotta agree with Michelle here just put the fries in the bag bro lol Edit: idk how far in advance yall need it so ill just mention it from here on out, please watch ”The last: Naruto the movie” after episode 493

Samochi

Ron still being an idiot

Mavoal

chill bruv

The Strawhatbranz

Bro they literally just mentioned Hagaromo in this episode, you sweet bro

The Strawhatbranz

Haha you’re right. I think those of us who rewatched it back to back because of fillers etc lol but nah, a lot of us watched a lot of anime at the same time and kept a lot of info. A few other reactors don’t have the same problem watching a lot of anime at the same time too. Old mate just needs to stop thinking about every detail and take its face value because the answers to his questions are sometimes not too far away.

Javeed Green

lol was he supposed to give the chakra back to the tree or spit up the chakra into manageable pieces

Samochi

One of the most iconic and emotional sealing jutsu ever, splitting the nine tails chakra. Ron: No one has done that in this show

Samochi

Even michelle just want to watch. Don't mix regular logic to anime logic.

SXD

bruh just stfu, you're so mad that a reactor is reacting to an anime he loves in a normal manner by asking questions about something he saw. Like if you hate him asking questions so much then just skip until he finishes his questions. Are you even here to watch their reactions or watch the show?

Samochi

Make me shut up then

Samochi

Cmon make me stop

Samochi

He is an idiot, make me stop

Samochi

Making me stop doesnt change anything. He still an idiot

Jayson Agron

I think maybe because the ten tails was never actually whole (missing 8 + 9 tails) that it could be tamed easier by Obito. We also see the tree avoiding other main characters too for the plot lol

Tommy -_-

Poor Michelle 😭

Empire You

You guys should create a podcast and read the books. Itachi Retsuden, Kakashi Retsuden, etc.

DRoger

“Final Form” meaning it in its “whole/complete state” which technically is just the tree with all its chakra(which was peaceful). The tree is technically still kinda in between being 10 tails and being complete rn bc it still doesn’t have all of its chakra back! Gotta remember the tree only turns hostile(or into the 10 tails) when it is split up!

HernKage

Mochii dawg you needa relax

Adrian corral

All love but Ron is really starting to annoy me. Now he’s just tryna guess and theorize everything

Nicoara Emanuel

He didn’t split the good half and bad half of kurama, it’s just a miss interpretation of the translation. The kurama in Minato was just sarcastic

Gyt

"Make me stop make me stoppp" grown ahh man moaning in the comments section

Samochi

💯💯

Tatsu Riveraeon

It's insane how Kushina maintaines consciousness with half her body weight impaled.

SShonix

Mochi man just go to bed. You're still paying for their patreon at the end of the day 😂 Ron's drying his tears with your money rn

Samochi

You really think I care about paying them? Lol

WJ Chu

chill bro👀

GameGod

Paying them to watch their videos and hate is another level of insane, lol. Someone needs to put some positivity in your life

GameGod

People use the words plot hole too loosely. Everything doesn't have to be revealed 200 episodes prior for it to be a part of the plot. Sometimes we see things from a different character's perspective that only have a portion of the actual story.

Samochi

Yeah sure sure, whatever you say.

Michelle Lam

"now"?! lol its not like i am all of a sudden reacting differently lol

Michelle Lam

what episode have we seen a talked beast split into two?

Michelle Lam

mochii listen. I never claimed not to be an idiot. I am an idiot lol i know that. and i appreciate you being here to support me. i do. you have been supporting us for over 2 year now, and i am grateful.

Michelle Lam

my biggest problem is idk how to get smarter. As it applies to reacting. WHat can i do. I want to be smarter. I want to understand the story more. And remember everything thats important. But how? LOL SHould i just talk less? Not say whats on my mind and maybe i come across smarter? Like i understand everything? But then would people care as much about our reactions? Idk. its a tough place to be in. Just keeping it real.

Samochi

S12 E249 - Thank You (crunchyroll)

Michelle Lam

you both are not wrong lol i think about this all the time. Its tough though bc if we were only reacting to 3 shows, our audience would prob be a lot smaller. its a ballance. Idk how yaboyroshi does it. They watch like 20 shows at once

Michelle Lam

i know, you are so right and these last two episodes have kinda open my eyes to this. Ive had a shift.

Michelle Lam

i want to get better i swear! I just dont know how!

Samochi

Why not start by paying attention to details? And separating real world logic to a fantasy anime logic. Not a guarantee to get smarter but you'll have the information and resources to answer simple questions and make your own set of conclusions. Also you have michelle.

Michelle Lam

naw i get that minato sealed half kurama in him and the other half in Naruto. I am saying why havnt we seen this anywhere else? Has any other tailed beast been split up in any episodes? why havnt we had multiple jinchurikis before? Seems like that would be the smart thing to do. how come there is always only 1, but with kurama they made 2.

Michelle Lam

but paying attention to detail is subjective right? bc i am paying attention to detail. im just an idiot. So how does one get better at paying attention?

Samochi

Google it

Ananth Varma

it's not light or dark kurama it's like an edo tensei version of kurama if that makes it easier to understand :) minato sealed kurama inside himself and killed himself with the reaper death seal which took kurama with him.

Sy

😂😂😂

BeautyWillSaveTheWorld

Ron, don't listen to people like him. We love your genuine reactions!

Lmiwnks

Can someone explain how Minato can do the Kurama link mode cloak (glowing all yellow like Naruto) when he only had the tail beast for a few minutes before he died? & Naruto took a while before learning that

Kesendo

keep cooking bro, they can skip if they dont want to listen...

Space

kurama respected minato

Samochi

Why would you think it will be smarter to split a tailed beast to multiple person? For me that would just become a liability since they will need to keep watch of multiple persons instead of one. And that multiple person should stay with each other at all times to have the full power of the tailed beast. We have seen the akatsuki defeat a jinchuriki with full tailed beast inside them, what more if that power is split up to multiple person. Its risky Also not everyone is compatible with tailed beast chakra

Samochi

You havent seen this anywhere else because the plot doesnt want to, you dont overthink this kind of things. There is no perfect plot, there will always be plot holes in a story. The more you overthink the more it will show.

Strive TheGreat

idk who said that Minato split Kurama into good and evil halves. that's just not true lol.

Strive TheGreat

also when you mentioned in the intro 'we've never seen someone split someone into two", think about when the third hokage used the reaper death seal on Orochimaru. He wasn't strong enough to seal Orochimaru's whole soul so he just took away his arms. For the reaper death seal you need to be strong enough to seal the whole other person or being.

Strive TheGreat

maybe one thing that would help you too is understanding the tailed beast are essentially just giant clumps of chakra. they have a physical form, yes. but back in the early episodes where they did the tree climbing it's explained that chakra is a combination of spiritual and physical energy. which is how chakra taking a physical form (think- the rasengan or the Chidori) is possible. So when minato is sealing half the ninetails you have to realize he's sealing half of the physical and spiritual energy that IS the ninetails. That doesn't come back after he dies because it's gone- it's sealed away, that spiritual/physical energy just doesn't exist in our plane of existence anymore.

Strive TheGreat

(last comment.... maybe) some of what Michelle was saying was kind of true tho. Like with a lot of your questions were already answered, and then sometimes you try to over complicate things as a viewer vs as "a person of the universe" (naruto-verse in this case). Like asking why is it just now we're hearing from this other half of Kurama. If you are just a random person in the shinobi alliance do you know that Naruto talks to kurama? probably not. But as a viewer who sees Naruto's inner mind, we know he talks to Kurama. SO just because we're just now being shown minato talking to the other half, doesn't mean he didn't talk to the other half before. You shouldnt have to be shown every single detail to come to certain conclusions.

TAKAHIRO

Minato's soul remained in the Shinigami's belly, still harboring Kurama. There he communicated with Kurama.

TAKAHIRO

Episode 469 split Kurama's soul into two. After that, Minato's soul remained inside the god of death, still harboring Kurama. There he communicated with Kurama. I think it's less confusing if you don't think about what happened physically. Sorry, the words are awkward because I'm using the translation function from Japanese.

Oscar Wallberg

Maybe not good and evil but Bee says he senses one light and one dark kurama, at around 18:20.

Jagodina

"They say that two high level ninja can tell what the other is thinking with just an exchange of fists" -Sasuke at the final valley in OG naruto

Ameth

I think its less he split half good and half evil, I think its just his version of kurama (and him) have been sealed. There's been no development for either of them, they haven't gone through 12 years of growing up together and doing what naruto and kurama have (becoming friends, etc). Think of his half of Kurama as a frozen carbon copy of Kurama when he was rampaging across the village and killed his parents, just sealed away.

Hiro

Yeah I thought about how that would affect your audience as well, it's a bit unfortunate but I get it.

Luis

oemgee

kidCash3

Those people who got their chakras drained completely are dead … no fairytales here ppl are dying

Strive TheGreat

Yes light and dark is referring to the yin and yang chakra. Yin release is shadow style. Yang is light style. POTENTIAL SPOILER HEREAFTER: The sage of six paths combined both yin and yang release to create yin-yang release use to create the tailed beasts.

Lewis Stewart

This Ron guy needs to stop overthinking things that have either already been explained to him...or will be explained

Naruto Uzumaki

You can’t say “will be explained”when he doesnt know whether it will be explained. Everyone who watched naruto when it was coming out had the same questions and guesses of what will happen. He’s just doing the same

i dont think the information is definitive enough to clarify how kuruma was split in two and think it's just an ignored or not very well clarified thing. The sage of six paths split 10 tails into 9 and gave them physical bodies, are we saying that minato achieved the same thing six paths did with the reaper death seal? if you read the specifics on sage of six paths creating the 9 tailed beasts, it sounds nothing like what minato did and tbh splitting up a tailed beasts chakra in half sounds reasonable, but splitting it up and also essentially creating a new being as well, just a poorly written but thankfully not that important part of the show

Minato split Kuramas chakra pool into Yin and Yang. He’s able to do that because Minato has Yin and Yang release. He’s capable of separating the physical properties and ethereal properties of the chakra of the Tailed Beast within the seal, splitting them into 2 halves, Yin and Yang. Yin is essentially the spiritual essence of the tailed beast, (in this case) the soul, and Yin is the physical essence of the tailed beast, the body of the Tailed Beast. I would assume it takes great physical and mental concentration considering what I saw him do in the manga. (However it would make sense why ninja like him are rare. He has the mental capacity and concentration of chakra control in regards to Yin release, and the ability to manipulate physical properties to a heightened degree due to having Yang release.) Meaning one side is inherently darker than the other half and will be harder to tame. It’s why the 3 Tails is so docile and easy to control, compared to the 9 Tails or 8 Tails. So for Tailed Beasts with more chakra, you need either a compatible body, spirit, or strong enough seal. Minato used the Reaper Deal Seal as a last resort for not having time to do a proper jinchuriki ritual. He took half because sealing more than half would be too much power for an infant, meaning the seal wouldn’t last long. He also needed to store that power somewhere if he couldn’t find a new host because he was dying, and made himself a jinchuriki, since he’d be sealed, the rest of the power would be sealed with him forever. Different Tailed Beasts have their own chakra pools, due to having more chakra, resulting in more Tails, making it harder to control. Minato was a prodigy and was EXTREMELY WELL VERSED in Sealing Jutsu at just 14. (We learned this from his One Shot Manga that was released last summer, he single handedly held together and suppressed V2 Kyuubi Kushina’s seal while being stabbed through the stomach by her while being taken over by Kurama.) Kurama was so surprised at his sealing AND NOT being an Uzumaki he compared his sealing potential to that of Hashirama. Minato also learned various sealing Jutsu techniques from Kushina’s mother. Everyone that uses the Reaper Seal understands the stipulations, and that’s why he’d used it. He didn’t expect the seal to ever have a counter. Minato and Orochimaru were talking about this right after he reanimated the 4 Hokage. “You undid the Reaper Death Seal? How Mr. Orochimaru?” Orochimaru explained he learned through studying the ruins and knowledge he’d collected from the Uzumaki clan, because the Reaper Death Seal is an Uzumaki clan made Jutsu. When they went to grab the mask off the wall a few episodes ago, they were in the Uzumaki village ruins. Naruto unluckily got the evil side of Kurama. Edo Tensei essentially snatches your soul back from the afterlife and back into the land of the living. However the 4 Hokage and Minato and Orochimaru’s arms weren’t in the afterlife realm, they were in the realm of the Death God a separate realm, where you’re forced to fight forever. It defies the natural order of life and death which is why it’s forbidden, same as Edo Tensei.

its really not that complicated. He sealed half away and half in naruto. There is no evil/good & light/dark not sure where youre getting that from. The only reason Naruto's kurama is considered "good" is because like what the "evil" Kurama said at the end. Naruto "sweet talked my other half". During the sealing they were both evil. The only reason Naruto's half is changed and not his father's is because Naruto is able to change people's hearts and make them see things a different way, a constant theme of the show. Naruto even said he was coming for all the hate inside Kurama one day, but that does not include the half inside his father because they were sealed away and split. It's really obvious if your paying attention.
