The ant king is the best character of the series, I have him tattooed on me but as his cute stage. Demon Slayer and Solo Leveling over Vinland saga is just a crime. I understand it's his favorite but if you put them side by side Vinland clears Demon Slayer and Solo Leveling based on storing telling.

From my perspective and what I got from the Black Ant not killing the Korean hunters and not the Japanese hunters is because we already saw in the last episode the Japanese hunters win against them during the sparring, and the ant defeated them so he started taking them as a joke. They also killed his queen, so he most likely thought they deserved to suffer more than the Japanese. He then decided to only kill the healer because he was annoying and providing too much help, and before he killed the Yoonho he sensed a stronger presence and left, because in his mind he likely thinks if he defeats the strongest than everything else is meaningless to fight.

As far as the Ant killing the ones outside, he had too since he planned on going inside. Once he was inside I mean I imagine he was so mad he was just toying with them instead of killing them as quick as possible. And as Michelle said, there’s no point killing the soldiers, he wanted to kill the leader.

Yeah, Daima definitely made an impact with its recent episodes, but I feel like several anime have had those “broke the internet” moments while I was watching certain episodes. I remember a few from the Wano arc in One Piece, Attack on Titan early on, in Naruto during the last part of the war, and even though One Piece is my favorite, the Dragon Ball franchise is what I grew up with, so that moment from Dragon Ball Super? Absolute god-tier. 💯💯🙏🏼😰

It's funny, how the Japanesse hunters (i mean Goto & his superior), are acting like it's actually good for them, and they wanted the Korean hunters to die in action there, from the beginning. And they think all the hunters inside the mountain are gonna die. But at this moment most of the casualties are in the Japan side. From Korea's side only Byung-Gu died. And i think that's all the casualties Korea will have there, tbh.

I swear in the Light Novel, the ant king kept tearing apart the tank intentionally trying to pinpoint the healer, who had no choice but to keep healing. He tracked down the source of the magic then killed byunggu. I guess they couldn't show this in anime as it'd be too brutal

Episodes earlier (in the orc dungeon) you could see how strong the A-rank healer was - she recreated a whole arm in 2-3 seconds. So the healer here was S-rank. They got shit on by the Ant King, but before Byung-Gu died, he almost instantly healed the most critical injuries. Then the Ant King went to Baek Yoonho again, he choked him a bit, and left all of them in pursuit of the 'stronger one'.

Also i dont know what rock u have been living under but Demon slayer at this moment is 100x more popular than Dragon ball super and has far better ratings. We rnt in 2010 anymore Demon slayer is legitimately the most watch anime on the planet currently. The only thing in super anyone cares about is UI Goku and stuff that unfortunately will never get animated.

Michelle, Baek (the S-Rank who can transform into a beast) didn't ask the healer to come with them. The healer had said from the beginning that he didn't want to go. He only came in the end because he was worried. And that's exactly why it's so damn sad. And I'm actually surprised how much his death hurts me 😥 He was so sweet and kind. He had given up being a Hunter because he couldn't stand the fighting and all the blood anymore, but in the end he decided to come and fight because he was worried about his friends. And then he's the only one who dies in the end. That's so fucking sad! No joke, all the credit in this fight goes to him, because without him, all the other S-Ranks would surely have been killed.

I read it and I LOVE to wait and see how people react to it and myself. Reading and watching are so different. I am so grateful you guys love this show so much. A LOT of people are haters purely because they want it to be "deeper" than it is. A show can just be a edgy power fantasy and still be an enjoyable masterpiece. As for the black ant not killing them at that point he didnt feel they were important enough to kill and wanted vengeance for his queen (killing humanities equivalent) way more plus wanted to learn more He killed the healer which made them not a threat anymore

As for the squad surviving those injuries, the healer did some minor work on them from a distance before he died (primarily Choi slash had dried blood, Baek chest marks, and the big dudes arms, Cha and Reaper dude were out of commission though).

In my opinion, bleach is definitely the same tier as one piece and Naruto. I even like Ichigo more than Naruto and luffy. Aizen is a great written villain, probably the best villian in any anime tbh and I love Madara too!

RIP Byunggu and the other Japanese hunters~ If you rewatch again, the king ant did not slice the Korean hunters in half but cut and beat them up real bad leaving them with fatal wounds. Only Byunggu got stabbed in the heart or abdomen and got his head eaten. Byunggu also healed their fatal wounds right at the last second. And after the King ant consumed Byunggu, it gained speech. Next week is going to be even more crazy! XD

I mean he already listed the better four shounen shows. Honestly, while the action in Solo Leveling is great, it doesn't feel as impressive if you've watched the Chimera Ant Arc before. I enjoy Solo Leveling and I think it is great too since I have read the manhwa, but it wouldn’t make my Top 5 overall for its story. The animation did an excellent job in this episode, though, and I was definitely impressed.

A nice detail is that until the queen died, the black ant was killing efficiently. It was just its job. Against the squad that slayed the queen and after seeing the body, it was personal, and it was angry. Efficiency and duty went out the window., it was about revenge and punishment, hence the more brutal attacks less centred on killing blows.

They left off a part of the manhwa during the sparring that would have made it make sense. In the manhwa Goto said he felt death fighting Jinwoo. That's the only link between them. Both made him feel the fear of death

SL has caught my attention and kept it faster and longer. Jjk is cool but it’s just another rendition of something else. SL is too but it does it so differently and I haven’t read the manwha but I’ve been spoiled, based on what I’ve seen is too come this story is going to be so much more interesting. Like this show gave me the same feeling as hxh and AOT . I don’t think it’ll surpass those two but I can easily see this surpassing many new shows. Like demon slayer is also risen and repeat but look how loved it is. It has other strengths that SL doesn’t but it’s mainly carried by animation and the emotion of the story. I can tell this is just the tip of the iceberg with this show similar to what I felt during AOT. I do think he wins more than truly lose but I think that’s the whole point and it’ll make more sense in this one with makes me his different than other anime.

I’ve read both jjk and sl and jjk keeps you on your toes and anticipating, and guessing. Solo is literally rinse and repeat over and over in cool ways, but the story is ok, the concept is cool and the animation is great so I hope you continue to enjoy. Was just saying jjk and solo are in two different leagues. And if anything jjk is more similar to hxh than solo

ehhhh solo levelling isnt the best, but I'd put it over jjk. jjk solo and especially conclusion was pretty weak. Solo leveling stays pretty consistent throughout and only gets better after the halfway point. Is it the best story of all time? ofc not lol But def an enjoyable one! And I hope we continue to see webtoons being animated since there are so many good ones out there (Pick Me Up, Surviving as a Barbarian, The Greatest Estate Developer, Omniscient Reader, etc). Hopefully at the same animation quality (unlike ToG...q.q)

Well, in his defense, the ultimate weapon usually has a weak defense. They're glasscannons most of the time, especially mage types, which Choi is. He HAS to keep his distance. Hence, why they said he'd be at a disadvantage for the spar, close-combat.

I’ll shorten this. Last episode I commented Jin-Woo missed the most important raid he could be on. I said watch as there’s no S rank hunters left and all the overtime he has to pull in. Someone commented comparing hunters to doctors saying just because a doctor calls out. Let the other doctors do their work. Well, the doctors are in this case the hunters if they all die. Jin-woo has almost a civilian duty if he doesn’t want monsters just roaming the streets. He’s putting that overtime. I don’t know any spoilers about this anime. It’s actually really realistic how he swung that guy back-and-forth a lot of people look at that and laugh. They don’t think it’s realistic. To swing a 15-pound object, you might need to swing it at a speed of a few feet per second to achieve a moderate swing. Source: google AI according to that I’d say this guy was less than 10lbs or 10-15lbs. It’s just a funny animation to me and I think a lot of people see it very unrealistically, but imagine a mammal of that size and swinging it back-and-forth or a human that weights 7lbs. This scene bro was big ⏸️ the ant was bulk/ripped S rank Dead or gonna loose a line or bones (tgat would lead dk paralyzation. A normal guy. Cooked. Your a grain of sand. I do think it's dogshit writing to not have Jinwoo go to the island with the other S-rank hunters, literally pointless. "I wanna spend time with my family uwu" is dogshit writing > "These ants are a threat and will soon expand to mainland Korea" - so instead of dealing with them while they're weaker, he decides to not join and instead wait until the last second? Bro was sat atop a roof anyway, wasn't even with his family... I'll still end up giving this season a 7 or so, and despite being an anime only, I safely assume the story is going for the angle of him losing his humanity/emotions as he gains power, but I simply don't care given he cried over the return of his mother. IF they made him not cry it woulda have given more meaning to this scene...

Who needs Jinwoos help more? His mom who just came out of a 4 year coma or a group of 15 S-rank hunters trying to defeat an S-rank dungeon break? The answer seems clear, especially when you think about the fact that the basic red ants are fodder to the S-ranks and that no one knew that Beru was born. Even then, Jinwoo still attached shadows to the group so he could easily be there if they needed his help. It makes perfect sense.

I've watched over 300 anime and I don't think I'll ever watch Hunter hunter. Everyone says solo leveling is just like Hunter hunter. But if that's the case, I've already watched solo leveling. So I don't need to watch Hunter Hunter now.
