With that said, been getting A LOT of messages around how to watch this. (Sorry for the slow responds to DMs 😅)With that said, this would be a great place to put any created Boruto Watch orders. So if you have created a doc or a spreadsheet or something, please share. And we can basically take a look at a bunch and see the most widely accepted way to watch and go from there! PUMPED is an understatement. Can't wait to share with yall.

If you want to indulge in the world a bit then the first arc (filler canon in a way that the final episodes of Shippuden was) . After that then you can continue the watch order that I’ve already sent you before 😅

Best order in my opinion: 1-15 (since you already started you may as well watch the arc) 18-24 SKIP 25-52 but WATCH 39 53-66 SKIP 67-92 93-95 SKIP 96-105 106-111 SKIP 112-126 127-136 (nostalgia) SKIP 137-147 148-151 SKIP 152-156 157-180 (the only anime canon arc you should watch) 181-220 SKIP 221-281 282-293

And a lot of what people call Boruto’s “anime canon” is actually canon. There’s a lot of arcs that are Light Novel Adaptations, that give more context and story to characters you otherwise wouldn’t get much of.

It's 122 episodes to watch. Boruto is a 101 chapter long story right now, it shouldn't be unnecessarily extended especially when a lot of the filler arcs are really 'Saturday morning cartoonish' if you like. I think they'd get very bored very quickly if they watched a lot of it. I guess they could watch the time slip arc as well but that and the Kara actuation arc are the only 2 non-canon arcs that are genuinely worth watching imo.

1-15 18-24 25-32** 34-38* 39 51-66 71-92* 93-95* 106-111* 127-136* 141-151 157-175* 178-187 188-220 221-227* 232-255** 282-286 287- Completion *- these are episodes that feature content NOT in the manga or light novels, but fill in holes the manga leaves open. Keep in mind Boruto chapters release monthly instead of weekly like Naruto did, and has limited pages, so a LOT of supplementary info just gets left out. It's not necessary to watch these episodes, but Naruto is just sorta known for this. Brilliant example of this is the shikamaru episode in Naruto that features that scene with his father playing shogi. Completely anime original, but the arc feels like it's missing something without the episode. Knowing your watching habits, everything I've listed with this mark is something I know you two would be interested in. When you get to these batch of episodes consider watching them, even if you just end up deciding to watch them off camera. **- These are 2 filler arcs that work from the same story. If you skip the first batch of these episodes, I'd skip the second batch too. You really need to watch both batches to really get the complete story here. Listing these separately because they take up a lot of episodes and do have nice story As you can see there's a lot of choice when watching this series, at the end of the day you'll enjoy yourself as long as you watch what you're interested in. Don't let the hate bother you and keep doing your thing guys, have fun!

You should honestly just watch it all the way thru 🤷🏾‍♂️ the whole series is basically “filler” being a prequel to the manga .. it’s no incorrect way to watch this show … … so watching all the episodes even the filler isn’t really a problem … people are gonna complain regardless

52 shouldn’t be skipped at all. Wanting to skip 93-95 is criminal, they were based on the light novel 98-103 is actually a decent arc Also wanting them to skip pure nostalgia arc 127-136 is an interesting take to say the least

I trust the other people here to share a complete list, but I remember episodes 282-286 that are mostly called filler by other people, but they're actually an adaption of a novel about Sasuke called "Sasuke Retsuden". Might be worth a watch. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but you could basically watch it anytime regardless of where you are in Boruto

1-2, 5-6, 8-15, 18-24, 35-38, 39, 51-66, 148-151 , 157, 178-220, 287-293 <---- Here is the list I recommend. This list includes some anime canon episodes that helps set the stage, allow for easy transitions between arcs, and give the necessary character development/backstories that the manga left out. If you watch strictly manga canon, it will 100% feel like you are jumping around without any context. Other episodes that are canon, but not necessarily within the context of the story, but rather the world is 93-95, 106-111, and 282-286 Also, only watch 120-136 if you're interested about a character after the events of ep66 I believe this is the bare minimum you should watch to be able to understand the story and characters, especially after the anime returns. If you do not agree, let's talk about it civilly.

I would say watch it all. only because it’s very short and we don’t know when we will ever get the continuation. plus, not skipping episodes will let you at least learn about the side characters that arent as involved in the manga/canon episodes. i watched it all and really recommend you do the same. other reactors skip so much that they end up not knowing about the side characters much at all and it really takes away from the show i feel like.

I would wait because they changed the beginning of it to fit within the timeline and makes it seem more of a flashback. I do think they would enjoy these episodes though.

Watch all of the anime/manga cannon episodes cause without watching the anime cannon episodes you guys will definitely be lost not knowing what’s fully going on and not knowing side characters that well. PLEASE DONT ONLY WATCH MANGA EPISODES. Watch the anime cannon episodes help build up the main story and you can skip the filler episodes.

This is a solid list, similar to mine. I feel like anime canon arcs after 66 should be voted on or a decision based on their interest, not because they're trash but because it could be an acquired taste, and because some of those lengthy arcs put a lot of buffer between manga content.

So the thing here is that the Boruto anime is 75% anime-only canon while about 25% is Manga canon. If you want to stay true to the creators storyline then follow manga only list. Otherwise just watch the whole thing and exclude fillers. A lot of people are going to recommend using animefillerlist.com but i highly recommend you guys using animefillerguide.com. It’s a way better site because it shows the shows timestamps of the mixed filler and canon episodes so you don’t have to sit through an entire episode just to see the canon part of the episode. I also highly recommend using it for your bleach and one piece reactions.

This is terrible advice. There is 2-3 anime cannon arcs that they would love. I get a lot of the anime cannon and filler is bad but there is 2 specific arcs I know they would love and a 3rd I think they would like because I know their preferences personally.

Sorry for the long comment but this is my personal opinion is. Obviously watch all of it if u want to but my personal recommendation is to Watch All the manga cannon cuz it is all very good which is 1,18-24, 39, 53-59, 61-66, 106-111, 148-151, 181-189, 193-208, 212-220, 282-293. Then as far as the filler and anime cannon my recommendation would be as followed Skip all FILLER, unlike Naruto boruto has ZERO good filler arcs. As far as anime cannon: Don’t watch the first anime cannon arc which is 2-15 cuz it’s terrible. Watch the second anime cannon arc which is 25-38 cuz it is a very good arc that I think u guys would enjoy. This one is one u could watch on Patreon and I promise only haters would complain it’s a very good arc. I would skip the next anime cannon arc which is 40-52 personally didn’t think it was good or memorable . Episode 60 is anime cannon and I’d watch it. It’s not an arc but it is cannon and has good information. 70-92 is anime cannon cannon arc and also my favorite non manga cannon arc in the series I seriously recommend watching it. If there was any non manga cannon arc I would recommend it’s this one. Also would watch this one on Patreon cuz if people complain it’s for no reason this arc is phenomenal. Michelle would like episode 93 but I would skip 94-105 personally. Then watch 120-126 followed by 128-137. Episode 127 is a filler episode in the middle of a good anime cannon arc. This is one of my personal least favorite anime cannon arcs but I know u two would enjoy it more than I did cuz u guys enjoy this type of content more than I do. This one personally I wouldn’t want on Patreon but I think alot of people would it’s a fan favorite arc just not for me. 141-147 I would skip. Not a good arc. A lot of people r gonna tell u to skip 157-180 and i tend to agree because its not a good arc but the problem is there is a few good episodes in that arc that i wont say make it worth watching but r episodes that r very enjoyable. Skip 190-192. Others might disagree but i dont remember these episodes that well so to me that means they cant be very good. 209-211 I would watch. They rnt great but they also rnt bad and r worth watching. 221-230 I personally don’t like so I would skip but spoiler!!!!!! it is a chunin exams arc that u might enjoy so if u want to see that watch it. 233-255 might be the best arc in the whole series and I truly mean that. It is as good as any manga cannon arcs in Boruto. I highly and I mean Highly recommend this arc 259-281 I would skip but I think u guys could potentially enjoy this arc cuz it is centered around Naruto’s daughter who is very rarely in the manga. Again sorry for the long comment but that is my full breakdown on boruto as someone who watched the entire series filler and all. Stay blessed 🙏🙏

Surprisingly, I don't have a filler list for Boruto lol. I'm actually someone who watched pretty much all of it save for like one arc. The more you watch, the more endearing the characters become and also how Boruto is as a series may lend you to watch so-called "fillers". I think @Ducky in their comment has the right idea about it all.

We were all excited too, its definitely got moments that get us outta our seats but a lot of ehhh moments too. The freshness of the show was so good when you try to figure out who is who. Hopefully rewatching with yall will ignite something

Watch order always depends on cast. For me, I love op cast, so i watch it all. I liked the main story of bleach, but main cast for me I dont care for. So I skipped the filler which includes more main cast. For Boruto, I would recommend watch the first arc which includes the first 15, then figure if you like the cast. If so, just watch everything. If you like the story but dont like the characters, I would just watch manga canon and anime canon. If you want to get hype stuff to post to youtube, just watch manga canon. The website I used was AnimeFillerList.

You guys skipped all Naruto fillers, and there’s actually a few good ones in there. All the Boruto fillers are pretty bad honestly, but I still watch it all cuz I love Naruto. Even the anime cannon can get boring, so basically if you thought you wouldn’t enjoy the Naruto fillers, you definitely won’t for Boruto.

Watch every episode the show still hasn't returned and we still have a LOT of time till it ends. Sure the filler stories can get a little dragging but it does help to expand on individual characters soo you're not just stuck a boruto fan it gives others their moment in the spotlight. Also some of the fillers have some dope fights it really shows how different in level Boruto is from Naruto at that age

But there are some really good moments in fillers as well in Boruto. Spoilers: His travel to the past arc, parent child day, Naruto becomes hokage episode, and Kara introduction, Kawaki's times with Naruto's family, Hima's cosplay, Hima's time with shukaku, etc. I'm sure these are worth it.

So disclaimer I have seen up to like 255 or so, but Boruto is weird in that you’d think some episodes are filler but most of the things you listed were canon, anime canon at least. Boruto has a lot of anime cannon. It’s only 17% filler. Those filler have no relevance nor will it be remembered in the history of the show. Like the 3 episodes about Super Cho-Cho butterfly shit lol. I’d agree anything with Kawaki is important of course, but there’s times where you’ll have these “man, will this ever matter to anyone ever” type moments.

Right, but they’re not gonna be a stuck boruto fan. They have a reaction channel, so they need to react to the shit people wanna see (as in non filler shit) as well as other anime. They have plenty of other stuff to watch in the meantime, so their best bet is 100% skip filler.

watch to 15 to get introduced to the world in it's first arc and some key plot points, the actual story in the arc doesnt matter too much mind watch 16, bit fillery but some main stuff sasuke/toneri + (cant say names) skip 17, first taste of boruto skippable filler that adds nothing watch 18-24, sasuke + daughter arc, pretty fire skip 25-33 watch 34 (nothing really happens but one of the better episodes you can watch to get a feel for some of the new chars and things) watch 35-37 some nice stuff with kakashi and teaching the youngers watch 38 if you want to see burotos genin squad get established and asumas daughter in ep, not too important though so can skip watch 39, nice episode about mitsuki skip 40, 41, 42 watch episodes 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, overarching story doesnt matter too much but you get some nice development with shikimarus son plus some nice bits with shikamaru, some nice naruto being hokage moments and some stuff about the current level of tech in the universe or an introduction to it skip 48, 49, 50 watch 51-66, main story, boruto movie arc, story sauce, fight sauce, character dev, universe expansion, madness 67-69 worst eps with worst character absolute skip skip 70-92, arc about mitsuki, you get to see some old chars like tsunade, you get too see sage snake place ryuchi cave, a char from shippuden actually dies, but it'ts not that type of death, it's pretty insignifcant and even though maybe one of the more interesting things to happen in the arc, watching the whole arc isnt worth it, just for the main carry aways of some mitsuki char dev and the death thing, i would skim through this one arc though admittedly when i first dropped boruto it was a few eps into this arc watch 93, the ep is called parent and child day skip 94, more parent and child day stuff but it has chojis daughter in it, all i need to say, anime original ep watch 95, more parent stuff but with sasuke skip 96-119, mostly trash eps, nothing to take from it watch 120-136 (boruto timetravel to past arc, not manga canon but tons of value and does tie into main story and what's going on, osts from first naruto series, jiraiya, boruto seeing naruto and a bit more of his past some more going into their relationship, things like that, some really nice scenes, very nostalgic, tbh i didnt care for any of the fights for multiple reasons but theres still takeaway here skip 137 watch 138 another birthday episode for hinatas dad, just solid character chats about stuff skip 139-147 anime canon but basically an unsatisfying filler arc that gives nothing really to the show watch 148-152 has some very slight main story stuff or a char from the prev filler arc that's connected to a gang, ultimately a bit fillery but some really nice character progression for boruto especially but also sarada skip 153 filler ep about chars that just aint worth the ep investment watch 154 about himawari and what she wants to do in life, not an important ep story wise but a nice episode for her character skip 155-156, 156 is chocho, immediate skip, 155 is mitsuki filler ep, but the story and content just isnt up there in comparison to the himawari episode lets say as much as i like mitsuki watch 157-208, main story, where the series starts returning to original form other than the chuunin exam arc, up to 180 is anime canon, but it ties much more into story than other anime canon arcs and the eps are just simply more interesting watch 209-210 flick through 211, awful fillery ep but important for story (especially second half) watch 212-214 (latest ep) ps sorry it's quite long and messy and i just skipped every filler after 214

I say watch it all if you guys want to. Some of the filler isn’t likable but some gives good character development. No need to rush it cause the show is currently on hiatus. Probably won’t come back until 2027 or 2028, maybe even later. I personally watched it all cause I was just damn excited the Naruto universe was back

to say it's spoiling the whole show when the large majority of details are about the filler eps is quite a strech. how would you convince somebody to watch a lot of the anime canon, you cant just simply say go watch this bit trust me, as the majority of it is trash, and even many eps with some take away still arent the most fun things to experience but at least the decision to react to the show or to just skim through in their personal time is made easier and it's not like anything ive wrote spells out what happens in the eps and makes them pointless to watch. the next best alternative is to skip the anime canon in-which case and just watch the manga canon bar the first 15 eps, the time arc and to start the anime canon at 157 which ties into the manga canon a bit later.
