Omg Next 3 episodios are the BEST 🥵🔥🗣️🗣️🗣️ ,LOVE the bankai ,and yes IS super rare to obtain, also the nobles thing is that they have more energy soo it's more easy ,but not only they can ,as u see With renji , can't wait for the triple 🖤

Alex

Kubo has said Western action films were a big influence on his style, so who knows, neo might've been an influence on Ichigo's bankai styling

Luna

The Mask, the fight, Hitsugaya’s story, Ichigo has to be the Hottest MC in shounen hands down👀 Peak PEAK next drop is gonna be crazyyyy!! Gotta get popcorn ready🔥🍿

Aaron williams

If you like this art wait until you progress the animation becomes more modern and the final arc is genuinely mind blowing

Nic

aido

yokoso

kirk poss

He said the nobles have way more spiritual energy but achieving bankai is still incredibly rare.

Aaron williams

Byakuya was saying that noble blood have the HIGHEST LIKELIHOOD of achieving Bandai. But not all of the captain are nobles. Hitsugaya grew up in the ruling district he was very poor and he has achieved Bankai. Ichigo achieving it is a testament to his potential not that he’s noble blood.

Shady Mozy

Bankai are extremely rare, don't expect everyone to have or get one. Blind black dude said a few episodes ago that all Captains besides Kenpachi have one. Renji developing one as a Vice Captain is RARE and partly qualifies him to become a future Captain.

Shady Mozy

Important detail that is unclear: It takes around 10 years to MASTER Bankai, not obtain it. We saw Ichigo & Renji obtain theirs but neither have put the time in to properly master the Bankai yet. Regardless the 5 to 10 times amp on raw stats is still necessary for them to challenge Captains right now so there was still a lot of merit to learning Bankai.

Shady Mozy

Bankai are extremely rare. Think about it. Some of these captains are hundreds of years old and yet we know 12 of them have Bankai, plus Ichigo & Renji now. That is 14 Bankai we know of in centuries..

Aaron williams

No ichigo is NOT stronger than everybody. There are several captains that would eat him up and spit him out. Hell, kenpachi only lost because he was playing with his food. Tbh that’s why byakuya lost too he was being arrogant. If he had taken ichigo serious he would’ve been handled. Head captain Yamato would have stepped on ichigo like a roach. There’s even one captain that has a secret……. Ichigo seriously got lucky. He is perceived as a teenager after all.

Damien Lee

Bankai is literally translated to "Something" Release. So yes, it is closer to a state of release than just an attacking move. More will be revealed at a later arc. And Ron is wrong that only noble families can achieve Bankai. Renji came from the slumps! Many terms in this anime are direct translations of the Kanji character, which is like chinese, that is why it may be harder to remember unless you know chinese. For example, Senbonzakura translates to A Thousand Cherry Blossoms

Terrance Smith

Ichigo would stand no chance against Yamamoto and shunsui

Tingz

Bleach definitely has the best character design it’s so cool and something u can take serious, also Tite Kubo dream was to be a fashion designer so that’s why the characters in bleach are dripped out and best believe Ichigo will have more fire fits

lordjaggi

sadly the episode title coming up will spoil everything...

ispeckz--

Wednesday can’t come soon enough 😅

XXI

what do you guys think Ron's zanpaktou is? shikai and ability? 😆

Madara uchiha

Why do you say this is my favorite anime in every anime ? Fr which one is it

Stazzi

I think we all wanted Aizen back, but Kubo explicitly said he would be too much of a fan favorite so he had to kill him early. If he hadn’t corporate would have made him mess with planned storylines and include him.

Oakley

Ready for lores overload the next three 😂

Kee

You can see Shikai and Bankai like the different Gears of Luffy. They are more a "state" rather then a specific move. About the whole Noble and generation thing. What he meant was that EVEN within the noble families. Which are known to be stronger. It's usually only achieved by 1 individual every generation(s). So anyone can achieve Bankai. It's just more likely to be someone from the noble families and if you aren't from a noble family then it's even more rare.

Den Wolf

Byakuya's reason for his actions actually makes a lot of sense.

BowlCutNinja

byakuya's bankai definitely reminds me of gaara

Shady Mozy

A flashback of Yuzu & Karin would've been great to better convey why Byakuya bothers Ichigo beyond just saving Rukia. Missed opportunity to invoke stronger emotions.

Shady Mozy

They've 100% been spoiled if they have been reading through episode titles..

Shadowstep2010

Are you going to watch the Bount Arc after? I'm not a fan, and it is all filler, but there are some characters that are shown in the arc that are also shown further in the story. The characters introduced are filler characters even though they appear in other episodes. The Bount arc is pretty like 50/50. People hate it, or like it.

Sammy

Woohoo my favourite guy appeared 👻🎊 The scene of him going berserk is still so lit🔥 And yeah, undoubtedly inspiration for Sukuna.

Usher

Disgusting cliffhanger. My dissappointment is immesurable and my day is ruined😭

Usher

Yeah, wednesday will definitely be the best anime drop of the week, maybe more

idkwhy

SPOILERS IN COMMENTS! Where are mods???

Julien jackson

“ it’s a lot more powerful when you know the NAME of it…….” 🤔🤔🤔🤔 iykyk what im thinking about

Pawzzz

See I don’t believe ichigo beat the brother… he got tagged out before he got 💀💀💀 … the hollow injured byakuya enough to where ichigo could have won

MFLongSwimBB
>>178947012

i think they got spoiled in their choose the anime opening vid, one of the OPs they saw had Aizen it

elean sanchez

“That guy” is the most ruthless soul reaper that has ever existed. Truly the goat of the anime

Letan Vinso

The hollow that just showed is the other "guy" in Ichigo's internal world along with Zangetsu.

#Shytszx Hott

They should’ve named this show “Deus ex machina” 🤦🏾‍♂️

JAN NARUTO

Kubo has the drippiest character designs. I love his dynamic angles and character-centered panels. I fking love when he does his shading, with every chapter his art just keeps getting better and better

Antonio Ricardo

So I wouldn’t say ichigo is stronger than everyone, not even byakuya, at the end of their fight they inflicted equal damage, ichigo is can’t even stand without the sword and Byakuya gives ichigo the win and is able to still flash step away. And we know Byakuya has kido at his disposal, or at the very least his fists lol.

Erl Sweatpants

That is not just ANY hollow indeed. Lol wait till u hear this lore

ARRT

When's Borutooooo

Masked Void

[Tidbits] - The Nobles having natural-born Spiritual Energy advantages should not be forgotten. Bankai can be achieved by any shinigami, it'd just be more likely if the person is of nobility because they tend to have a better potential for spiritual energy. - Byakuya's reaction to Ichigo's Bankai may simply come across as an insult, but he's a very experienced Shinigami, and the fact that Ichigo's Bankai seems off to him should draw some questions. Just in general, as he pointed out, why is Ichigo's Bankai so small? - Ichigo, much like Renji, is using his newly attained Bankai, his body wasn't quite ready for it. As the Masked version of Ichigo called out, Ichigo's Spiritual Pressure was so strong that he was crushing his own body. - This episode does a great job at both showcasing the MC's potential while also expressing why he's not quite superior. Ichigo is often lucky enough to challenge those who in some way, shape or form, hold back. Kenny was literally waiting for him to get strong enough. Byakuya, in his Arrogance, kept withholding power, thinking Ichigo wasn't worthy. (Even at the end, Byakuya was still standing and could use Kido, whereas Ichigo was on his last leg)

AyooItsQ

Remember the white and black ichigo that was talking to him and training him internally with zangetsu that’s where the hollow mask came from and it first appeared when Ohio was training with urahara and ichigo was turning into a hollow with the chain

Izzy

Not gonna spoil anything, but you guys unfortunately won’t know exactly and completely why ichigo is built so different for literally several hundred more episodes lol so don’t get too eager, it will all be revealed in time!

Ultimate Winner

I feel like the mature artstyle/design is making Ron think Bleach is darker than it is lmao (early episodes). Every episode he thinks someone gonna die 😂

Laz

Definitely the inspiration for Sukuna!

Castiel_01x

At this point, you should realise that Tite Kubo is not the type of guy to kill off people easily. 18:25 So basically nobles have more spiritual pressure than others in normal cases. That does not mean others cannot have more spiritual pressure than nobles. Byakuya said that even among the nobles, only one in several generations can achieve Bankai. This further ties in with the stagnation theme that Soul Society is supposed to represent. 42:04 I don't think Ichigo outright beat Byakuya because Byakuya could have fought even more with Kido, and he was ok enough to use Flash Step as well. Ichigo was on his last legs, on the other hand. It was a clash of resolve, and based on hindsight, we know that Byakuya did not have any resolve in killing Rukia. Urahara said, without resolve, Your blade gets dull, and that's what's happened with Byakuya. That means Byakuya was not at his full power when he fought Ichigo. 43:11 I hate the anime. In the manga, Byakuya was surprised at Ichigo because he reminded him of Kaien. 49:27 Ichigo did not beat Kenpachi. Kenpachi was the last man standing in a fair fight. Kenpachi said he lost only because he lost in his ideals.

Ilsuk Yang

So, bankai isn't a move, it's the ultimate form of a zanpakutou. A bankai could have many moves, it literally depends on the bankai and how adept a shinigami is at using that bankai. It's basically up to the shinigami and his/her zanpakutou spirit to unlock the full capabilities of a bankai, which is why it takes so long to master. This is why Ichigo doesn't know any moves in his bankai and only knows how to access the hyper speed functionality of his bankai. He's too inexperienced with his bankai. Also, with Byakuya's bankai, don't forget that you've seen those glowing pink-red swords before when he used them on Renji. Byakuya is one of the most interesting and complicated characters in Bleach. You have to kind of separate what he says and what he actually does to see what he actually thinks. Meeting Ichigo definitely changed this man.
