Boruto is actually so talented, I think it shows Naruto’s conviction of trusting the new gen is solid even with the other kids too, everyone just advances as generations go on In a previous ep, the current Mizukage was worried about the new threat cause the new gen hasn’t experienced war, and it just shows these kids think war is easy to start, need to be higher than the other lands, etc. it’s just being very naive I say😓

You guys remember Naruto trolling a kid looking person when all the tailed beasts met. It's in the episode where Naruto and Kurama worked together for the first time. Also we saw the baby version of tailed beasts. Naruto trolled yagura about kissing a girl, not knowing the taste of ramen etc. 😂

Might as well finish this arc since you started it already but once you get to the next Manga canon episode (39) I highly recommend skipping straight to the next manga canon (53) and doing polls for later anime canon arcs

In my opinion—and before the rage of the overly sensitive, it's just an opinion—I think starting the series with the characters before becoming genin wasn’t the best choice. To make things interesting without them just getting beat up all the time, they made all the kids look like mini-geniuses, already mastering skills their parents only learned much later. Some might say that’s cool and shows how strong they are, but to me, it feels a bit forced. If everyone is a genius, then no one is a genius. As someone watching this for the first time, it bothers me a little, but I get that it was probably a way to keep things from being boring.

I want to express my thoughts and feelings about this show so far as a first time watcher. Brace yourself, it’s gonna be a lot! I know this is not the same as Naruto, I know it’s a different time, I know now that these are filler episodes and I’m enjoying the journey for what it is, but I gotta say, this show sucks lmfao I know it will get better, I know Kishimoto steps in and helps making it better, but is it just me or does this show feel soulless? From the beginning on Naruto, you were invested in the characters, the world, the stories, everything that this show is lacking. Again, I know it’s a new writer and it’s not meant to be compared to Naruto, but man if you are gonna follow up a goated show like Naruto, you better not miss. I’m not saying to give me the same as Naruto, but give me some character development, show me Boritos growth, show me his training, show me his friendship build up, it just jumped right in and he’s already so advanced and fighting alone to avoid a war!? Lmfao Naruto and his squad always had Kakashi with them fighting the big battles, it was so far ahead till you saw Naruto and the rest of the characters fighting on their own without a Sensei. They were at all times under surveillance of an adult and on this show it feels like they are just going around the world doing their own thing. The music on the show sucks, the vibe of the villages sucks, and yeah it’s cool, they are advanced and all, but it took away so much aura from the show. If they are so technically advanced, why don’t they have guns and magic items lol I know on this universe, “Jutsu” is basically the ultimate weapon, but it just feels so outta place to me. Some of the character designs are cool, but other are so lazy and wack, like they give background character vibes. Again, I know now that these episodes are filler, but damn the whole show has felt like a filler, that’s now how you should start a show 😭 I feel like if all these characters died on the next episode, I’d feel nothing. Okay… with that being said, yeah, I’m still watching and I will continue to watch, I enjoy watching even tho I don’t like it. Tbh, I enjoy the show when the Naruto characters show up, cuz I have an emotional connection to them, then rest of the episodes I’m just waiting for them to show up again. I wish this show would’ve started giving up a smooth transition into the new times and the new generation. Show us the training, the development of the technology and the new world of ninjas. Imma just add this, they did my girl Anko dirty 😭 this whole thing just feels so lazy and fan made. I’m done ranting, I’m sorry yall! I never do this, but I just had to express myself out loud. I know better times for the show are coming. Please someone that is all caught up tell me it will be okay 😭 lol If you read this far, damn! 🤣 thanks for your attention lmfao

You two aren't alone. Shippuden only unveils part of Yagura's reign. But the academy ritual of killing fellow classmates was brought into existence by Yagura. He was a tyrant, but also the reason for his actions was slightly revealed, it was because he was being manipulated by Obito.

If Orochimaru and Kisame had a baby it would be Shizuma 😂 Kisame and Shizuma are apart of the same clan. This episode revealed his last name “Hoshigaki” same as Kisame’s. Yeah, Yagura (4th Mizukage) we really haven’t seen him much in Shippuden. He was both in filler and canon content. We mainly knew that Madara (well, Obito) manipulated him with the sharingan putting him under genjutsu. We then seen Yagura reanimated in the 4th great ninja war.

Yagura was the jinchuriki in the Hidden Mist VIllage who also happened to be the Kage, We learned from Zabuza and Haku that he formed a war against those with bloodlines in his village during the Wave arc. Zabuza tried to assassinate him, but failed and branded as a missing nin after Zabuza escaped. We also learned in Shippuden that Yagura was being controlled by Obito's Sharingan to do these things after Kisame met Tobi/Obito. This scene happens before Kisame's death.

Lots of hate on the anime, but Michelle and Ron seem to be enjoying it. IMHO Boruto and the manga to anime adaptations are interesting enough for me to keep me engaged. But the ANIME only arcs like with the class rep and the current Hidden Mist arc IMO felt so disconnected and filler ish to me that it made me drop the Anime until they finally reached the point where they adapted the movie and manga to the anime. Thanks to this channel, it’s giving me a reason to give all these episodes i skipped a shot 😂

This kinda pertained to the last drop & a bit of this episode drop but I have a few things to say. Glad to know that Michelle watches the filler. IMO for the long run, if you want more scenes of other minor characters or know their potential and abilities, they’re most likely going to be filler episodes (from what my memory can recall). You don’t have to react to them and could watch them on your own time if you guys want, but IMO think it’d be good for you guys to watch some of them (on or off recording) so you know and are aware of each character’s strength and capabilities. Although some comments are telling you to skip this arc,. I think it’s a good way to understand what kind of character Boruto (or any other characters) is during arcs like this; from his similarities and differences to Naruto. And of course you’ll be able to see his progress as a growing character. Also the fact that if you do skip arcs like these, sometimes there’s these characters that come back into the story, you won’t have no info on them or don’t know the connection our main characters have with them. Just like how you guys skipped the filler arc of Utakata (6 tails jinchuriki in Shippuden) and then watched the scene with Pain taking him away and not knowing the context or getting to know him & then he returned later as one of the reanimation and also Naruto finding out then that he was a jinchuriki also. But not hating you for skipping filler arcs but just something to be informed about and sharing my thoughts and opinion.

The hate Boruto gets isn’t fair. Naruto ended many many years ago and now it is Boruto pls. Yes it hurts that Boruto isn’t as phenomenal as Naruto, and it’s disappointing that our goats aren’t shining the way we expected. But Boruto tells a different story, it’s about a new gen growing up in a peaceful era thanks to the goats. Naruto is mostly filled with deep philosophical themes like the nature of good and evil, breaking the cycle of hatred, trauma and burden, war and its consequences, identity and recognition, loneliness, duty, fking PAIN, the will of fire dattebayo. Boruto lacks darkness, it is way more chill and it explores progress. It shows a modern shinobi world filled with tech and new challenges and up to these eps, I see It also expands on themes like friendship, family and love. Im not ignoring Boruto’s anime flaws, I believe Pierrot could have waited longer before airing it and maybe adopted a seasonal format like many modern anime. Still I find anime canons and fillers enjoyable. I like how it explores the world in greater depth, develops side characters, and takes its time building the story. Btw I absolutely love the reaction thanks to Michelle and Ron for giving my boy Boruto a chance
