this anime canon not manga, I don't even consider this canon tbh. This was airing during Naruto 20 years anniversary and animation company wanted to do something special, and Kishimoto gave them idea of time traveling and other stuff, so not really canon, but still hits different as a viewer

Yeah, that's denki's dad. So, now it's a loop. It's confirmed that boruto really did meet kid naruto by traveling to the past and that's how denki's dad got the idea about trains. So, we don't know which came first.

Michelle is right Kishimoto really loves sci-fi, this arc specifically was made for the 20th anniversary of Naruto so I would say its canon but it's such a sweet arc

I love, love, love, that Sasuke can't even properly say why or what he was doing when he deserted to Boruto. Its an embarassing & painful memory at this point, and seeing Naruto & Sakura be in pain after he deserted probably disturbs him emotionally. They don't show his face at certain moments when his desertion is being discussed but I can only imagine what his face looks like before he steels himself and turns around. 😖😩

Oh man, it must be so hard for Sasuke to see young Naruto and hear how much he wants Sasuke to come back and how frustrated he is that he's too weak to bring him back. Seeing and hearing that, Sasuke must feel so guilty. If you pay attention, you'll see that Sasuke almost always turns away from the others (Naruto, Boruto, and Jiraiya) and stands slightly apart from them. It seems like Sasuke has such a hard time looking young Naruto in the eye because of all the guilt. And when he meets the young Sakura, you can see it too. Sasuke is so afraid to interact with her in any way because seeing her probably tears him apart inside. He knows perfectly well that Sakura has suffered far more emotional pain because of him than Naruto did. He uses the excuse that he and Sakura are far too close in the future and that interacting with her would therefore be far too risky, but we all know that in reality, he simply feels far too guilty to also look young Sakura in the eye.

First episode kinda reminded me of episode 311 from Shippuden "Prologue of Road to Ninja", its a filler episode where everyone goes to the bathhouse and is actually in the bath, not cleaning it like in this Boruto episode lmao. But its one of my favorite filler episodes its so good. Btw y'all definitely should check out the movie Road to Ninja eventually, its amazing and it's similar to this arc.

Look at it this way: Sannin <= sage mode Naruto < kuramachakra mode 1 Naruto < kurama chakra mode 2 Naruto < reainamated Madara < 10 tails Obito < 10 tails madara(1 eye rinnegan) < 6 paths sage mode naruto < 10 tails Madara(2 eye rinnegan) < kaguya < adult Naruto/Sasuke = urashiki With that in mind... Jiraiya is getting his cheeks absolutely fondled and clapped. Him even trying to help is pointless. Honestly, it's dumb how well Naruto and Boruto did tbh lol. I loveeee the slice of life aspects of this arc and it had so many great moments, but the fights just bother me. We're supposed to be watching gods fight, but it just feels like watching two jonin fight.

Im sorry but in what world is Adult Naruto and Sasuke more powerful then pre-final fight of Naruto and Sasuke??? They are literally objectively weaker. They don't have the markings anymore, they literally are not as strong as they were in Shippudan. The Fact that they struggle like they do with Kaguya and then somehow handle beings stronger then her in this with no explanation is absurd, but still doesn't mean they are actually stronger since they objectively have less power then they did before. I know what you may be thinking of in Naruto's future but Shippuden Naruto could have done that, but he didn't need to so that power is still something he had access too

It's just as you said, they individually fight beings as strong or stronger than kaguya with moderate difficulty and yet end of Shippuden, both of them were needed just to seal kaguya. Fighting her wasn't even an option. Boruto scaling is dumb, but it kinda speaks for itself. It's not just one or two things you can chalk up to an oversight in writing, it's pretty clear adult Naruto and Sasuke are more powerful than end of Shippuden. Look at my previous comment.if you can agree than Naruto is even remotely close to urashiki, then you must admit he's stronger than he was end of Shippuden. Is it stupid? Yes, but that's another story. It's like how kakashi is far stronger without his sharingan and no longer needs it for chidori. It's dumb, but they've explained and shown it to be the case. The only thing Naruto doesn't have that he had end of Shippuden is the truth seeking orbs.he still has six paths sage mode and it's been confirmed. More importantly, that's kind of a red herring cuz my entire point is talking about jiraiya. Remove end of series Naruto from the list if you want, it still is absurd jiriaya could throw hands with a god.
