FYI these are the shitty subs that rely on "localizing" the text, as opposed to the otheer sub which does a more literal translation of the original text. an example would be translating "Gangster" or "Gang-Star" to the italian "Primo Mafioso." There's a ton of other examples too, including right before Bucceriatti got hit the first time where an entire line of Bruno and Giornos dialogue just gets cut for no reason at all TLDR; The other Subs are better and more accurate and don't omit any lines

I'm pretty sure each ending song of Jojo's is picked by Araki himself (author). Araki just flexes his music and fashion taste through Jojo's, on the manga covers he makes the characters do popular and iconic fashion poses. Also a lot of music from Jojo's has gone viral through memes, the part 1 ending song Roundabout was everywhere and it was known as the "to be continued" meme. Also Giorno's theme song was viral for years and a lot of people who haven't even watched Jojo have heard it, you guys might have heard it somewhere too. They haven't played his theme song yet though but when they play it you might recognize it.

Fun fact about the song ending song choice: Araki picks the songs based on what he was listening at the time of him writing the parts. Jojo's is basically a tribute to his music library in not just the ending songs, but also character and stand names hahaha It's truly amazing.

All the stand names that are references to music are localized for American copyright law. If you listen to what is actually being said vs what is being shown in the subtitles you'll hear the actual stand name. "Golden Wind" is actually "Golden Experience" which is a Prince album. "Zipper Man" is actually "Sticky Fingers" which is a Rolling Stones album.

Also instead of this part having the MC be "JoJo" Giorno Giovanna is shortened to "GioGio" but I dont think the shortening is ever used in the show, he is always just called "Giorno". I hope you guys enjoy this part it's one of my favorites.

The mangaka of JoJo Hirohiko Araki specifically chooses the ending songs to reflect the themes, setting, or his personal musical taste during the manga's creation. Araki is a huge music fan, which is also why so many stands and characters are named or inspired by artists and songs. For example the design of Josuke in part4 is inspired by Prince. Part 5 was also created in the 90s, so it's pretty fun to see Araki's music taste throughout the parts.
