The CulturedGentleman

Robin in that little blue dress makes it SOOO hard to focus on anything else Sheeeeeesh

David Barron

We need to see the Ron-fro now. NEED.

Mayank Arora

The word "d***head" was inspired by the "Drill" Chinjao lol.

Gin

So many story strands happening. Even just at the Colosseum, there’s the Flare Flare fruit, Cavendish wanting to kill Luffy, Barto wanting to stop Barto for some reason, Chinjao’s grudge, Rebecca’s whole deal, the navy waiting outside, and even a Blackbeard commander. And that’s just one main part out of like 5.

leisuresoccer

Michelle was like just show me Usopp's side of the story is good enough, don't care about the others 🤣

lordjaggi

41:40 feeling like prime cell games.

Natthorn Rangseesakhon

The period 900 years ago (before the Void Century) and 800 years ago (right after it ended) has been mentioned a few times in One Piece. For example, in Robin’s backstory, people from her island tried to figure out what happened back then, but the World Government wiped them out. During the Skypiea arc, Robin finds a Poneglyph with info about the Void Century (900–800 years ago) and the Ancient Kingdom that existed back then though it seems like it got destroyed by some enemies???? Then in Sabaody, we learned that after the Void Century ended 800 years ago, the current World Government and the Celestial Dragons started ruling this world. Also, the Poneglyph in Fish-Man Island says someone named Joy Boy’s apology to the previous Mermaid Princess for not being able to fulfill a promise during the Void Century. And now in Dressrosa, it comes up again with the history between the Donquixote family and the Tontatta Kingdom (those little guys)

Bunie

Call me weird but Doffy is lowkey a hear me out

CallMeBibz

I’ll let you use that betting joke two more times before you have to cease

Chillin Raichu

Finally. I have something to eat my food to. I was starving.

Chillin Raichu

Never got into the cards, but I would love a complete open world One Piece game once it ends.

Chillin Raichu

Ron taking the toy’s side automatically has me rolling.

Chillin Raichu

Michelle think Garp is fodder bruh 😂

Mack

Kurofi

Open Chinjao was inspired by Open Seaame from the story of Ali baba and the 40 thieves lol

Chillin Raichu

Michelle like those little guys so much ♥️

Wsgyan

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Wsgyan

Wym hear me out the guy is clearly handsome

Wsgyan

16 years old boy btw

ahyeereen

I think ya'll need to add one more one piece schedule bc with this pacing it's torturing me 😭

Emil

when the times comes to open packs, will u do it on stream? would love to watch that <3

Pollitomafioso

mich and ron guys i love u so much ty for reaction <3

Lurrkes

i love drssrosa arc but not teh anime version that pacing was so bad i wish me 4 episod per upload to cover that pacing because 4 episodse are like 2-3 epidsodes befor dressrosa

Jay rellim

more ppl in luffy's crew need to learn haki to combat devil fruit powers smh

Taka

so many narratives going on all at once the gum gum whiplash is real bahaha they’re originally there to 1) trade with Doflamingo and 2) find samurai’s friend which Sanji is helping with. however 1) fails and now 3) Law is fighting above Green Bit while 4) Robin and Usopp encounter the Tontatta beneath Green Bit and join their cause. then there’s 5) Luffy in the colosseum for Ace’s fruit, 6) Zoro chasing his sword leads to looking for the ship then leads to 4). speaking of the ship 7) Brook, Chopper, Nami are in combat there, 8) Franky encounters a Toy Soldier, learns some dark truths about the island and connects with Zoro which is 4) as well that introduces 8) Tontatta history from 900 years ago. This is just the general idea too not going to the details of each narrative 😂

Usher

Look at the broght side. Imagine we had dressrosa with double drops💀💀

A LEE

“I’m all thumbs” meaning he is clumsy lol

Yaz

I’m with Michelle, the fights drag on too long. It’s the worst type of filler, I’d much rather have a fun world building than a fight that spans a dozen episodes.

Cameron Jones

Its very rare having a conquerors haki user, but its super rare to have 2 of them clashing

IcoNIC

I have to see long hair Ron lol

ao kaze

Have you noticed that Bartolomeo’s VA is the same as Shikamaru’s ?

Jose Flores

Great epd but I just realized it’s going to take 2 weeks before we get the ikyk 😩

Jose Flores

On the other hand One piece is back this week 🙌🙌

Luker

I love this arc but i cant defend the pacing at all lol

GoundG

It's kinda funny that the actor that's playing smoker in the live action went to audition thinking he was auditioning to play as Leo

takezoh

The pacings a little slow, this is my first time seeing dressrosa I’m ngl for me it’s not really that bad 😭 there’s a lot of different interesting things going on like they need to find the samurai, law and doffy, the army, the tournament and more.

Fellerz

Bro was looking like Glenn after Negan hit him the way Garp punched him

Bungkai

def gonna overshare my OPTCG card collection when we start catching up in OP :^)

I feel like one piece could take a book from other anime and rearrange scenes and stuff. For example, the Luffy vs Don Chinjao epi could been moved into 1 or 2 episode straught. We can have all the mystery stuff right after. Instead we have don vs luffy spread out like 6 episodes, then we get big episode at the end. It gives a lot of the storyline less flow when done if we copy manga 1 for 1. A good example is JJK. In the manga, the maki episode was not all in 1 go, I think we had the Hakari/Yuuji/Megumi stuff and Maki mixed together giving less of a flow. But anime took the liberty to take everything about Maki episode and put into 1 episode. Have the Megumi/Hakari/Yuuji stuff in the episode afters. Prob my biggest issue with one piece is sometime it jump back and forth with less flow. These event dont need to be happening simultaneously. The toy stuff, little people, Nami, and Law stuff is interwined so it makes sense to jump back and forth on that stuff. But Lucy stuff doesn't need to follow up every episode. Still like Dressrosa story, but the pacing/how its directed annoy me to no ends. but the manga version of Dressrosa is a fun read

Ultimate Winner

The Garp/Don Chinjao storyline is just meant to give more world-building and give Garp another relationship outside of Dragon, Luffy, Ace, and Roger. It makes to show how scary a Marine Garp was, how he impacted people outside of his main relationship while also giving Luffy a "personal" fight during Luffy's Lucy era. Oda does that sometime, he just add random relationship/fight/story that isn't too relevant in the current arc. It just to make the world feel bigger and a lot of stuff happen outside of Straw hat adventure

Adil Bots

When do they start watching 1000 year blood war ?

Michelle Lam

YES and we want to learn how to play on stream too

Luker

im glad you feel that way because thats exactly how i felt my first time watching it was my favorite arc for a while. I still love it but its just that now that im on patreon, i wait a week for the 6 one piece episodes and they are all just covering the Don chinjao fight LMAO

Mystico15

To be fair, during this time tue anime was so close to manga that they were adapting just one chapter per episode. So they didn’t have much of advantage to rearrange or fix things without causing some contradictions

Johlsss

Yeah, conquerors haki is rare. This is not a spoiler but conqueror haki users are below 30 🙂

PumpDaddyD

Her and her little people 😆
