Bro the sage of the six paths came to naruto and sasuke even after being dead for so long so Momoshiki's soul could still be around. Boruto and Kawaki aren't a pair Jigen/Isshiki said to the ten tails that "it's not yet time to feed the vessel isn't ready" and Boruto's and Kawaki's horns where different when he showed them being Otsutski's so they ain't fusing. If Jigen took over Kawaki's body Boruto would know cause they want to fight him together so if stuff went wrong he would know. Kaguya is sealed away she would have had to implant a Karma on someone and like Jigen and Kawaki they have to be suitable hosts Momoshiki was just lucky Boruto was a good vessel and he said to Boruto that he had some Otsustski genes with the Jogan eye.

This goes back to Ron saying that when Kawaki said "I'll send you to the same place I sent the seventh hokage Boruto" he could mean another dimention. Now that we know the Karma is capable of transportation ninjutsu it's posible. And when Kawaki said he can do what Jigen we saw him in the first ep with does black rod as a staff and Boruto had a Katana.

Momoshiki left the karma on Boruto before he died. Karma is the Otsutsuki's spirit. That's why Boruto is Momoshiki's vessel and Kawaki is Isshiki's vessel

FYI 214 is the start of cannon. Kishimoto the goat writer of naruto returns. Everything before this is fanfiction and kishimoto has slowly been retconning ALOT of this information over the last couple of years.

@Byakuran That is false. It is true that Kishimoto wrote the framework for Boruto, but the story is ultimately being developed by Ikemoto once Kodachi leaves. From the official Naruto website -> https://naruto-official.com/en/news/01_2320 Kishimoto: It was a completely different workflow. For Naruto, I was in charge of both the story and the main illustrations while Ikemoto helped with things like illustrating backgrounds and drawing shadow doppelgangers. For Boruto, Ikemoto is completely in charge of the story and main illustrations. It really is Ikemoto's manga.

How is that a spoiler? You literally see momoshiki give boruto the karma when he dies and you literally know this whole time that kawaki got his karma from Jigen/ishikki. It’s literally common sense lol.

Manga readers know everything about 60% of what lead to the fight between Boruto and Kawaki in episode 1. The fact that both of you are making such good predictions (not saying whether you are right or wrong) is insane. I’d advise that you go back to the first minute of episode one and try to decode everything using what you know up until now. I believe that this is the arc that Kishimoto (the original author of Naruto and Naruto shippuden) took over from the former writer. And let me just tell you that HE COOKED. The next few episodes are going to feel just as intense as the best episodes of Shippuden and Naruto. Can’t wait!!!

We knew up until this point that Boruto had the Karma, but it wasn't revealed that he is Momoshiki's vessel. While it might be obvious to some people, it wasn't spelt out properly until later in the arc. I just think it's better not to clear things up until they've actually seen all the relevant episodes. Let them get things wrong and be suprised later when all the information is revealed
