I’m not sure why this mini Sasuke story is considered “manga canon” since it’s an adaptation of a light novel, it’s not in the manga lol. But technically it is canon within the official continuity of the story. But I’m always on board with Sasuke centered episodes lol

I wish they adapted the full story of these light novels. The decisions post Kara arc were questionable for sure lol, but these episodes are still a good watch. W canon!

In addition to the novel, Kishimoto also adapted this story into a 2 vol manga series with the same title 'Sasuke Retsuden'. Why is this arc also considered canon in the manga

I don't think they stated it in the anime, but the crystal and the ring that Sasuke suddenly has are made by him using Earth Release, according to the Naruto Retsuden light novels.

Studio Pierrot started production back up of Boruto in April 2025. So we should see the anime start back up in the not-too-distant future. 🤞

I MAY BE WRONG. So I just want to say this. I don't think it is a spoiler, but wasn't it established wayyyyy back in Naruto that if someone defeated a tailed beast (killed it) that it would just come back eventually? Which is why they started to seal them inside people so that they could harness the power and not have to keep refighting them over and over?

Some Boruto fans understand ur decision. The reason you & most fans enjoyed the anime canon (from eps 1 through the episodes leading up to the Kawaki & Kara) is because the anime canon’s story was consistent with the manga. But after eps 230, the anime canon’s storyline completely diverged from the manga canon. When these episodes aired, that’s when fan anger toward Studio Pierrot peaked because they ruined the pacing & quality of the story, leading the studio to decide to take a long hiatus from Boruto to give them time to gather enough manga material and avoid repeating the same mistakes. The dissatisfaction of your Patreons has undoubtedly affected your mood to some extent. But I hope that outside of your content creation schedule, you’ll take the time to watch the Himawari-Kawaki arc (261–273). This arc is lighthearted & entertainin focusing on Himawari. Also the Labyrinth Game arc (274–281) will bring back the other members of Kara. The writing for the Labyrinth Game arc is the best among the other anime canon arcs

You're right kushina mentioned that when she talked with naruto. But thats what happens when a user dies along with the tailed beasts. Supposedly bayron mode fuses their chakra together and makes the situation different

@Randy Hildebrand, I'd personally love them to make a short spinoff anime incorporating these 3 light novels. I think there should be enough content in them to make a short-run anime.

Yes!!! This is not after loosing Kurama... Sasuke is in a certain place and said "last time I was there, it was when Naruto was sick", and "Kurama said the sage had the same illness" so, it's a throw back to "that time" when Naruto still had Kurama 😊 And of course he's worldwide known, but come o !!! Who would suspect Uchiha Sasuke could be "detained" in random sh...y place like that 🤣 And Sasukeeee 🤩😍 I looove him!!! 💜 I'll watch anything with him!!!

I understand the decision not to watch, but it’s a shame you missed the episodes focusing on Himawari and Kawaki, to me, the way their relationship develops is important, and we get to see a bit more of Hima at the Academy...
