Brandon

Ron got some competition 😭

Ahmad

When are the double drops

CowboyBinky

i actually cant wait till yall get to Z.

Fellerz

Dragon ball and Dragon ball Z is all one in the Manga (519 chapters), it's all called "Dragon Ball" they only separated it for the Anime.

yubél

man i missed DB so much, glad i get to watch this again with you after so many years. Yeah the show is so funny it reminds me of older one piece where it was more comedic too.. This also pick up later on but ultimately yeah DBZ is the peak of the OG show. Super is also great later on

Volt

Glad yall are enjoying it so far but don't get too caught up in the Z stuff since it's all the same manga anyway, the change your expecting will be gradual so just enjoy the adventure. Also like Ron said at the end there is some layer of truth to (mostly) every joke sort of like in Love is War so there is important lore/ character building even in comedic moments

Usher

Goku is the og janken user😤

Usher

Fun fact the attack at 19:49 literally tore a piece of the manga panel from the impact

Usher

Bro the tone of disrespect when the narrator says they haven't seen the last of YAMCHA"😂

Aman

problem is at this 3 episode a week pace it will take 1 year to finish dragon ball. But you can end by November and get to the real amazing and emotional DBZ if you did 6 drops a week but i know MOD said no and does not deserve 6 drops, but even 4-5 drops can make it better and quicker.

Tacosareneat

"I thought Yamcha would've been a woman"👀👀👀😂. Yamcha already catching strays from Ron. This is gonna be a long series, lol.

MajinVegeta420

Big facts...dont get me wrong Dragon ball is goated and the journey's gunna be great and super fun for them to see but fuck i cant wait for Z lol

Marteze

Dragon ball deserves double drops😭

SpiderPigHero

Same with Naruto, the manga is all just Dragon Ball and there is no Z manga.. Boruto would be more like Dragon Ball Super I guess

phoenixkaito

Double drops for Dragon Ball maybe? Like replacing with Boruto (not sure if you guys are resuming Boruto episodes or not) or afterwards? Dragon Ball is a HUGE anime too with a total of like 573 episodes (main, Z, Super) so that would be nice otherwise it'll take forever

Nero Luv

Yamcha my favorite of the og’s 😭 came out the gate handing Goku his first whoopin since his granddaddy . (Idc if Goku was nerfed by hunger)

Mikkel

personaly i would say Dragon ball and Dragon ball Z is in the same category, same as Naruto and Naruto Shipuden. for the reason that they only reason that Shipuden and DBZ is not just Naruto and Dragon ball is the anime split the series up in 2. They are bought one long manga. and the agrument about Boruto is that it is a new manga, like the newer Dragon Ball Super.

Mikkel

funny thing about the Dragon Ball Z is, when they split up the anime they wanted to call it Dragon Ball 2. but an error(graphical i believe) made it look like a Z so the translated version got translated into Dragon Ball Z and not Dragon Ball 2. not the only mistranslation in that series that has become a definition of something.

Berry

before dragon ball he wrote dr.slump which was a gag manga and was very popular

IcoNIC

Y’all might be on to something. Do they do that in dragon ball z 🧐🤣

Joao Pucci

Dragon ball and Dragon ball Z = the same manga, Dragon ball (Just like Naruto and Shippuden) Dragon Ball GT = A filler anime only sequel Dragon Ball Kai = Dragon Ball Z in HD, without fillers and different OST Dragon Ball Super = Canon sequel to dragon ball and a different manga

Anthony

Double drop please

Naruto Uzumaki

“Yamcha will train goku” gotta be top 5 funniest things uttered by anyone of all time 😂😂

kipp3 3

They're already dropping 3 a week...

Retro

Doubles plssssss I rarely ask for it but this lowkey deserves it it’s so fun watching with you guys

Fellerz

Kai still has a little filler, just less then OG Z and didn't include: Dragon Ball Daima = Set between Z & Super

Fellerz

Took a little less than a year, probably 10 months and a couple days.. His brother just finished it with the same 3 episodes a week routine and is about to start Z on Friday

Aman

Still too long needs to be double or triple drops even if dont deserve, they said it themselves its like a kids show, they love it though with the comedy and humor. But when dragonball although important for history and understanding, its nowhere near what DBZ is, basically a different anime, better music ost falconer next level, better fights, animation, story and just general emotions. But dragonball has the funny comedy win over it that's about it. We have to wait 10 months for this to be over? Dislike that, but it is what it is.

Godisus

For those who don’t know, Dragon Ball is the anime archetype that made the Naruto world archetype. they kept asking in episode one what kind of world is this and that’s the point it’s not a “world” yet Goku is the pioneer of anime the foundation of Naruto started because of what Goku did at the end of the of the franchise the same with my hero academia the symbol of peace archetype “all might” comes from what Naruto did at the end of the show by becoming a beacon. All these shows are interconnected. Starting with Dragon Ball. Goku is the OG of all of these main characters. If it wasn’t for Goku, there would be no village/community archetype in later shows like Naruto. If that makes sense.

Godisus

These shonen anime’s are teaching you step-by-step through each show how to achieve world peace via the Buddhist holistic chakra system evolving from each generation. For example, Goku represents the sacral chakra. That’s why his main color scheme is orange. The next generation of main characters. Like Naruto represents the solar plexus, which is the next chakra up. Then my hero academia Daku represents the heart chakra. Each show each starts off in a world the last main character built at the end of his series. It will blow your mind when you put two and two together yourself

kirk poss

The fear of women debuff hahaha

kidCash3

Gokus staff being called a stick is craz cmon now

MajinVegeta420

yeah The "yamcha must be the one who trains/teaches goku" line had me dying too. why is ron lying to us and fake reacting he's CLEARLY already seen it and knows what happens lol XD < 3

Dragonball verse is my favorite of all time .. bcuz it’s just good .. not too complicated..but still deep lore .. nostalgia.. just the feels u get from watching it are great .. BUT Naruto is my favorite anime of all time if that makes sense 😂 i acknowledge Dragonball as like the goat (MJ) .. but my goat is also Kobe (Naruto) 🤷🏾‍♂️

K Kasher

Bro said it’s his favorite anime It’s gonna be the truth one day
