Damn I clicked so fast lmao. & sooo glad y'all are watching ep 1 again🤌🏽. Any chance for a double drop for the finale tho👀😬

Ben Stephenson

I love that every episode is 'the best episode yet!'. That's the Stein's Gate experience

Guille

Thank god i didn't go to bed yet! Can't wait for the finale! PS: I wouldn't watch ep. 1 after this one... It will feel kinda spoilery with your current knowledge of the series... if anything it should be after 23

Usher

Its a 100% worth it to replace next drop just to get the reaction

kaiwenoff

Agreed, you shouldn't watch episode 1 now imo.

Guille

Actually a good idea would be watching ep 1 and the last bit of ep 23β in the same sitting, there is not much there, 23β was good as a refresher when it came out (years after og sg) but since you are watching it all in one go it doesn't add much. Watch them after 24 or 25 of course, dunno if you are doing 25 after this or after sg 0, i prefer release order... are you guys doing the movie? it's not that great but it does add a concept that enhances the sg 0 experience

Tacosareneat

Really? I disagree. There's nothing in EP 1 that spoils anything. There's just a lot of moments like "this doesn't make any sense, but the fact that I'm being told to rewatch this means it must be important", which is a good thing. The intention of the finale is that the viewer remembers the first episode enough for the moments in the finale to hit hard, which they don't, since they watched the season over the course of a few months while watching many other shows. A lot of the moments in the finale won't hit for them at all bc they won't remember them.

LeNiarfe

This is why this show is my favorite show of all time. It’s like the perfect anime, it hits you on every level of emotion and the characters are so great that you feel like you are part of this journey with them, you fall in love with every single character. I thought the same thing when I finished the show, like how is it not super well known!? Having a favorite show underrated like this is a flex. The beginning is as important as the end, that’s Steins Gate, you should do a double drop 👀

Spanky5940

Do not watch episode one next. Just watch the last episode then watch episode one

Uncancellable Reacts

Class Time Sushi Squad! Did You Know That Steins;Gate Is Actually A Season 2 And is Part of The SciADV Series! The "Real" Season 1 is Called Chaos;Head And Takes Place 1 Year Prior to The Events of Steins;Gate. Even Tho Chaos;Head Does Have An Anime it Wasnt Well Recieved Because The SciADV Series as a Whole Are Visual Novel Games and Chaos;Head Was Adapted Poorly Due to it Being Animated The Same Time The VN Was Being Made. They Learned Thier Lesson And For Their Sequal Steins;Gate They Waited Until The VN Was Finished to do an Anime Adaptation. The Only Issue With The Anime Adaptation Of Steins;Gate is That They Removed All Names, Events And Characters of The First Series and Made Steins;Gate Anime Feel Like it Was Standalone Unlike The VN!

G

Hi i think youll have a good experience no matter what, but to keep things authentic i think you guys should just finish the show in its intended order. I think after that watching ep 1 would be cool to see your reaction. Watching ep 1 at this point feels too meta. I would rather you guys watch it the way it was release vs watching ep 1 now because ppl are saying it. Either way itll be a good time :)

G

Also Kurisu and Okabe are such a goated duo ;-; this ep always breaks me

KuyaWuya

I've always knew that the SciADV series were connected but how closely related is Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate are?

🩷🖤Kandy Kay🖤🩷

GUYS PLS WATCH THE OVA - EPISODE 25 AFTER YOU FINISH ALL 24 EPISODES IM BEGGING YOU WAAHHH😭🩷

malloc

You should watch episode one after episode 23

Aman

Sorry but who told them to watch episode 1? It only makes sense after finale to watch episode one, watching episode 1 again means nothing just waste of time, i question the community who tell them wrong things sometimes

Joao Pucci

Watching episode 1 now makes no sense. In fact it might even spoil what is to come.

KD

boosting this

James

It’s a little bit of a stretch to call the different games in the SciAdv series seasons even though they take place in the same universe.

James

You guys need to tell some of the other reaction channels to start watching Steins;Gate without a poll

Uncancellable Reacts

They are so closely related that events of chaos;head are spoken of in steins;gate but overall your can technically play both VN without knowing either

Uncancellable Reacts

Well if you look at it like a show like white lotus it would technically be a season 2. Events that happen in chaos;head do trickle down into steins;gate!

Bungkai

1. please watch episode 1 AFTER you finish the season 2. Watch steins gate 0 :^)

Bungkai

i disagree, it is spoilery for a bit and in general not worth it for first-time viewers. Just watch it for the intended narrative and emotional payoff

James

I recommend saving the movie for last. If you talk to The React Pack, they’ll probably recommend the same thing.

Onorio reyes

Don’t watch episode 1 after this

Kayso

Loving the romance, who would’ve thought. This is right up Michelle’s alley too. But I’ve always noticed Okabe and Christina relationship and interactions developing at a certain rate and becoming deeper. I feel like if Okabe had a choice he would save both Christina and Mayuri since they’re both important to him. Mayuri is like a little sister to him. The thing is what if he can’t save them both and only has to choose one? Idk man this show is a mindf*ck 🤯 I’m assuming next reaction is just gonna be a rewatch of ep 1. Looking forward to rewatching it with y’all because I finished the rest of the series normally. I feel like rewatching ep 1 might help me out too and realize certain things

CurseMark4Life

You're right it isn't talked about enough nowadays cause most have seen it at this point. There's a reason it's been one of the highest rated anime on my anime list for years.

Go Raon

Don’t watch episode 1 after this , do it after finale

SomeoneElse

Steins;Gate is definitely not talked about enough. It's incredible.

Kelp

So after this we watching sentenced to be a hero right 👀
