It is possible that Roxy also namedropped Laplace in the early episodes, i believe. Anyway, i advise to pay attention to the lore in general. You will explore a lot of world, meet and hear about a lot of characters. I know it's weird to say it like this when you're already on 6th episode, but i can see that you're in fact enjoying it, and you're past some of those things other people warned you about, but it didn't sway you from watching, so i believe when you reach the recent episodes, it will land high in your top. P.S. About the whole 'jobless' discussion you had early in the episode, in the previous episode after they got rescued from the kidnapping and Eris aproves Rudeus, the narrator (Rudy) says something along the line of "I finally landed my first ever job".

Eris is pronounced almost exactly like heiress like the daughter of a noble which she kinda is feom what it seems lol.. however she does have a nickname in the show that's a little easier to pronounce which is pronounced Eiry like Air-E or like Fairy with E instead of F

The pacing at which the reveal the small lore details makes it feel so immersive, like it’s ancient knowledge that it’s really hard to come by. But you learn how deep the lore really goes the more you watch. It’s soo good

Oh and you can just say Eris’s name normally like with an English accent, it wouldn’t be wrong. That’s just the Japanese accent from the VAs but if a word sounds like it comes from a different country or something then that’s how you should pronounce it. Like Paul and Zenith for example.
