Phen

The best anime has finally ended 😪the journey was real, I started watching you guys because of Bleach

Veil

Someone else pointed out on Twitter that the cast name says Kurosaki Orihime in the ED

lvsgn

i cried…..

Phen

To be fair even tho I’m sad the anime ended, we’re still getting a whole new arc in the manga will all the old characters that died and some new ones which is cool

Brandocommando

On behalf of all the bleach fans and to all the sushi squad members it’s been one hell of a ride…….to Ron and Michelle thank you for not only reacting to this series, but you gave me the chance to relive my childhood through your eyes……and to Tite Kubo thank you for such a generational series that will forever have a place in my heart. BANKAI ⚔️ 🧡

Reinier Daäda

Thank you guys so much for starting Bleach almost two years ago now. I really enjoyed reliving the moments i watched back when i teen 15 years ago. It was so special to experience the high highs and cry together at some of the lows, i’m gonna miss this ride but i’ll cherish Bleach and the moments we Bleach fans got to share together🙏🏽 Thank you Ron and Michelle and thank you Kubo Sensei🫶🏽

lvsgn

Bishop

You guys should watch Kubo series he made after this Burn the Witch it’s short only a couple of episodes.

Raden

22 years... I remember watching Bleach on Cartoon Network😂 What an amazing end arc to an amazing series. I now consider TYBW to be the best animated arc of all time. Truly a masterpiece in production and animation. Thank you Kubo for creating such an amazing world, story, and characters. If this is truly it and we never get the Hell arc, its been an amazing ride yall ✌️

Raden

This has not been officially confirmed in any way to my knowledge. All we can do is hope Kubo chooses to continue the story

Seven

Bro 😭

Bishop

Manga ended in 2016

adam john peters

In the light novels they explain the soul king situation kinda shocked they didn't include how they solved that issue

Phen

Bleach manga actually didn’t end as long as you guys think, it only ended in 2016. And now Kubo is continuing the manga with the new arc that includes their kids which is cool

Antwoin White

Plz no fairy tell it is the most plot power of friendship show ever 🤣

Wektor

Yhwach take soul king place

Bishop

If you want you can read the chapter that comes after this other than that there is a novel too

2026-10-27 22:00 Some details I wanted to bring up cause I thought they'd add that in the anime but didn't: In the last episode, we saw that Yhwach saw his own death from a vision Haschwalth showed him but passed it as just a dream/nightmare. People theorized that Haschwalth was the one that made it look like a dream to fool Yhwach because while he had the Almighty, he saw that the world Yhwach sought for didn't have a place for the Quincies as they were all dead but saw that by helping Ichigo and his team, they themselves will live to pass along the Quincy bloodline. Also when Yhwach took away Ichigo's Quincy powers along with the Hollow that came with it, Ichigo got those powers back after he laid the final blow to him What they omitted from the manga that I thought they'd go into in the anime was how Yhwach came to be. As Yhwach was born into the human world by the Soul King, he was deprived of all of his senses, he was blind, mute, and paralyzed. When humans found baby Yhwach and touched him, they realized that they were somehow blessed, sickness would be cured and they felt strength, and essentially were the ones that named him Yhwach, after a God. When those people died, power would flow back to the baby and he would "cured" of his disabilities and would be able to see and hear and move for the first time, but only for a short time. He had no choice but to continue the cycle of giving power and taking them back because he became fearful of the void, of death, which is also his biggest reason for the war. Yhwach would always claim to be fighting for a world for his people to belong to but he was just wanted to create a world he wouldn't have to be scared in. Also Kazui is a being also born from all things as he's Ichigo's kid and has Orihime's broken abilities. They never mentioned this in the manga but on their night novel but Ichibe from Squad Zero ressurected the rest of Squad 0 like Ichigo did with Ichibe and used the corpse of Yhwach after Ichigo killed him as the "Soul King" so they never needed Ichigo to begin with.

Bishop

Ichigo works at the clinic

IcoNIC

They even let Orochimaru come to the wedding 🤣🤣🤣

Str8vib3s

alright now for respect of bleach, yuyu hakusho has to be next in line, naruto and bleach token inspiration from it and their opening is one of the best of all time, i’m talking competing with unravel from tokyo ghoul or anything naruto /bleach or even Lisa created

Carlgamii

This is how the manga ended, there are many plotholes that are answered in the novels. However , i do enjoy this bittersweet ending just cuz it has you in the feels if the anime ends here id be happy with it, even though I still want more. I am sad but I am glad that it happened. As for the foot it is more symbolic than anyones actual foot it just supposed to be a representation of those that walk with courage/brave"ry" and thus defeating despair or in spite of the despair.

Flyconchords

So just so yal know this probably isnt the end. Im sure yall have heard of the hell arc. There is a short one shot from the 20th anniversary id love to see yall react to I know yall havent done that but it'd be cool since unless they go anime only with the arc itll take at least 5 years+ till its animated. On top of that theres ton of bleach adjacent material. So theres Cant Fear Your Own World light novels which follows Shuhei ding an investigation into the direct after effects of TYBW, who the new Soul King is and more about the noble clans. For the Slice of life stuff theres We Do Knot Always Love You, a light novel about Rukia and Renjis wedding. In terms of anime, theres also a spin off called Burn The Witch that follows two girls in the Western Branch of the Soul Society. Its more centered around magic and dragons.

Soul chain

Can’t wait for burn the witch

Bishop

3 episodes

jeremychavez

Ichika is a combination of ichigo and rukia, Rukia named her child after her buddy 😭😭😭😭😭......some of us like to tell ourselves

LuisaMiNami

agree with you Ron, there are a few plot holes . final ep. could have been better, but the manga didn't have much either. im glad ths previous episodes were exceptional

Da'yuane Antoine

I was 14 when i first started Bleach, im 29 now 😢

TheRealN

There’s 3 books that is a sequel to the war so it’s before this episode. The main character is the 69 guy.

bryantbtc

what a journey it was with bleach... now we cope with kubo coming back with hell arc

Masterprick1

I don't think there was really a place to bring it up naturally in the episode, still sad.

Masterprick1

To answer your non-plot questions, Orihime works at a bakery and she also took the Kurosaki last name, Ichigo works from home and is a translator. The questions regarding the Soul King can be found in "Can't Fear Your Own World" light novel.

D.G.

To answer some of your questions, check out the "No Breathes From Hell" (Chapter 68.5) one-shot anniversary manga chapter from 2021.

Silent King

this is the show that got me into anime, im so sad its over

Oakley

You took the words out of my mouth. 👍

Pandrix

Still think they're gonna include it in a new arc, Kubo and the staff have hinted at more Bleach in the future so

Pandrix

Please watch the Bleach movies and the spinoff Burn the witch as well

Dwayne Townsend

One piece I don’t think is the longest technically.. I think it’s detective Conan but I could be wrong .. and it’s still on going

niyaris

I am 99% sure that the landscape we see at 23:57 and then after credits is hell! Super cool way to tease the no breaths from hell arc!

Masterprick1

There is another novel called "We Do Knot Always Love You" that is about Rukia and Renji's wedding. You also learn the identity of the current Soul King and a bit of information about what Yoruichi and Komamura are doing after the war. Sadly that one is untranslated.

SpartanManJDOGG

pretty funny that you would think the manga had more information

Jonnathan lema

I'm usually one of the quiet people here lol, but this is my favorite anime, so I had to comment and share. I've been watching/ reading manga since I was about 10 years old.

Just_a_guy

I fucking love Bleach. Ichigo will be missed

Dwayne Townsend

This felt like the naruto the last ending kinda ending with us seeing the kids of the future … somethings were left open ended I think like how Aizen survived … who’s the soul king now etc but I’m ok with that I still think the story was elite and the anime ended top tier… my guess is maybe ichibe became the soul king 🤷🏾‍♂️ he’s still alive from what I remember

shinigamiO.O

I was 15 in September 2006 when I started watching the English dub on Adult Swim. That was coincidentally when I started watching anime in general and the beginning of Bleach airing in the US. I would record every episode on our DVR and watch with my little brother. It went on hiatus on episode 52 during the height of the Soul Society arc so I discovered fan subbed websites to continue watching. I didn’t even know what filler was so I totally believed the Bount arc was actually a part of Bleach. 😅 I got to marathon the English sub up to Orihime’s kidnapping and have been following weekly since. It’s been a 20-year journey. I hold out hope for adaptations of We Do Knot Always Love You, Can’t Fear Your Own World, Spirits Are Forever With You, and the true serialization of the Hell arc.

Hotdog

I remember them saying they were planning to watch it but that was awhile ago. Hopefully they watch it soon since it's short.

shinigamiO.O

Ichigo makes money in SS as a substitute soul reaper. He’ll get that money when he passes way. Lol But for real, Ichigo is an English translator that works from home and Orihime works part-time at the bakery. That way Ichigo and Orihime can have plenty of time with Kazui. 🥰 And another bit of trivia: Ichigo asked Orihime out in college and proposed after he graduated. I really want to see all of that, but I doubt we ever will.

shinigamiO.O

You sure about 22 years? Lol It started airing on Adult Swim in October 2006. But yes, amazing show and Kubo is a master class creator. I cross my fingers for that Hell arc. 🤞

Cooking Ron

The manga ended in 2016 so there was FaceTime

dzuudo

Bleach holds special place in my heart which no anime ever has and I doubt ever will. Love from first sight. I pressed play button, I heard the first opening and from there on I witnessing the best I have ever seen. I just love everything it has to offer. I’ll never stop loving it. It’s the most influential anime in my life. Not sad at all. Super grateful Tite Kubo made this masterpiece.

ispeckz--

What a fun journey from beginning to end! The ending was so bittersweet but overall I loved it and was an amazing send off for the show. You guys should definitely check out Burn the Witch now that you’re done with Bleach. It’s in the same universe as Bleach and will have future content

Subieflow1318

Fairy tail is actually good definitely give it a shot

Chayanne Acosta

I was a kid watching bleach alongside many other anime like Inuyasha and Naruto on toonami. Man those were the days.

trey dejesus

Ya should read the one shot chapter

Stefan

Yeah, tbh TYBW felt a bit rushed. Feels like they overcompensated for the slow pacing in the old bleach and rushed it a bit. And for sure the ending should have been longer

Lano

Next up is Hell arc manga , but let’s hope they animate the novels . And also at this point Zaraki the goat is the strongest (pure) soulreaper ever

Jonny

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't there a Hell Arc that is coming in the manga?

lordjaggi

There's no confirmation for that

inspyR

Don't Getsuga because its over. Shikai because it happened. The true Bankai were the friends we made along the way. We are BLEACH

Volt

I do hope they do a special episode like what MHA did but that's pretty much copium, even though the content in this episode was great there's still a lot of unanswered questions without confirmation of anything more

Ygjez

End of an era. Thank you Tite Kubo 🙏🏿😭

Mando23

Damn it hurt to see this series end

Indifferent Denji

Cant remember if the face time was in the manga but tybw ended in 2016 so facetime was a thing but it should have been like 480p😭

Ryan J

Started bleach at 16 am now 35

Aus

Want to say thank you to you guys for being my favorite reactors and for this amazing journey You might recall but I had left a comment mentioning how I caught up from like Bleach episode like 290 something all the way in the same week when I found out you guys were caught up lmao. It was like the 4th episode of cour 4. Glad I got to have a great portion of that watching you guys react to the episodes simultaneously to me. Thanks again and you guys are goats

Fernando Rivera

I’ve been watching Bleach since 2006….

Nina

Two years ago?? Holy shit. no way it’s been that long

Kayso

The end of an era. Definitely cried this episode when they showed the flashback to episode 1 and the montage of OG Bleach. I agree with Michelle I wanted to see Urahara and Yoruichi and their kid lol 🤣 but I still loved the ending it felt so slice of life. All the characters look so nice grown up and love how Rukia, Isane and Iba are now captains taken after their predecessors. I started Bleach in 2016 when I was 20 and it's one of my favorites. The style/drip, coolest character designs, best osts, the atmopshere, fights and overall vibe. About Ichigo's job, I'm assuming he's now taken over the medical clinic. Remember at the start of the series his dad worked at it. Also soul society pays Ichigo lol. And Ron you were close, not the first episode but it was the first chapter of the manga titled Death and Strawberry. I loved how they titled the final episode this. Also Ron mentioning the movies, don't forget Bleach has four movies so there's more Bleach content that you guys can react to especially if you feel there are more answers you need or from feeling like this ending isn't enough for you (Bleach movie 4: Hellverse is what we recommended to y'all before), plus don't forget episode 228 the iconic filler episode that we've been telling you about. And you still gotta react to the endings. 12:12 "Going Home" ost I got emotional hearing this 21:31 "BL_56" unreleased ost 🔥 always played in OG Bleach One thing I'll always love about TYBW is how they remixed/modernize the OG osts

Raza Naqvi (Sid)

Damn , Really. I cried when Db gt ended and now again

wram

They might animate the Light Novels for Bleach which are set after the events of the anime so it's like a direct continuation. I think I read something that said depending on the success of TYBW they'd do that and animate the Light Novel (it's called Can't Fear Your Own World or CFYOW). Regardless though, the Bleach manga isn't truly over as there is a Hell Arc which Kubo will be working on soon and is confirmed to happen.

G’Rale Gambino

Every question you have has been answered in CFYOW novels .. great read potentially a movie as well

CaptainCameron

A lot of aftermath was covered in the Can’t fear your own world light novel. The person that replaced the soul king was mentioned in that novel. It was Yhwach. Squad zero basically took his corpse and used it as the new soul king.

2rpedo Choi

I watched Bleach for the 1st time in 2004, wasn't really a day 1 probably around ep 10 aired. I was 15 or 16, now I'm 38. Also Bleach is my favorite anime/manga, Bleach manga ended 2016 the same year my favorite NBA player retired(Kobe).

Tingz

Man bleach is pretty special to me I hold it close to my heart I got into it when I was about 14 or 15 started with the manga and then the anime and now I’m almost 26. Yea Ron thats just Kubos style. He gets to the point quick and gets it over with he doesn’t drag things out unnecessarily to where the pacing sucks. I don’t feel like it was rushed but I get your opinion

Tingz

I don’t think they know or remembered anyone who became captain except Rukia. Isane the girl with white hair was Unohana (rip) lieutenant. Rukia is now captain of squad 13. Ukitake (rip) was squad 13, Rukia was under him. Iba is capt of squad 7 (Komamura’s squad)

Black Inferno

So amazing to have watched this entire thing with you guys! I really pray we get more bleach animations, imagine a hell arc anime seasons

Aaron williams

I think you guys would enjoy fairy tail high key.

coffeedango

I heard the author might add it as a full arc

Aaron williams

We really didn’t need to know about what happened after the battle. They simply recovered because everyone was injured so medical care and then they made a plan to fix the soul society. Idk that all feels very unnecessary to see. Urahara and yoruichi definitely should’ve been in it.

Bakerz

Its been a pleasure seeing your comments throughout the years man. Take care

kidBuku

15 years ago i started watching bleach

Ryan Stoddard

He’ll ark about to go hard! Probably come out in year or two. Can’t wait!!!

Elicia E.

Gosh when I first saw bleach on adult swim I was about 14 - 15 and I’m 33 now. It’s been a real incredible journey.

kidBuku

Keep in mind there is still more material left for bleach. The light novels (CFYOW)and the One shot Manga(No breathes from hell) . Some of the plot questions and character resolutions your looking for would be in there.

Brandocommando

Ron and Michelle we wanna know what your top 5 animes are now that bleach is over

Manny

Damn, those final seconds tease BIG and something for the FAR future. I can't wait to see the next arc animated, even though I know it'll take such a long time. Definitely been fun watching you two react to the entire anime!

Renato Hiro

I started Bleach by the end of Soul Society Arc. It's been a JOURNEYYY

Nerses

This can’t end like this for they’ll make a new season with Hell Arc & all , & also they’ll make some type of Baruto style show for the new characters

Kj_XD

Time to read CFYOW

Neji Hyuga

It’s not good it’s mid something that should be on Disney channel for kids

Romance Hobo

It was an awesome journey. Been watching the big 3 for 15 years and they have given me comfort In the darkest of times. To see them fade away sure Is rough but that also means that they were a big Impact on me.

K

Thank you for the amazing journey! I had so much fun here, always have something to look forward to every week, even before cour 4 started. I love this anime, and i love you guys' and your reactions to it. I understand the way you feel about the ending, i too find that some parts could probably be expand upon, but regarding most of your questions, they are answered in the novels as it covers what happens after the fight. Let's all pray together we get some kind of anime adaptation for those as well, and when it happens I hope we get to go through it together again. Regarding the foot at the end, it wasn't in the manga but its a hint of something. Don't forget we also have hell arc, so let's stay hopeful!

Lord_maxx

Are you gonna react to bleach endings now that bleach has ended?

Bhadar Chaudhary

The first two cours were amazing even cour 3 was good, cour 4 started strong but the last 3 episodes were a 4/10 at best it was a mess ichigos and kempachi Bankai were the best parts of the cour

Michelle Lam

for me (Ron) OP Naruto AOT Bleach Demon Slayer/HxH/Hajime no Ippo

Xenon 1

The foot is supposedly a teaser for the Hell Arc

Kj_XD

From what I know it’s a series of light novels (with shuhei as the main character) that covers what happened during the 10 years between after TYBW and the last episode. I’ve heard it’s worth reading and covers a lot of plot holes!

Ronald Tran

Wait if Renji and Rukia have a kid? That means…😳 RENJI…MY MAN!! 😭😭😭

Bakerz

Gonna miss you guys so much 😢

SuitedRIP

I was 16 when Bleach first dropped in shonen weekly. I didn't pick it up right away but by the end of the first series many of my friends and I were hooked. 3 years later in college, the anime comes out and it was dope. We were so hooked even though we were older at the time. Now Im 41 and literally in tears watching the finale for the 3rd time here during your watch. I am not thrilled with how they did it, and even more bummed because they took the extra time to do this. The artwork and music remained consistent but I think they had the opportunity to do so much more with the source material and I will say Im disappointed to a degree. Over 20 years of my life following this story and although I never expected it to hit all my lofty expectations, I did think they would go beyond this. I agree with Ron to the extent that we could have used 3-5 more episodes to flesh out some things. Either way, Im grateful we ever got this far. Bleach will always hold a special spot for me.

wileykat

I was 15 when I started watching Bleach, so it was absolute peak immediately

Tay

Yokoso for the last time 😭

Usher

I was 9 when i first started bleach, i'm 22 now

Kurofi

WHERE THE HELL ARE URAHARA AND YOROICHI?????

Kurofi

The ability for shinigami to have babies fascinates me lol they never really get into the biology of it all but I shall accept the logic I guess….

TEMPEST

I hate how it’s over for now but I hold hope that bleach will continue in the future

Biggewidt

Like this if they should watch FMA: Brotherhood next

Kurofi

I started bleach in 2005 with my little brother and I cannot believe that it’s over…..for now 🥲 your reactions have been gold as always!! Thank you both.

Bakerz

Watashi for the last time 😢
