On passe la fin de semaine ensemble ? Petit rappel du programme Recalbox qui vous est destiné, avec un vendredi en ligne et un samedi ensemble en IRL !

Tout débute donc demain (ou aujourd’hui si vous lisez cette news ce vendredi...) : nous vous donnons rendez-vous dans un endroit qui est désormais le vôtre, le online, pour la toute première Recalbox Online Night (RBO Night) ce vendredi 23 octobre à 21h.

Le concept est très simple : nous essayons d’être un maximum connectés sur RBO afin de jouer tous ensemble. Pour l’occasion, plusieurs tournois seront ouverts tout au long de la soirée. Entre les tournois, ou pendant si vous ne souhaitez pas y participer, nous pourrons nous retrouver dans les différentes rooms pour jouer ensemble, que ce soit en match simple ou classé.

L’idée est de s’amuser et de profiter de cette nouvelle fonctionnalité arrivée avec Recalbox 11. Si nous sommes assez nombreux, nous pourrons même essayer de lancer des parties jusqu’à 8 joueurs, avec des jeux comme Scud Race par exemple.

Pour l’occasion, nous allons ouvrir le canal Recal’Talk. Nous ne pourrons pas tous prendre la parole en même temps, mais cela permettra à l’organisation d’échanger, et à certains d’entre vous de venir sur ce canal vocal lors de certains matchs si vous le souhaitez.

Seule condition pour participer à cette soirée : être sur la dernière version de Recalbox, c’est-à-dire Recalbox-11-patron-1.6. Pensez à vos mises à jour.

Samedi 24 octobre, nous nous retrouvons, mais cette fois-ci en IRL, pour aller voir ensemble le film Street Fighter au Cineplanet de Salon-de-Provence (https://www.cineplanet-salon.fr/). Rendez-vous à 16h15 devant le cinéma (place Jules Morgan, à Salon-de-Provence) pour la séance de 16h30.

La fin de séance devrait être aux alentours de 19h, ce qui nous permettra d’aller boire un verre ensemble, et même de manger pour ceux qui souhaitent rester !

Que vous veniez quelques dizaines de minutes lors de la RBO Night, ou que vous souhaitiez nous rejoindre à Salon-de-Provence après le film pour boire un verre, nous sommes impatients de vous retrouver pour partager ces moments !

Shall we spend the weekend together? Here’s a quick reminder of the Recalbox events just for you: an online get-together on Friday, followed by an in-person meetup on Saturday!

It all kicks off tomorrow (or today, if you’re reading this on Friday): join us in a place that’s now yours too—the online world—for the very first Recalbox Online Night (RBO Night), this Friday, October 23, at 9 p.m.

The idea is simple: we’re hoping as many of us as possible can connect to RBO and play together. Several tournaments will be running throughout the evening. In between tournaments—or during them, if you’d rather not take part—we can meet up in the different rooms to play together, either in casual or ranked matches.

The goal is to have fun and make the most of this new feature introduced with Recalbox 11. If enough of us join, we might even be able to try games with up to eight players, such as Scud Race.

For the occasion, we’ll open the Recal’Talk channel. We won’t all be able to speak at once, but it’ll give the organizers a way to coordinate, and some of you can join the voice channel during certain matches if you’d like.

The only requirement for taking part is to have the latest version of Recalbox: Recalbox-11-patron-1.6. Remember to update!

On Saturday, October 24, we’ll meet up in person to see the Street Fighter movie together at Cineplanet in Salon-de-Provence (cineplanet-salon.fr). Meet us outside the cinema at 4:15 p.m. (Place Jules Morgan, Salon-de-Provence) for the 4:30 p.m. screening.

The movie should end around 7 p.m., giving us time to grab a drink together—and even get something to eat if you’d like to stay!

Whether you can only drop by for a little while during RBO Night or you’d like to join us in Salon-de-Provence for a drink after the movie, we can’t wait to see you and share these moments together!
