The life of a potion master can be very short lived. “Flesh galloped to cover the bones” is such a wild phrase. I don’t know if it’s just me or intentional in your writing style, the intensity of the situation just leaps out of the page. Definitely holding onto the edge of my seat, what a nail-biter!
