[Poll] How should Ilreth dash? (Patreon)

Talking about Ilreth, the catty elf that definitely looooooves humans

I had two ideas for how she could dash forward. One is using propulsors in her boots:

I didn't polish the animation’s ending much because I felt it was... I don't know... Imagine being in the middle of a fight and suddenly exposing her whole chest while lunging at the enemy?

So I came up with this second idea, where she installs jets on her scythe and uses it to launch herself forward:

Which one do you prefer? If you think the tech should be more embedded in her attire, I could still try to make the first animation work!

This also gave me a new idea... Kalyskah is SUPER fast during the prologue, and I thought Ilreth could have a speed boost too—but instead of hovering like Kalyskah, she would skate, a bit inspired by Shadow the Hedgehog 🤣

I am really enjoying this whole artificer train of thought. And remember, it will take a while, but eventually (probably next year), Ilreth will become a playable companion in the prologue. So we are taking extra care with her moveset to ensure she is not only fun to watch in combat, but also satisfying to play when we finally have the budget and time to develop the companion system.
