Love love love a pretty man with long hair. I do wonder if Vampire spawns appearances change over the year. From what i can recall, a vampire would appear the same when they "died " every night? If they lost a limb one night it would reappear when returning to their coffin. I maybe wrong and confuse dnd vampire lore with other versions.

I'm a big believer of "it's fantasy so make up your own rules" myself! But I generally subscribe to that theory with a few caveats for flavo. Like that stress and mistreatment can still take a toll over time and that they look more like rotting corpses if they're unwell/starved.

Oh he looks like he has a lot of annoying paperwork ahead of him. Poor Astarion, . Does he have to fill in forms to pick up his Du Drow monster from the pound? And yes. Golden eyes. So he is probably the high elf he was. But i still stick to my first thought, why he has a lot to do.
