Like Vizzz said below, it looks more natural! Opt.B makes it looks like the tail is kind of tacked on. This is kind of anthropomorphic anatomy though so I had to get used to the idea first.

that makes sense! I thought B at first glance based on how we’re used to seeing drow and general ~clothing dynamics I guess, but then A does look more natural with the positioning of everything? either way, thanks for providing us with the tools for this very important analysis.

That’s one of the best physiological renderings I’ve seen in regards to a humanoid tail and how it’s placed to facilitate functionality….Uhhh I mean, woo hoo got a Drow by the tail. I hear if you rub your fingers just under where the tail connects, it makes their eyes cross.

I am in love with the tail action in these poses! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 I would say "B" because while you can still tighten it by pushing it upwards, it also won't look like you are ramming into his spine from behind (the unfun way). And it also allows for the tail to curl and flex while being pounded. Possibly even self-insertion if the tail is long enough.😏🥵

The very last one where the tail curls around his leg - like a self-soothing measure 😭😭 but he also has the buttcheek bitemark which means this disgrace was presumably AFTER getting with Astarion which makes me SO CURIOUS about this AU, about how he ended up trapped in a half-slayer form (I would presume: punishment from Bhaal, that his "Inhumanity" as it were, be forever known and seen, rather as Wyll was transformed, and as a show of Bhaal's power over even his severed piece of flesh). Yes, the anatomy's great (you always do anatomy in such a satisfying way, reminds me of actual anatomy sketches, the lines of the musculature under the skin without being obsessive the way modern media does with the dehydration - some of it reminds me of the musculature of dancers - clear strength but never absurd, even on such a slab of meat as DU Drow!) but that last tail-curl makes me want to know the LORE of this one.
