Okay, I was watching it with you like 2 episodes per week but decided to binge it few days ago and finished it. So I was critical of this arc - how drawn out it was (and I still am! Like fight with bat and owl was unnecessary and some parts could've been faster paced especially if you are watching it like Wes and Steph and me - 2 ep per week) but pay off is incredbile at the end of this arc. Probably my favourite arc in all of shonen despite it flaws.

In my Opinion the biggest weekness in the season is that the story between meruem and komugi is so good that you care less about he rest of the story lines😭

ikalgo the GOAT!!!

20:20 Damn, I didn't notice this before, but now it's clear where Demon Slayer got the inspiration for his demon sister and brother arc

You guys are right, Togashi is such a good gamemaster or game creator. Gungi seems like a combination of Chinese chess, Chess960 (Fischer random chess), and checkers, kind-of - with the stacked pieces.

the ortho sibling thing is a little less weird when you realize that all chimera ants from the same generation are technically siblings lmao

then again someone said that they might've been siblings in their previous life, which makes it weird again

Hey Wes, don't worry, enhancer may sound simple, BUT it also covers things like transformations. You could do some really cool things with shapeshifting. I had an idea for a power that let you take on the traits and abilities of animals you study, hunt, and kill for a magical beast hunter. With how weird all the creatures in this world are you could get quite the repertoire. Also this isn't covered in the show and isn't relevant, but Nen is also a spectrum. You can have a weird range of proficiency. You could be between categories or leap over them in competence. For example Gon is pure Enhancer, but Killua is right in the middle of Enhancer and Transmuter. You could easily be between categories and have equal proficiency between them. (:

Mr Runic

Chrolo's ability is also limited by death. Nen disappears on death with RARE exceptions.

The biggest plot hole in HxH: when Killua said he would forfeit the match in the first hunter exam if it involved mental math

maybe Killua's standard for mental math is different from the general public. Maybe he thinks that the questions will be rows of calculus without calcualtor
