Since it's sort of relevant here? Magne, The Woman with the sunglasses fighting Tiger was stated to be a trans woman in a volume release and Tiger, who was fighting her was stated to be a trans man aswell. (Though the phrasing used for tiger is specifically "Formerly a woman")

Beth Edwards

Just so you guys know, 'Big sis' Mag (or Magne [quirk magnetic pull or sth like that]) is trans and goes by she/her! I know it's not super important because she's like... a horrible person and evil, but I just thought I'd let yall know bc many reactors don't pick up on it even though the league of villains all use she/her pronouns on her! This was another way of Horikoshi (the author) showing how the league of villains is a bunch of outcasts! There are a lot of little things like that about the LOV to watch out for! It gives a little more insight to them as characters moving forward 🩷 (Also, the gas mask villain is wearing a middle school uniform)

Beth Edwards

Oh wow we said the same thing lol! I kinda forgot about tiger tho!

think a good way to explain the deku vs muscular fight is his first hit didn't make direct contact, he used his muscles to block it which is why he said "that punch was too obvious", same with the second but for the third deku opened his hand while it was in the muscles, causing them to split apart then he actually got a direct hit on his face, doubt that punch was much stronger then the first one

Absolutely love season 3 and very excited for Wes and Steph to witness one of the best episodes in the entire series in a few weeks time!

Ale

Episode 4 always gets me 😭😭 I love deku so much

guys we dont think kota is 5 he is 5 XD , on the end of muscular runing out of whatever wes said and his power running out , thats a thing that only happen to kids who hasn't trained their quirks enough to sustain them for a long time. usually pro heroes or pro villians or even just adults who have use their quirk for a long time dont run out of their powers. yes there are limitations like reach or strenght for some quirks but long time use is normal even on long fights for pros. its like we said on previous seasons comparing kids to pro athletes in the real life. once they get used to their powers is like walking for them. also i dont think this gets explained midoryas 1million percent is not a real 1million percent its imposible he will be dead, but a representantion that he is not willing to give up and just a normal 100%

Talking is not a free action () I think it's not spoiler to say the cut-off hand is one of Shoji's replicated hands.

Things you have missed (according to what you said at the end) - bakugo and todoroki said, when they found the teethguy with the bloody hand on the ground, that shouji (the guy who is now protecting deku) and tokoyami where infront of them. Also, shouji told deku that tokoyami lost control because he saw shouji getting hurt - uraraka and tsuyu where shortly seen with the "crazy girl" - the bloody table was shown to be the table where ragdoll was sitting at the midway checkpoint

I never could understand how people would think kota would betray heroes tbh also I would say this is class b being forced to fight lol also just to clarify deku saying a million was to pump himself up confirmed by the writer…he just did max power

Tony

I actually didn't know Tiger was trans too till reading this comment!

RCG

How isn't that a spoiler? It's literally going to be revealed in the next episode. Also, why even bring it up in the first place? It's not like you're trying to talk about anything related to it.

Cong Hui

You had all the info needed to figure this out this episode.

One of the most interesting things about this is (to me) the casual implications of how access to gender-affirming care may have slightly affected of their life choices, with Tiger clearly able to access full transitionary care in comparison to Magne seemingly being unable to and only really changing her hair and voice(maybe some hormone therapy at best)

Agent

The moment when Deku starts apologizing to his mom because he thinks it's the end always hits me and gets me to tear up.😭

Tyler

One of my favourite episodes of the entire series, the moment Deku truly achieves his dream and doesnt just save someone like he did with Bakugo and to an extent Shoto but along with saving Kota he also becomes his hero! Also important to note Deku was not actually at one million percent that was more of a battle cry to go beyond his limits.

Tyler

One of the best not just in this series but in all of anime imo

Something a lot of people misunderstand is the stance of the students using quirks against villains. The rules aren't that they aren't allowed to use self defense at all. If the villain is right in front of them and attacking them, there's no rules against the students defending themselves. The rule is that they aren't supposed to go and seek out the fight. It's that they should be attempting to run to safety rather than searching out the villains deliberately so that they can fight them. Generally this isn't a bad rule. Students shouldn't seek out unnecessary fights when they can escape to get adult pros to go instead. This is a case where that isn't really possible which is why Aizawa sets the students free.

Because it’s something that you should be able to figure out this episode. If you didn’t figure it out you missed something.

I feel like I say this everytime, so perhaps I just forgot how much I love this show lol but this is one of the best arcs 🥰🙏 the villains being introduced and being shown as so unhinged was done so well. I remember actually being afraid for the class (now my perception has changed so some of them crack me up but I digress. Not a spoiler btw, I realize this sounds like one, but it's just my personal perception has changed because of all the other anime I've watched after this 😂 I haven't finished Boku no Hero so don't know how things go after a certain point. Only know that I fear the hell out of Toga, lowkey like Dabi and the Stain wannabe, and high-key like Twice as far as villains go. I can't decide how I feel about Shigaraki. The rest unnerve me)

D B

I know, that moment always gets me too 😭

Stairguy

Where are you at in the series?

Stairguy

This was talked about endlessly when it aired 😆

jason thomas

Wow Wes is surprisingly dark. Killing muscular lol
