There are two crucial senses out of the 5 senses that we are always aware of that would take me away from a whole career alone if even one of the two was suddenly lost. Which are sight and hearing. I’m an ultrasound tech. My job relies heavily on being able to hear even the slightest of sounds and i have to be able to see the smallest detail on the screen when i’m scanning. So i would be done for if i experienced what yichan experienced when it comes to him losing his hearing just for saving someone else. My whole world would be flipped upside down. Watching this show really puts into perspective of so many things most people don’t think about or aware of. Another thing this points out as well is the thought of what our parents were like when they were teenagers and if they had any hardships or traumas, what they dealt with that lead them to who they are today. I know if i went back in time to even seen my mother when she was 18yo when i was 18yo, i would be in the same shoes as eunyu. It would freak us both out because we looked exactly the same.

I'm really really glad you guys enjoyed it until the end even though there was still cry'y moments but in the end they were all positive-ish. I know the father-son bond was a bit of a tear-jerker and I’m so glad you loved Eun-gyeol and Yi-chan’s dynamic as much as I did. Your crazy theories about what this show was gonna be about at the start were really funny. Again thank you so so so very much giving this a shot, it felt like I was watching it for the first time all over again but with extra emotional support. Viva La Vida!

i loved watching this with yall! my hope is that Alchemy of Souls is the next kdrama, but another good one might be Reply 1989! my other favorites are My Mister and My Liberation Notes but those have a bit of a slower, moodier pace (more like slice of life, not horror though). Oooh another really good one is Itaewon Class oooh or Hotel De Luna ...many good ones to choose! I personally don't enjoy horror much or the really dark ones, but i still like watching them with you guys but i hope you get the chance to watch some that are less heavy too.

I really enjoyed rewatching this series with you guys!! I wanted to suggest an Indian animated movie that came out in 2025 — Mahavatar Narsimha. Not sure if it’s something you’d be keen to watch, but thought I’d put it out there 😊 Can’t wait for the next show with you guys! I’m also a huge One Piece fan, so it’s been such a fun journey rewatching it together.

if you ever go back to watch weak hero s2, in the ep baku is introduced, his friend jokes around and ask who hes impersonating, and he says my dad. in reference to lee chan, as he has adopted a bit of lee chans personality into bakus character. nice easter egg for those that watched twinkling prior.
