This arc is peak adventure. Everything is relevent and connected in this arc. Did you notice that there's an octopus sticked to Zoro when they first dived in the sea, then it was in the treasures they brought up, and finally it was cooked as Takoyaki. Everything is connected!! Also yes, you can watch this opening

Yeah, it's truly one of the best moments in One Piece as a whole for me too and it just encapsulates one of the core themes of the series so well.

For me outside of this arc being just amazing in my opinion, the thing I really like about Jaya is that big reason why that latter half of the next arc is so good is because everything that happens here. Like a lot of things in the next arc and even later have so much weigth because a multitude of things set up here.

Wow, I forgot just how much went on during this arc since this whole saga gets overshadowed by the next one. I figured there was only maybe a few episodes that could have been edited down even further but nope seems OnePace kept almost everything from these 8 episodes in the Jaya folder.. Looking forward to watching it again, feels semi blind after this long

There's a million Bellamys out there who will try to bring others down for aiming for the top. You gain nothing trying to prove yourself to the millions who will doubt you. Luffy is trying to prove himself to people like Shanks and Ace, not Bellamy's. This is my personal favourite arc, I think you guys will like it.

I think Mont Blanc laughed when they mentioned Sky Island because he was tickled by the irony of someone genuinely wanting to go there on an island that mocks everyone who mentions it. Or maybe he was just bemused by coming across more “fools” like him.

Today's fun fact is: When One Piece first expanded outside of Japan, the first to buy the rights to dub and broadcast the anime on television were 4Kids (I don't remember in how many countries, but as far as I know, it was throughout the American continent, and it even reached Spain). The funny thing is, they paid for the rights up to the first part of Jaya, right when the ship falls from the sky, and they edited the last episode that aired up to the part where the ship falls on top of the crew. So, for many people whose first exposure to One Piece was that, they genuinely believed for a long time that the ending of One Piece was the Straw Hats dying crushed by the ship JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA

No, it a friday slot, the times they have posted it earlier it's because they couldn't do the 4 episodes and split them 2-2, or last time because they wanted to finish the Alabasta arc, they always clarify in the description whenever they do something like that.

Just as a little reminder or maybe explanation. The bounties are not about how strong someone is. It's an indication, yes, but the true meaning of a bounty is more about "how big of a threat someone is to the world government/marine"
