It's time for PEAK

TK

I absolutely love these eps and btw you guys can watch the OP & ED next ep now

mimiyowa

Damn we're 4 seasons in, 42 posts.. I just realized.. time flies by fast jesus christ.

Farzan

The music being villainous really shows just how scary a full power deku is in the villains eyes

The Anime Dude

This arc is a solid 7/10, not enough BakuGOAT.

Alvaro Vesga

Dont worry guys, everyone likes Twice and Toga too, u are only starting! Next week we have more peak in the next chapters

RCG

Uraraka can't fly in my book; she's more like an astronaut drifting through space, lol. Overall it's pretty rare, especially if you look for people who can actually fly. Besides Nejire and Ryukyu, who we just saw in this episode, I'd add Endevaor, Gran Torino (to some extent, debatable) and also Bakugo. Bakugo isn't actually flying either but honestly, he's close enough that I'd let it pass. The best flying hero is still yet to be introduced, though!

starrk

C'mon delete this. Reacting to their predictions is still spoiler, even minor stuff. Only comment about things Wes & Steph have already seen.

Koko

PEAK!

IzVito

Overhaul: If you keep holding her she's gonna kill you Deku: Not if I kill myself first

Billbob

Damn, Deku pulled off a Gum-Gum Gattling there. Forgot about that one

jason thomas

I'm a Lemillion hater. Never liked the character lol

Arvrxx

One for all Stockpiles when it is passed down, so 100% Deku is even stronger than Prime All Might. This was by far the strongest feat we have seen. Absolute cinema

jason thomas

It is implied that Overhaul has to understand the structures he dissembles and remakes. The character is very smart, he's a researcher/scientist. And also a monster.

D B

I did not remember the music being so villainous during Deku's victory lol. I love this entire arc so much, we really get to see in depth what it's like for heroes.

D B

You guys are definitely OK to watch the OP and ED by now.

domi

Hey, if i looked like he does, i too would like to look like a cute plushie, and also get my enemies to underestimate me, just saying. I love Overhauls quirk, its just FMAs alchemy but without the no-human-transmutation laws. Also, you can def watch the opening and ending now, and (i think) the next episodes with post credit scenes this season are 19, 23 and 25.

Renden

I think part of the problem with teaching Eri how to use her quirk is that simply being in her presence means you are at risk of being rewound to nothing. Overhaul didn't have any way of "turning her quirk off" except by disassembling her. "Rewinding Mirio" as Eri is right now would probably not undo the quirk destruction, but instead reduce him to nothingness. It undoubtedly would be a serious undertaking to teach her how to rewind people in a particular way, and it would probably be much more safe to teach her not to use it at all.

Renden

Ah, my favorite My Hero character. Satoru Gojo.

MikiMiki

I hate Mirio, but only in My hero ultra rumble, he's is too annoying to fight

Leonard Martinez

It's fun how those powers interact with each other - Nighteye says his foresight is never wrong, but Eri's rewind sorta counters that, allowing what Nighteye saw to change. I used to read X-Men comics and it reminds me of how the writers made all those powers interact.

TK

3/10 max bro, not enough Zoro

Nigos The Titan

You will be dealt with appropriately 😭

Solar Wind

Eri's power is pretty versatile, on scale 1 she can rewind people into nothingness, or maybe into children, or could rewind a chicken into an egg etc. On scale 2 she could rewind people to other evolutionary stages, humans to monkeys ( what Chisaki said ), humans to their stage before the quirks. But think about it, in the MHA world, the superhuman durability/speed/strength feats that have nothing to do with the specific quirk a person has ( example: Bakugo surviving the trashing AM put him through, through simple training, despite his quirk just being explosive palm sweat ) are a byproduct of humans mutating to have quirks. Mirio achieved his superhuman strength through training, and when the bullet removed his quirk, he kept fighting quirkless but not losing these mutated superhuman perks. This implies Eri's power applied with high precision can stop specific characteristics of an evolutionary path without affecting others. That would be scale 3, or an imaginary novel path? Of course it took Chisaki countless experiments to get this right. Basically, hax

RCG

Maybe I'm just too stupid to get it but the whole Nighteye quirk makes no sense to me. If they had at least shown Overhaul dealing a massive blow to Deku so that he basically appeared dead and then Eri brought him back with her Rewind, okay, I could accept that. But instead, Deku realizes by accident that he can use One For All at 100% without any repercussions thanks to Eri's help and from that point on he completely smokes Chisaki. How could Nighteye not see Deku winning just because he gets help from another Quirk? Eri does not actually manipulate time or reality. She basically just heals Deku. How would that affect Nighteye's Foresight ability?

Kasturi

He's one of the best part of MHA. we need cocky, powerful character in every shonen.

AJisreal

How dare you XD

Leonard Martinez

Her quirk isn't time manipulation, but it kinda functions like a localized mini version of it as it turns things/people back to previous states. I don't think it really makes sense either, but within the context of the fiction I think the story pretty clearly has two ideas paired against eachother - Nighteye's future sight is never wrong and Deku, as our shonen hero, is able to change that fate because that's what main characters in these stories do. So, I read it as Eri's quirk giving the story a kind of loophole for Deku to change fate while not technically showing Nighteye's prediction to be wrong. Just my read on it.

RCG

I mean, yes, I agree. The implication is that Eri or at least with her help, Deku changed the future Nighteye saw. It's just that I don't think it makes sense that he couldn't foresee that, because even though her Quirk is very powerful, it's not something that should interfere with a power like his Foresight. Nighteye predicted that Chisaki would kill Deku and escape. Instead, Deku didn't even take any major damage. Quite the opposite, he completely stomped Overhaul, so Nighteye's prediction was clearly wrong. It's a good fight with amazing animation but it's a bit disappointing how the whole "predicting/changing the future" thing played out in the end, at least for me.

starrk

Okay.

Philsi

We finally got to see what Deku is capable of if he doesn't hold back (even if he is kinda cheating with Nurse Joy on his back).

CallMeSignal

Dude, if I was on the receiving end of Deku's 100% like in this episode, I would've thought I just saw the visage of a God raining judgment on me. It's CRAZY.

CallMeSignal

And also just the logistics of how to teach her. Because everyone else's Quirk can be trained easily, but you can only really train her Quirk on people, which is a massive risk. That's like teaching someone to drive but only in an F1 car on a crowded road. Deaths are practically a guarantee.

Farzan

Its too late to even beg for forgiveness you just gotta accept your fate as Deku comes crashing down on you with eyes covered in shadows and rage

Mufty

overhaul alt account spotted

WhopsInc.

You see that in the episode, in Chisaki's flashback, that her Quirk works on rats. So you can use animals to train it

WhopsInc.

They reacted to the next episode already so I'll say it here: To put it in super simple terms Nighteye's predictions can be changed when enough people wish for it hard enough. The energy of said wishes is coalescing on one person, in this case Deku, who then defies said future. SPOILERS: FOR END OF ENTIRE SHOW: IDK how safe this is, please don't read further if ya shouldn't SERIOUSLY spoilers for the 100% end of the series: This is how All-Might lives too, just with like Millions of people's coalescing on Katchan and Deku

Tom

Nah the best quirk is one for alls quirk

Chels

Deku is like a nuclear bomb. I love this ep because it shows the level he could potentially become without his limits

Godspeedhero

I absolutely love these reactions, but sometimes I swear Wes and Steph's IQs drop like 60% randomly sometimes. lol Nonetheless, these two do an excellent job of predicting what's going to happen sometimes. Very astute (most of the time).

Godspeedhero

It's probably a probabilistic quirk that uses nearly absolute deterministic factors to predict the future. That would make it possible to change the futures if there are factors that can sidestep causality such as certain quirks like Eri's.

Anany Aadil

always loved Overhal getting a taste of prime All Might.
