Is anything gonna be filling the witch hat slot?

Jomaestro

I think u misread, they said they were going to go somewhere opposite to the source like Japan to stay as far away as possible

RCG

Unless you already have plans for those slots or just want to take it a bit slower for a while, with Witch Hat being over and Re:Zero taking a pretty long break, you should consider doing double drops for Dr. Stone.

Brandon Gomez

saying we can metagame this is hilarious lol

The Anime Dude

I mean 3,000 years is a looooong time, I wouldn’t worry too much about being related to someone cuz of an ancestor from that far back. 😭 (Though I always forget that Senku and Byakuya aren’t blood related, they look too much alike for me to keep that in my brain.)

Eureka

Thanks

Infinite Winds

The Re:zero break is only for a month now, Mushoku Tensei Season 3 starts in four days, the schedule has already been tight enough that they've only been able to do double episodes for Fate on some weeks and besides, doing double episodes for every single series is ridiculous, a wider variety is much more enticing

I love how you guys picked up on Kohaku blushing/concerned while thinking she was distantly related to Senku. The ship is real lol So I just want to recap the order of events surrounding Senku and Taiju escaping petrification since you seem a bit fuzzy on the details (everything has been shown and indicated in the first several episodes): - Petrification occurs on a world wide scale. - Senku is conscious and constantly counting to track the passage of time. - 3700 years pass and Senku finds himself in a location partially buried and just a short distance away from the cave with the bats. - Senku breaks out of the petrification and as he investigates his surroundings, he theorizes the nitric acid from bat guano played a factor in breaking him out of petrification. - He collects the nitric acid and tries to revive Taiju with it but there was no reaction. Senku continues to experiment with the nitric acid with petrified swallows. - Senku theorizes that his active conscious mind played some role in his de-petrification. Senku drags Taiju into the nitric acid cave. He has faith that Taiju's simple stubborn nature would eventually allow him to revive in a similar manner while constantly being exposed to the nitric acid drips from the cave ceiling (Episode 6). - Senku continues to experiment with nitric acid and thinks that creating a nital (industrial etching) solution would be a possible path to progress but he needs alcohol. - Taiju eventually revives from the constant exposure to nitric acid. - Taiju helps Senku gather resources to make alcohol and Senku is able to start making nital. - After experimenting with different ratios of nitric acid and alcohol, Senku succeeds in making the instant "revival fluid".

Ulises Aragón

You guys talked a lot about things that will get addressed in the later seasons today! It was very fun to watch your theories

Bambi

i also headcanon that the weird genetic diversity starting with supermodel astronauts is the reason we have grubby little character designs like mantle alongside absolute beasts of nature like old man kaseki lmao

RCG

As I literally said at the beginning, I'm fine if they don't. It was just a suggestion. Since it's a pretty long show, I think it's worth considering. Your comment doesn't even make sense. First, you say they can't do double drops because of the tight schedule but then at the end you argue that they should add another show instead because variety is better (which is an entirely subjective opinion). How does adding another show fit into the schedule if double drops can't? It's one or the other, not both. Also, nobody is asking for double drops for every single series, why be so dramatic?

Infinite Winds

Perhaps I was using the word 'besides' incorrectly, but I meant it that it would be preferable in the case in which it had to be one or the other way. I'm sorry for the confusion. I was also being hyperbolic with 'every single series' but it was only to add emphasis to what I think the direction has been lately, I did not mean to come off as agressive

Eternal Coke

Senku's dad's back story seems pretty fast but we get more in later seasons I'm sure you'll love.

Gavern

Mushoku Tensei starts up in just a couple days.

TheSlothSmile

yaay new episode, This show does pacing so well they just keep giving you more questions and its not even the payoff of the original question of what happened I'm gonna start keeping track of the predictions so in a few years I can have a list of how many you've guessed or not, don't stop theorizing that's all I'm gonna say somehow your brains work so well from so little info of all the things possible XD

domi

Byakuya's name means "hundred night" and Senku's "thousand sky"... and the episode is called... A Hundred Nights and a Thousand Skies 😭. Also, wild Chile mention lol hi

Mal G

Pls we need double episodessss I love this series so much. Loving the reactions!

€lie

Actually it was never confirmed NOR denied that Byakuya had children after the petrification, from what I've heard and read on this topic him and Lilian most likely never connected in such a way and Kohaku with Ruri are probably descendants of Connie and Shamil OR maybe after Connie's passing Shamil and Lilian ended up together shortly. But all these things can now only be speculations not like that is actually a topic ever dicussed in the show anyway xD

"Inbreeding is how we get Magma and his little crony" LMAO

What? Is 3700 years not enough to not worry about being distantly related to someone? I really don't see why you'd still feel weird after that or what's cause for concern. There'd be no problem even if Senku wasn't adopted, why is that so hard to swallow for some reason? Maybe you don't realize how long 3000 years really is. Senku and the villagers are effectively strangers, he's more distant genetically from them than anybody in Japan so no need to overthink in odd ways. It's the same as thinking people from the same country or ethnicity shouldn't get married, it makes no sense. We all share the same ancestors if we go back far enough. I really don't think the author made Senku adopted just to avoid the "incest trope" like you guys seem to think, at least I hope not, that'd be too shallow imo.

jom

Remove the "too much", I wouldn't worry at all after such a long time.
