Hahaha...I love how the both of you were speculating on what will be built and what won't! It's going to be so fun to see your reactions to all of the fun and useful things Senku comes up with in this stone world. And I wanted to point out that nitric acid is needed for gun powder in the last episode. But I didn't think it was explicitly stated until this episode. So I'm glad Steph's question about it has been definitively answered.

Speaking of who Tsukasa considers ok to revive, at the time of petrification, the ages of some of his people were: Gen: 19 Hyoga: 23 Homura (pinky): 17 The archer: 24 Blondie Tsukasa fan: 21 Obviously they are still quite young, but you get the point. On a completely different note, as you have already noticed, various characters have verbal quirks, like Senkus 10 billion thing or Hyogas "proper", and Gens is to flip the halves of random words lol (I think its always the same ones tho), so instead of "crazy" it would be "zycra". Since this one isnt reflected on the subtitles, i tought it would be worth mentioning.

"Horses" was a really good guess for a tactical advantage, because horses were definitely a major player in warfare for a long time. ...But, it's also an advantage that Tsukasa could use, if he found them first. Also also, it's not crazy enough for Senku to use 😅

The best way I can explain Gen's way of speaking or even Kansai-ben in general to Westerners is "It's the Japanese equivalent of a valley girl accent" lol. So Gen wouldn't say "Zycra" for "Crazy", it'd be more like "That's totes insane." That's just the most... easy way to rationalize it lol.

Gen doesn't speak in Kansai-ben tho, I dont think any character in Dr stone does. He literally flips words, you can hear him say "jima" or "beya" instead of "maji" and "yabe" for example.

btw , Boichi , the artist of Dr Stone has done many adult works and hentai too. One of his major mangas before Dr Stone was Sun Ken Rock(not a hentai) but it was so different in tone and context lol. When i first saw Dr Stone, I couldn't believe this was Boichi. This was so different from eveything else i had seen from him but the art was definitely his. Dude has a very unique artstyle. but he is really good. From making eroge to Dr Stone and getting a big anime adaptation, this is a huge progress. And this series is def amazing
