the unreliable narrator thing is so true i so agree with wes, i love reading them in books too, especially when they’re the mc. and as a longtime army, i think bts can be unreliable narrators when it comes to themselves. not in a negative way, but because sometimes they genuinely underestimate their own artistry and influence. they’re just genuinely humble people

I'm Norwegian so loved hearing you talk about this Steph! Foods I want to recommend that is very traditional in Norway are "Fårikål" (lamb and cabbage stew), "Raspeball" (kinda potato dumplings) and "Pinnekjøtt" with "Kålrotstappe" (Lamb with mashed rutabaga). Norwegian dishes are often really salty with not a lot of spices, so it actually can be described as bland lol, but i really love these dishes. Fun that you mentioned chicken liver, because one of the most used sandwich toppings in Norway is liver paste. (you should try brown cheese also!). Porridge is very popular (rice, oat and cream porridge). We even have a dessert called "riskrem" which is porridge with raspberry or strawberry sauce.
