This is the first time I've left a comment before seeing the reaction, but I wanted to give you some information for next week's reaction that I noticed in One Pace The next episodes to react to are W7 17, 18, 19, and 20. Well, in episode 18 there won't be an opening, but as soon as the episode starts, you'll hear music and there will be a musical segment. Don't skip that part; it's not an opening, it's a canon musical segment that you should watch ( (In fact, episode 18 doesn't have an opening, so you can watch the whole episode without skipping anything) I wanted to mention this because I've seen some people who think it's the opening and skip it

I see a W comment about a certain upcoming One Pace episode but I just also want to give a friendly reminder to anyone reading this to please try your very best not to spoil any upcoming arcs or segments. Not saying anyone has but I know we all love One Piece very much and sometimes we can accidentally reveal to much when Wes & Steph ask a general question. I just really enjoy these reactions and hope they can stay blind but informed to the show :) BTW: The mouse's name is Tyrannosaurus if you remember Iceburg named him :)

Aokiji pronunciation: Ah-Oh-Key-Gee or at least something pretty close to that. Could plug in 青キジ (Japanese characters for Aokiji) into Google translate and have their robot voice pronounce it to get the pronunciation.

Thanks, I asked mainly because, as I mentioned, English isn't my first language, and then there's Spanish, where sometimes just the word itself opens up a lot of context, and I just wanted to make sure it's was ok JAJAJAJAJAJA

Fun fact if the voice actor for Chopper sounds different it is because she went on maternity leave for a bit so they got a temporary one.

The Sanji line: “When a woman lies, a real man forgives her” is so iconic because at this point in time, Sanji doesn’t know the reason behind any of Robin’s actions. Everyone thinks Robin had betrayed them, even the audience. But Sanji, from the beginning, had believed in Robin, and he knew right away when she told him and Chopper that she wanted to cut ties, that she was lying (to them and to herself). Even before any of the other Straw hats understood Robin’s motive to save her friends, he was basically already on a mission to rescue her (which is why he was at the station following Robin way before anyone else). The MVP this episode was definitely him 👍

while aqua laguna has no direct explanation in the story, as far as i know, a popular fan theory is that it is related to long ring long land's yearly low tide. the displaced water that reveals land bridges in long ring long land has to go somewhere, right?

Guys, it's a tiny mouse named Tyrannosaurus. You have mer countless smart animals, just this arc there's the sumo frog, the weird cat rabbit and the yagara bulls. Oda just loves to draw animals.

I felt the same way as Wesley about Franky rebuilding his body haha. One Piece has a lot of fantastical elements and that's certainly one of them, perhaps even the one that's the most absurd so far. But I feel like the show does a good job of making this fantastical cartoon logic world feel grounded.
