Kindyh Bordat

Can't believe they didn't add Sylphie reaction panel from the novel. It was so iconic. And Rudeus wiping the blood off her face because he was scared that if it was a disease et could transfer to her. We also missed the name and abilities of the spirits

Kindyh Bordat

The disease got worst because Sylphie and Cliff helped her symptoms with healing magic, it accumulated more mana in her body. (So the jokes about Sylphie killing her is kinda true XD). And Kishirika constantly die, that's why she is in child form, she doesn't get past childhood lol.

24:20 Back when Elinalise travelled with Rudy to Rapan (to save Zenith), Rudy noticed that she never gets lost, or that she always seems to know the way. She told him that it's an elf thing, they always find their way. That's what also led her to believe she can look for him before she first met him in S2E3 or E4. I'm not sure if her standing up here in that way meant that ability of hers was active, but It'd be cool if that was it.

The Anime Dude

Nanahoshi breaking down still hurts my soul - completely understandable crash out.. In regards to Rudy’s growth: 3 boob demon had younger Rudy ogling like crazy. Now? Author had input to make sure he took a quick glance (easy to miss, & can’t blame him cuz there’s 3 of em), but he’s trying his darndest not to look cuz he’s a married man. 😤

EddyTheMoza

Such great voice acting from Nanahoshi's VA, it broke my heart. If you think about it, Nokopara (Horse Guy) not recognizing Rudy checks out when you remember how long demons usually live, they aren't used to how drastically humans change in such little time. Also when Rudy calls himself "Quagmire" to Nokopara he says the name in Human-Tongue so Nokopara has no idea what it means lol.

Ryne

They should address why the poster showed her older form in the next couple episodes. If not, I'll explain it then. Or someone else will. The way they handle the teleportation network in the series is really cool. Many of the circles around the world were disabled to prevent them from being abused, like having an army teleported into the heart of your city. Knowing where the remaining active teleportation circles are and how to get around using them is a game changer.

I agree that mushoku tensei has the best world building in anime, theres also so much more details and history in the LN that makes it even better. The only world building i like more than MT is the world of A song of ice and fire

Fabien

If you like the world of Mushoku Tensei don't hesitate to check the worldmap with a quick google search (in the manga it has been shown several times since the teleportation incident, so I don't think it's spoiler, all the maps I've seen are related to Eris, Rudy and Ruijerd's travel). You could see where Millis is (where Cliff comes from and where Rudy initially reunited with his father), or Asura, Sharia, or the labyrinth where Zenith was prisoner. I find it fun to visualize the travels.

ByakkoByakuya

I think it's already been addressed multiple times in the anime. One example, when Rudy tells Ruijerd he got Demon eyes from Kishirika back in S1, Ruijerd says something along the lines of "So she finally reincarnated?"

ReCursed

Poor Kishirika dies and ressurects before she could grow. She needs someone to care for her so she could grow fully

Rostislav

Actually, you might accidentally come across the final map that describes all the journeys—it’ll be full of spoilers. But I’m sure there are different versions of the maps, like the anime-only one. You have to be careful.

Rostislav

A world with different kingdoms, cultures, and religions—a world where you can tell, by a person’s clothing and manner of speaking, what religion they follow and where they’re from. The characters aren’t divided into archetypes; they have their own good, neutral, and bad traits… Mushoku seems too realistic—not like a typical anime. On the one hand, that’s wonderful, but on the other, some people take the events in it too personally.

Oasis

The movie that they mentioned from Earth where the aliens get wiped out by a cold, is based on the book War of the Worlds by H.G Wells. It's a good read. The 2005 Spielberg movie with Tom Cruise is also good, but not exactly book accurate. I hightly recommend the book if you haven't read it. Also, it was mentioned several times before in the anime, most notably by Ruijerd in season 1 after Rudy gets his Demon Eye: Kishirika can resurrect herself back from the dead when she dies. But she's reborn as a baby each time. That's how she's technically over 7,000 years old even though she's physically a child. Loving your reactions so far!

Jack Witt

Pretty sure fate was working through Elinalise and Cliff to bring Kishirika back into the story.

Bilal Rajput

when will you guys watch the demon slayer movie?

Loro Lukic

Rudy picked up the lord vessel 😭

Holy Arathi

When Rudeus is exchanging money with the 3 titty woman his eyes flick down to look for just a moment. It’s this funny little detail they just threw in there.

Holy Arathi

Can you imagine is she just forced a demon eye on Cliff, without asking… in front of his wife?

Holy Arathi

Yeah I agree, out of all the anime I’ve watched, Mushoku has….. yeah, has the best world building and attention to detail. I’d put it up there with AOT and even Game of Thrones. Although to me nothing really beats Lotr’s.

Fabien

Rostislav -> Ok, it never happened to me though so I didn't know. They already saw the message so too late to edit but maybe they saw yours too.

Billbob

I agree that MT has pretty much top world building, especially when reading the novels it was clear just how much thought Rifujin put into the geography, history, and culture and made sure the differences stayed apparent throughout. Think the only LN series I've read so far that tops it is Ascendance of a Bookworm which while not crafting a large world like MT does she instead went deep into the culture of a country and its duchies and how they all differ as well as the many differences between the different classes in their society. Helps that the author said in an interview that she started off with the world and society crafting before even starting on the plot. If only the anime could do it more justice but hard to adapt 33 volumes..

Ashamdon

Perugius aint gonna let Geese in his castle. It's easy to forget because it's kinda hard to tell but Geese is of the demon race. He is supposed to be monkey person
