36:22 she was talking about master Lee, he is the GOAT mage in everything. Jang Uk is only the most powerful because the ice stone, it is brute power, but master Lee is the with most knowledge and skills. Actually a fight between those two would be interesting , but I think Jang Uk would eventually win.

Steph saying she wants to keep watching reminds me of Business Proposal 😖 when they watched two episodes in one whew good old times

Knowledge yes but Jang UK is born as a genius when it comes to skills. I remember when he mastered Chisu in season 1, Master Lee was like even i took so and so many years but there are some who could control the energy since birth and Jang Uk is one of them. Its just that his energy was blocked on purpose. I believe, if he had started training again after sacrificing his power, he would have been the strongest mage eventually even without the ice stone. But obviously he is invincible with the ice stone because he posseses the energy of the sky. The former queen was not as powerful even when the ice stone was in her posession.

Their love story is so beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. If you look up the lyrics from the new OSTs, you feel the scenes and their emotions even more. From Jang Uks perspective its like he embraces the painful wound in his heart and prays for her to come back to him despite everything. And from Naksus perspective its along the lines of her heart moving towards Jang Uk even without their memories and she is sorry for that. I love such stories where the characters fall in love with each other all over again even if the circumstances were to change proving that they are soulmates and will find each other every single time.

Yes, I agree Jang Uk is a genius and eventually he would have reached and even surpassed Master Lee normally, that's the reason I believe he would win and the shaman would lose to Master Lee even with the ice stone. But Master Lee is a dedicated mage with almost two centuries of knowledge and practice, we have to take on the results of hard work and compound effort. And as he is a soul shifter, even mastering Tansu (I think it is the name), he probably has to keep himself in check to not go wild, so he is forced to be constantly training 24/7 (like Frieren and Fern always suppressing their mana), the result is a refined control. We can see this with Jang Uk father going wild after that display of magic in season 1 as he lost control of his energy, and he probably would be fine for a long more time as he was powerful enough to go ok for years. Master Lee had a long time to perfect using his spells while maintaining control.

After I watched this episode with you guys,, I felt something in me that I've never felt before. The urge to binge the whole season. Watching it once a week with you guys was killing me lol. Long story short, I finished the season Saturday evening 🙌 😎 still looking forward to your commentary and perspective. But so relieved I did that for myself hahaha cos I was never gonna survive
