Sultan

Tim Tim

Mohamed Musa

Wesly trying to be the best girl

RCG

I’ve been waiting to watch it with you and finally, DStm:IC is here!

Joshua Gilbert

Hey.... Demon slayer isn't an isekai...

pylonsf4

4 ufotable films in a matter of weeks.. we're eating good guys

Afeez

I was literally just about to check when you guys were gonna upload this, what a nice suprise.

V

I don’t understand why people get so upset with demons eating humans, when humans do the same to animals

Marko Genter

Real talk tho I feel like people are kinda glossing over the fact that Kaigaku turned into a demon cuz of Kokushibo like dawg no matter how much of an asshole he was prior and after he turned into a demon I dont think anyone should be upset at you for becoming a demon after almost getting killed by him. Like randomly encountering a upper rank is already insanely unlucky but you encountered the strongest one, nah im turning into a demon idc lmfao.

CD Elio

Wait this is a surprise I didn't know what is this cause of the title lmao. The contrast between Giyu finding the siblings leading them to the good path and Muzan finding Akaza and take advantage of his situation leading to more of a bad path. It's just sad. Next movie will be a blast. Fun Fact: Ufotable doing 3 movies for the Demon Slayer in late 2020s is the same adaptation they do for the Fate Heaven Feels Trilogy in late 2010s. Ufotable having a blast here in this channel haha

Mohamed Musa

Nice title you guys, made me chuckle

elan d

LOL what a cheeky title took me a while to get it

Kret

It's a very different situation where the demon was once human so it's akin to cannibalism then there's also the argument of the level of sentience if an animal turned around and started arguing that it should not be eaten it would change things although not at once as it would take time for cultures to change

Runhua Tang

Un-holy Monster Un-aliver the Movie

Tert

Bro the title has me crying LMAO

CD Elio

The Ufotable generational movies Wes and Steph gonna watch chef kiss.

Mufty

Clicked halfway through to figure out what the show was. W Wesley clever title i think

Omer Durrani

THE DAY HAS COME THANK YOU FOR THE REACTION AND HOLY THAT TITLE TOOK ME OUT LMFAO

Omer Durrani

Such a peak time to be wes and steph fans!!!

Subarun

Damn title took me a while to get, DStm:IC = Demon Slayer The Movie: Infinity Castle (also known as Oni Killer The Movie: Eternal Citadel)

Tony

2nd time watching this movie, 2nd time weeping

TxSadz

Also one of akaza morale was that he didn’t kill any women or eat them

Klinch

Lmao. What a funny title!

sangoire

The title is killing me lolll 😭 i love itt thank you for this!!

Marko Genter

Most demons are victims for the same reason Akaza is. Cuz you gotta remember demons are just naturally evil when they become a demon so Steph's point about morality doesnt apply here it doesnt matter who gets turned they will be bad so they are all victims in that sense. even Kaigaku is a victim cuz he was basically forced to become a demon so he doesnt get killed. Not to mention the manipulation that muzan does with characters like Rui who just wanna be freed from their illness and muzan takes advantage of that. only truly evil people like doma are not victims.

Narawin971

I cried so much in the cinema (and others too lol). I cant wait for the other movies

RCG

Amazing movie. The animation quality is astounding, especially the way they handled the Infinity Castle. The only thing I thought was maybe a bit questionable was Akaza not dying from beheading. I even loved the scene where he tried to put his head back on right after he got slashed but him being able to stay alive like Muzan felt like a bit of a reach for me. That’s something I could have seen happening with Upper One maybe, as I’d guess he’s the closest to Muzan in terms of power. This also made me realize, how are we supposed to kill Muzan while inside the castle? There’s no sunlight, so are we trying to break out somehow ? I really liked Wes’ idea of Doma poisoning himself by absorbing Shinobu’s body, thereby weakening himself enough to be defeated by someone else. It would just be SO cruel to have her go out like this. Btw it’s a trilogy, so there will be two more movies. See you in 2 years for Part 2, I guess ;D

Marko Genter

There are 2 more movies left btw so get ready for a lot more waiting lol. I think this movie is subtittled "akaza's return" in some places.

kingsaadswag

yeah did not expect her to die when I saw the movie, and 2 more movies are coming in 2027 and 2029, and on Crunchyroll will be 2028 and 2030. So yeah, lots of waiting left.

kiyo

the confusion I had from the notification earlier 😭😂

Klinch

"Making me cry for Rengoku's killer" is such a great comment.

Angela🧣🗝️

bro did my whole comment just get deleted.... lol

RCG

You could say there are similarities but people who think it's literally the same are crazy. It's not just the act of eating itself but also why and how it's done. You not seeing the difference is what I'm not understanding.

Nahnah

For ds the question should be who survives not who dies lol

L

I almost missed that it was for demon slayer movie , lol.

Stefan

I never actually hated Akaza. I mean i think the premise is that all demons lose their memories, that's why we got flashbacks whenever they were dying, and many of them found peace at that moment because they regained some of their humanity. And if you look at them as just another life form that is above us on the food chain, they're just doing what's in their nature. And just like humans kill other animals to eat but some kill way more than they should for sport and find joy in it and find justification for it, so do the demons. Akaza however was different. If you look at his fight with Rengoku, he was trying to convince him in any way he could to join him the entire fight, at one point literally begging him desperatly to do so. And he was there on orders to kill, but instead he wanted to save Rengoku. And i would say that was the behavior of someone that is acting outside and above his nature. So i actually really liked his character from the start. But Douma does seem to have his memories and maybe that's why Akaza acted the way he did towards him at the beginning of the swordsmith village arc, when it really looked like Akaza despises him

Angela🧣🗝️

ehhh but ppl also hate him because of the gyomei thing. hes a victim ultimately yes but hes a terrible person regardless

Gia

The best title I've ever seen lol

Yorutia

I like how Tanjiro announcing his "sneak attack" was the reason they were able to defeat Akaza. I mean, technically, Giyu and Tanjiro did not really defeat Akaza. He only died because he himself chose to (which, btw, makes the upper ranks feel so untouchable at this point). If Tanjiro have not done so, then to Akaza he would be like those weaklings that cowardly poisoned his fiancee and teacher, and Akaza would definitely have enraged, regenerated and killed them instead. Tanjiro's "dumb" move was what saved all three of them. This actually kind of reminded me of the Lord of the Rings. The fellowship technically failed to destroy the ring by themselves. Tolkien said it was literally an impossible job. Ultimately, it was only because of Bilbo's, Frodo's and Sam's acts of mercy towards Gollum that allowed him to remain part of the story until he bit off Frodo's finger and finished the job. And according to Tolkien it was the whole point of the story: some evils cannot be defeated by strength alone, and that the very qualities that seem foolish or weak can become the reason victory is possible. Call me a romanticist, but I love how these stories aren't about a perfect hero saving the world with their perfect plans. They save it by refusing to become so consumed by the fight that they lose the very qualities that make the world worth saving (Hobbits' kindness and Tanjiro's compassion).

Ramms

What is that title (took me 10 business days to realize what this was)😭

Kret

This is me making assumptions so bolders of salt required I think part of the reason akaza did not die from the beheading is because of the amount of blood he got from muzan it seems like it was fairly early on with his experiment in creating other demons so he seems to have bumped him straight to upper moon level compared to now where he has them competing for position to receive more blood it might also be the overall lack of growth from akaza in Muzan's eyes that makes him decide to start offering blood to people instead of just forcing it and tbh I think it is quite fitting akaza having such potential but because it's not his choice he is limited a bit like a kid being forced into a family business I think he was on the verge of evolution as a demon in part because he got his memory's back making it his choice and ultimately he chooses no

Alex5AVA6E

Finally!!!!!! Glad you guys loved the movie! BTW we are getting a Trilogy of movies to end the show!!!! It’s gonna be a little while until we get the 2nd and 3rd movies😭

Loro Lukic

Bro I thought this was some Kdrama whatever 😭

Subarun

its right around the corner lol next one is december 2027 (end of the year) and last one is 2029 prob december too

Dragons like Bananas

It's only implied, but Koyuki chose to go to hell with Akaza since he couldn't go to heaven 🫠

Mateo Egey

Damn pretty good movie. I read through DS many years ago and found it only okayish, but the anime and movie are really enjoyable. Just sucks to wait for so long till the next one

Gopal

I wasn't going to watch this until I saw your comment saying this was for demon slayer movie.

Subarun

I already cried enough

Gopal

If cows were sapient and could talk to us, they wouldn't be treated as food.

cory

I can’t believe you guys thought everything would fit into one movie 😭 just to let y’all know there will be at least 2 more movies until the end of demon slayer.

Nody

Akaza will always be my favorite

Gichii

YIPPI FiNALLY am so happy ... why does reaction make me so happy ? xd i dont get it ngl. All my friends say that a wierd thing too like and i kinda get it ... anyways Movie time <3

rryutie

I CANNOT wait to watch this, i've been refreshing your patreon page for weeks now awaiting this reaction!

Blocklv55

Why december? The first movie came out in July 2025 (JP), September 2025 (Worldwide). Then on streaming July 2026. So I'd expect the same schedule for movies 2 and 3. July 2027/2029

rryutie

2:02:59 is too funny with steph's phrasing great movie reaction!

Caraota

You have to remember that most demons lose their memories when they turn so it's not physical brain damage or exclusive to Akaza. It was also previously shown that humans didnt had to accept becoming demons like when Daki was turned.

Tom

Two more movies btw

Renden

I thought it was more like, because he basically didn't have a head when Muzan turned him into a demon, maybe he didn't need it that much to begin with? Also, Giyu's sword piercing the head after Tanjiro cut it off imitated Muzan's hand when he became a demon. Or, at least, that was what I thought 🤔

Holy Arathi

I completely missed that’s what this was. I had to watch their life and anime update to find out. I completely missed it and had no idea what this title was.

Holy Arathi

I don’t watch a ton of anime movies really but this one is up there with one of the best for me. It’s just starts as an explosion and keeps going and doesn’t let up.

Holy Arathi

I just realized… and it isn’t super important but Akaza was THE first 12 Kizuki. Before any of them… he’s the one who’s been in pain the longest. Man that’s fucking heavy.

Holy Arathi

I haven’t looked into it but I think there’s 2 more movies. Don’t quote me of it though.

Holy Arathi

Thanks. I was gonna say the same thing just not nearly as respectfully.
