The main reason it didn't have more seasons was due to the financial reasons. The show is expensive and Amazon had other big projects in the making like the new Lord of the Rings show. Luckily though, it was less of a sudden cancellation and more of a decision the creators were aware of so they had time to plan and wrap (most) of it up!! I do also wonder what elements of season 5 were originally supposed to be spread out more, very interesting to think about. I think the handling of the different situations may just be due to experience. Midge has only been doing comedy for a few years and is not used to people being very critical of her abilities... We've seen her be defensive about other things of that nature too, like the whole "I didn't get fired, I quit" of the Steiner play she was in. On the other hand, she's prob very used to fending off men, and knowing that that particular situation could turn into a tense one if not done correctly. After all, she's worked in clubs for years and it probably does happen a lot. Or/and it's just the amount of passion she has for success and comedy in itself makes it hard for her to process criticism. But that was interesting to bring up cause I've never thought about it that way before!! Great reaction as always.

I am obsessed with the song choice for the ending credits in that episode, I feel like the music choices in the credits don't get the recognition they deserve.

I like that she is steadfast. Her ego I think is going to become a problem. I hate that this show was a casualty of TLOTR tv show. It's the reason Amazon upped their prices and from my understanding it's not that great of a show! I could be wrong

The needle drops for the show are always spectacular. I can't wait to unravel the rest of the series. What happens?? It's very exciting!
