This is kind of a transitional episode, but I really like it, so I was pleased that you both liked it so much (e.g. the party) too. I love that you guys are so addicted to predicting the next development when you watch TV... because The Good Place will mess with any such attempt, every time! (And that's not a spoiler, you've seen it a dozen times already.) At this point, there's no harm in confirming that each season has 13 episodes -- this was known to all us original viewers in advance. Mike Schur also stipulated to NBC that they couldn't order extra episodes, as networks sometimes do when a show catches on -- exactly 13, no more no less. That said, the first 2 are sometimes combined into a double-length season opener, as in season 2, so its total will work out to 12.

I actually think things like getting the Blake Bortles bit would have worked more at the time, considering even now he's been out of the NFL for 4 years or so.

I also do like that you guys are worried enough on these great shows that you don't want to miss anything and so turn on subtitles (as you said going to do on Arrested Development as well). Yes, these shows are really fast paced and jokes come flying...but the only thing I personally don't like (when I watch shows, not when you guys do) is that in comedic shows I find myself reading ahead....and thus jumping the punchline and delivery (especially of somebody like Ted Danson lol).

Also her skin is amazing, and the best thing about her is also being hilarious. She has a podcast called Bad Dates that is damn funny. Though just looking it up now I think there's a new host in the last month or so....but there are a bunch with her as the host.

I also wish they didn't put full sentences on the subtitles. Especially when they do multiple lines of dialogue! It makes it too easy to read ahead for sure

when you were discussing The Real Bad Place, perhaps you needed to differentiate a bit more between the place, where demons work, and the place where people get tortured. It is very possible that these are different places, and I think we saw a little bit of the former when we learnt about Michael's career as an architect. I love these parts of the show where we are not sure where it will head next and what the next adventure will be like. I listened to you discussing all the things you'd like to see and I kept thinking "I don't think that the show is long enough to show all that :(". But hopefully we witness most of the things you asked for ^^
