Love the post-mortem, always insightful. Obviously someone did die in this episode, namely Jackie of course. Hilarious how Tony uses his therapy sessions to figure out how to handle the other problems in his life.

And I'm loving that you have two shows where the offspring are currently finding out what their parents actually do for a living. 🤣

I know you mentioned last week that Joe wanted you to let him know when you were coming up on certain episodes so he can pop in as well. We all have different ones that both of you should do, but of course can't be three or four a season. What if Joe did a poll (using rot13.com of course) so we could chat/discuss/goof/vote on what we think are the best episodes per season (and yeah, that will absolutely be a popular/electoral college situation....but have no doubt we would have much more common ground than that).

Theme song stays the same. Not sure if you guys have said you've seen The Wire or have it on the list, but that's one where the theme song is the same (written by Tom Waits) but done by a different artist/group every season.

Also still have to randomly bang the drum for Deadwood as another HBO show. Finally found somebody just this past week who is doing it....and while she does it fairly well, it's YouTube and cutting out swearing on that show will shorten each hour episode to about 18 minutes lol.

"Does this translate to the grown ups....I mean fighting a mafia don." lol

It's small, but having watched this show multiple times....the attention to detail when Tony sneaks into an occupied office and is hiding from Silvio is ridiculous how every detail on this show is both important and realistic. "Sir? Sir? May I help you?" No spoilers because this happens many, many, many times...but episodes will just end with B or C (or D) plots not resolved and never addressed again. Chase has gotten tons of questions about things like "what ended up happening with this, or that, or whatever," and he has always answered, "It's life. Not every situation in life has a solution...good, bad, or you never know." That's so much integral in what makes this show so brilliant.

Also absolutely, that shot focusing in on Meadow looking at AJ with her eye rolling is absolutely brilliant.

This in no way spoils anything ever, but the next episode is actually considered a watershed moment where the show really found it's footing/voice. Joe might want to hop in on it actually.

Yes, in all truth, the next episode is probably one of the top 5 of the series.
