One thing they had to work around when filming this season was Nicola Coughlan's (Clare's) commitments to Bridgerton which meant she had less time on set to film with the rest of the cast. Also there are 7 episodes this season not 9 :)

OH! That's right. So we really are almost done. What a shame. Also, that makes sense as to why Claire was isolated from the rest of the main cast this season.

i ran into someone on the street during my lunch hour and after a full five minutes of catching up had to say "i'm so sorry, this is embarrassing, but why do i know you?" she was really nice about it and said she used to live with my friend - and with that context i immediately knew who she was/her name.

I always fake it til I make it. I had an awkward conversation with a check out girl who used to date one of my friends a long time ago. I could not place her for the life of me, and we had like a 5 minute conversation.

- That baby girl they use for this show is SO CUTE. - When you’re not Irish it might be hard to tell that Gerry is from the Republic of Ireland. We only really get reminded of it when Joe uses it to mock him. (Like in a previous episode where he referred to Gerry as “that free state bastard”. - If you’re seriously looking for British recommendations, I can’t think of a better one than Taskmaster. It’s a non-scripted comedy show, so different than what you or most people react to — but I do know that there’s at least one or two people who are. It’s sort of nominally a panel show, but kind of built its own genre. It has 17 series (ongoing), a huge global following (even foreign versions) and is easily, hands down, one of the best and most interesting pieces of media I’ve ever seen. (I include The West Wing and Schitt’s Creek on that list, and particularly the way SC is character driven and builds to incredible heights.) It’s simultaneously very simple, and extremely complex. More info, and test clip recommendations from YouTube, available if desired. The entire show is available, in full, on YouTube for people in the USA and a lot of other places, and it’s on Netflix in a lot of places — so it’s widely available for people to watch, and would be free in the USA.

Thanks for the recommendation! We will check it out
