This was the first time I noticed that the minor character names in the credits were the names of Australian celebrities rearranged such as Waomi Natts and Mylie Kinogue.

This show has such fantastic writers. Imagine coming up with the idea of Jeremy Bearimy, and making it work like this. (And poor Larry Hemsworth, once again discovering that he's ugly and forgettable.) BTW, I understand how easy it is to flip, but Will Harper's MIDDLE name is Jackson. (Actually, nonprofessionally, it's Fitzgerald! When he joined Actors' Equity, there was already a William Harper, and he thought Fitzgerald made it all too long for a stage name, so he chose his mother's maiden name Jackson for a middle name.)

Mike Schur shows always have the best background character names! I know there were a ton of joke names for background characters in Parks and Rec. It made me start really watching the credits.

Was it an oversight that your camera stayed small for the whole episode this time, or are you trying out a new setup ?

Taylor

Jeremy Bearimy, baby. And ah yes, the first time many of us saw what William Jackson Harper was hiding under the sweater vests…😆

Roland Cooke

"Chin guitar". Brilliant. :D

DelGuy03

And indeed, why the costumers gave him all those sweater vests in the first place. One doesn't want to let that cat out of the bag too soon....

Eleanor commented a while back that Chidi is "surprisingly jacked", now we get the confirmation

Kristi Govertsen

“My little chili babies…” This is one of my favorite Chidi episodes because even though he spiraled, he confidently spiraled. It’s so funny (and different) to see him confident and decisive—even if it was to confidently and decisively make Peeps and M&Ms chili.🤣

Part with the lady playing the violin on the street made me think of a joke somebody said once: "Do you know what the difference between a fiddle and a violin is? ....the fiddle is played by a racist." (|Obviously not literally, but made me giggle).

I swear, this in no way has any real bearing on the rest of this show - I'd NEVER give spoilers, but there's a book that I've always loved call Job: A Comedy of Justice by Robert A Heinlein. Again, it's not the same, but there are different aspects to whatever the possible afterlife might be throughout the book and it's really quite amazing in my opinion.

Youtalkingtome

That was so gross. Great point. He was confident. I hope that he can get there full time without spiraling.

"Humans are mostly goo and juice. You just take the juice out and they're dead!"

tom

"So sorry for eternally dooming you" "And that's our bad, guys"

tom

It reminds me of "I can't stop glitching, I fear this neighborhood is in danger of total collapse. Sooo that's the main thing, how are you?"

It's pretty weird cause he definitely should have to spend at "least" three hours at the gym and eat five carefully planned meals a day to maintain that physique, it's not the level of bodybuilding you to do just by accident. But I take it as one of those things you have to accept on a TV show, they have a big special effects budget but clearly not enough to make WIlliam Jackson Harper look like a scholar with chronic stomach ache from stress.
