The Funeral to End All Funerals

I don't know why it is showing you that it is a 10 episode season. This final season is 13 episodes (14 if you count the finale as 2 since it is 50 minutes) so you have 5 left.

Shannon Schwartz

FIVE more episodes guys (13 total), you just saw the collapsed list on Netflix. :)

Youtalkingtome

Oops! No, that was an assumption we made (Michael said it was 45 minutes to resolution. Thanks for the correction!

DelGuy03

Where did the idea come from that this season had 10 episodes? It has 13, just like all the others.

I can safely say without spoiling anything that the show ended in a way I never expected…and it’s on my very short list of all-time best series finales.

Michael Manville

"People improve when they receive external love and support, how can we hold it against them when they don't" I love this show so much.

Jamie Morgan

"He is brilliant. And empathetic-" "And jacked!" Guys, your Eleanor is showing :P

Another episode that shows just how much happens in a single episode of this show - The ruling is done, they won! - But the earth is gonna be destroyed - But Janet saves the day, and then Bad Janet, and turns out a whole legion of Janets is here! - But Chidi needs to be woken up! The crazy part is, any one of these could be the cliffhanger but the episode has all four. It reminds me of the bar fight episode

Also the scene of all the Janets walking through the portal felt like such an Avengers Endgame moment when it happened lol. And so cathartic, fans had been wondering if we would see Disco Janet!

oh wow, we are almost there, aren't we? there are a few more episodes left but they are some of the best of the entire show. I really liked the touch with the funerals. there's a scene in The fault in our stars where a terminally ill teenage boy has his friends stage a funeral while he is still alive so he can hear what they say about him. It was one of my favourite parts of the book. It felts a bit like that - bittersweet, a bit hopeless, a bit tragic, a bit ridiculous (Chidi in the pool is *chef's kiss*). Also, disco Janet is back! Also, with hindsight being 20/20. I feel like the Judge wasn't thinking broad enough when she made her decision about Earth. after all, everything we know about life is that it evolves in complexity. so whatever new Earth you create, it will still get progressively more complicated and, hence, make being a good person on it more and more difficult. I felt like she didn't think that through. I am curious to hear what you think Chidi's solution will be? also, I never caught the significance of that Friends reference before. it's hilarious :D (you will know soon enough)

Youtalkingtome

I like your read on that. I honestly don't know what Chidi's solution is going to be. We know how complicated he usually is. I'm sure whatever it's going to be is not to be expected.
