I am so glad you guys watched this movie! it is one of my all time favorites. I like to describe it as Jim Henson and George Lucas' shared acid trip! There are so many cool facts to learn about this movie, so enjoy! But I will tell you that the Toby who played Toby is the son of Brian Froud, the conceptual designer for the film.

The Goblin King's name is actually Jareth, but it's easy to mishear. I love your alternate version of a normal 80s dude named Jared ruling the goblins. ;) 100% there with you in the "let's do in in post" attitude looking like garbage compared to past techniques of filming.
