Damn, that was a GREAT episode! Both of the scenes where she talks to Amy alone in the office......man oh man. Acting heaven! And I think Tony Hale really differentiates Gary from Buster in this episode. Buster could never do Gary's job. The whole breakup sequence was so great. The actor who plays Ted did a great job too. To just come in for quick scenes and yet have complete chemistry and a sense of history with JLD, really good. (it's also a testament to her!). I agree, this show just gets better and better as it goes.

Very subtle “if you know, you know” joke that Gary is at fault for more of the pregnancy mishap. He is constantly giving her rose hip tea over the last 2 episodes which is not recommended for pregnant women due to potential birth defects or miscarriages.

Yes completely different from Buster in this episode. He really found Gary's tone. I loved that the actor who played Ted, clearly had a blast doing this and you're right. He did have perfect chemistry and he had what? Maybe 5 minutes of screen time
