Excellent choice!! John Carney is now one of my favorite directors after this, Begin Again, & Once.

Pam Nail

He's got a new one coming out soon with Jack Reynor again & starring Paul Rudd. I can't wait!!

Soundtrack is definitely the best part of the movie, I have a lot of them in my playlist

Never apologize for singing too much. Second only to the channeling of the old, mid-Atlantic, Hollywood-style accent, the singing and the busting of moves is my favorite part of these reactions.🙂

I was gonna recommend yous to watch Once, but reading the comments I see at least one of you has seen it? Still worth a watch if the other hasn't? Much more tangentially related is Frank, a sort of faux music biopic that is half set in Ireland and has a fair amount of Irish actors but is certainly not as close to the brief as Once. Anyway, a great (and weird) performance from Michael Fassbender, well worth checking out

Joe here! I have not seen Once, and am a little embarrassed to admit I haven't even heard of it. Maybe I can do it as a solo watch down the road. I remember seeing the previews for Frank when it came out. Seems wild!

Definitely check out Once! on the channel or not, it's well worth a watch. sort of a more mature and adult version of this story, and with even better music (Oscar winning, no less)

I'd never heard of this one, and I loved it! Thanks so much for sharing this reaction. "I don't do 'words', alright?"
